Ladies the thread got too big so I have started a new one hope you don't mind, I will cart the list and the tonnes of baby dust over in a minute.......................

OP posts:
Bucky2007 · 22/10/2007 13:19

You give me hope Appletise, congratulations! TEW got me yesterday eveningso onto Cycle 6 I go....I think the list is still saying yesterday's CDs and I haven't got time to update it at work, so if whoever updates could move me to CD2 I would be grateful.

Thanks.

spookykitty · 22/10/2007 13:27

Nakamura - TBH I would take the Sudafed as well, my GP told me that they always put "do not take if pregnant" on the box as they just don't know if any damage could be done to a baby and as they can't test it on pregnant women they just stick it on the box to cover themselves. I've taken Sudafed whilst pregnant and Migraleve because I was in so much pain and had a toddler to look after at the time. As for the Brie I would say enjoy it, theres a v v v v v small risk if you eat some that it may be infected with Listeria (rare IME) then it has to survive your bodys defences then cross the placenta then infect and cause the baby damage.

Bucky - sorry the EW got you again

Oh I'm so fed up of the 2ww and it's only CD19 today, AF due next Wednesday.

abbevillemum · 22/10/2007 14:45

Hi guys - does anyone know how likely it is that stress can delay a period? It is the only other reason I can think of for me not getting TEW.

abbevillemum · 22/10/2007 14:45

Hi guys - does anyone know how likely it is that stress can delay a period? It is the only other reason I can think of for me not getting TEW.

Excitable · 22/10/2007 15:07

stress can definitely delay a period, AM

I'm absolutely sure of that one!

digitalgirl · 22/10/2007 15:16

ooo I'd like to know too!

but how much stress? I'm pretty chilled. not worried about money. don't have an evil boss. parents got divorced a long time ago. no recent deaths in the family. not moving house. not got the builders in. not training for a marathon. just want AF to turn up more than once every 7 weeks.

Excitable · 22/10/2007 15:25

At the risk of stating the obvious, I don't think it's stress in your case, DG
Sounds like you're having a nice time except for the stupidly long periods, though!

abbevillemum · 22/10/2007 16:00

I will take another test tomorrow. Here's hoping...

GardenAngel4 · 22/10/2007 16:01

I am 5 days late and have been very stressed last two weeks...............

Shazza2002 · 22/10/2007 16:30

Afternoon all.

I definitely think stress plays a part, that's what I'm blaming at the moment (when I'm not blaming DP that is)

What a funny thread this is, half not wanting AF and the other half wanting AF to hurry up cause we know we're not PG

ladylush · 22/10/2007 18:18

Hi cycle buddy sweetkitty

Congrats appletise

Nakamura - avoid decongestants in 2 ww apart from Vicks vaporub. They can cause abnormalities in a developing embryo. That said, I'm sure a one off won't do much harm . You can use nasal spray beclomethasone (according to my gp)- which you get otc in chemists. I get bad colds and sinusitis. It's a nightmare when ttc. I use steam rooms (also not a good idea when pg/ttc!)max strength vit c tablets and the nasal spray. I have no idea whether the steam room is less risky than the sudafed but I take a chance as I can't abide sinusitis. If I get a bfp I won't use steam room anymore.

pigleychez · 22/10/2007 18:25

Congrats to Appletise Great news!

I agree that stress can def delay it. I remember a good few years back when my boss was off for 2 weeks and I was left in charge for the first time, I got so stressed about it that AF was 3 weeks late!
Think after it was a little late and the boss was back I was stressing about AF not arriving as I wasnt TTC and in no way ready for a baby.

After a family party yesterday I found out that my cousin had an eptopic pregnancy. Their were rumours that she was pregnant at our wedding in June and it seems they were true. Feel so sorry for her but also abit that she was even pregnant to start with. Odd I know!
Funny how things turn out isnt it.. 6mths ago, no-one in my family was pregnant or TTC. Now my sister is 2 mths gone, my cousin is trying again and we are trying crazy!

pigleychez · 22/10/2007 18:27

Sorry guys

Just read that back and I sound like a right heartless cow!
Dont mean to, Im really sorry for my cousin... just desperate to get pregnant myself!

Evening all,

Congratulations Appletize and Queen of Bleach
Did another test before I went to work this morning and completely forgot about it ( I did leave for the office mega early) and DH and I have just checked it together and there it was............................... a BFP on CD 27
Now in total shock. Didn't want to consider the very very faint line on Saturday was anything to get excited about.

pigleychez · 22/10/2007 18:39

07mumstheword · 22/10/2007 20:46

Congrats Libralady Wonderful news. I have to say I was that the test was sat there all alone all day!

bucky I see what you mean once we are up to 1000 messages we are maxed out, what do we do? Make a new thread bring on the BFP's part 3

kd73 · 22/10/2007 20:53

Congratulations to all those BFP

CD1 today so back to the beginning , dp disappointed (welcome to my world honey!)

Hey ho see you in November!

ladylush · 22/10/2007 21:38

Sorry about tew kd

Hi Scorpio Popped into your antenatal thread a few weeks ago to say hi but think you might have been away. How's it all going?

digitalgirl · 22/10/2007 22:02

another bfp! proper big congrats libralady (after little congrats when you got your faint line)

sorry for AF KD

I think AF is nearly here. Got brown CM and just drunk two glasses of wine so am hoping she turns up tomorrow in full force.

(but also secretly hoping it's an implantation bleed because I'd much rather have a BFP please...but also know it's not...damn)

spookykitty · 22/10/2007 22:31

yea libralady congratulations

[SK rubs graduate list for luck]

KD - sorry about AF arriving it's rubbish isn't it

DG - sorry yours looks like it's on it's way, maybe you should start a thread asking about long cycles and ttc see if anyone has ideas

Foghorn - where are you hiding?

Re: New thread anyone got any ideas, what about

The ONE ttc thread, we will stay here until we all get a BFP!

something like that???
