Can anyone help, I'm confused again!

I'm CD14, had EWCM Thurs, did one and only OV test today (wasn't going to bother but had a moment of inspiration at FME) and it seemed to show OV (I didn't get face as you all seem to mention, which type would that be? I used ClearBlue) Despite poor DH's man flu and my cold BD'd Thurs, Fri and today. My query is sorry TMI alert that I had slight show of blood afterwards. Has anyone else experienced this? Any ideas?

Also I always seem to get a cold/sinus problems around OV? Is this coincidence or has anyone discovered this?

Do you know I consider myself to be reasonably inteligent (well Almost) but when it comes to all this I find I'm a fish out of water. Sometimes there are just no answers and I have to be patient.

Sorry I'm going on again, any guidance much appreciated.

SK waves at all her fellow bunged up husky voiced TTCers

artichokes - hello and welcome to the thread, I started TTC no 2 when no 1 was 8 months old and still BFing, got pregnant first month of TTC so have a 18 month gap, personally I love it, I used to panic a lot about having two but it's great to see the interaction between them and they adore each other (most of the time).

ladylush - hello cycle and CM buddy, are you using opks this month?

07MTW - looks good that you have ovulated, I have had slight bleeding after sex before if it's erm a bit rough, wouldn't worry about it too much if it's just a little bit. Don't know about the sinus/ovulating thing though but it looks like your on the 2ww now!

ladylush · 14/10/2007 21:36

Hi sk - not so far. Might buy some tomorrow though. I think I got a positive opk on day 12 last month but the month before I kept getting positives so was getting v confused. Might just decide to chance it - always worked before

fairysnuff · 14/10/2007 21:39

LOL my sticky shoooe!

Yeah for Har!!
Boo for shreksmissus.

CD24 for me and I have been having a few cramps
It feels sad but then could it be implantaion?
Have I asked this already??

How long from these tummy pains until I can pee on something???
I need to pee on something!!

I was going to go out and buy some opks at the weekend but they were £21
And I have not really had an EWCM, if it had been a late ov, I would have had that right?
Hope it was not a late ov cos DH and I have not been up to any BD lately so I will have missed out if that were the case
But the pains were on the right hand side specifically, on Friday.
Maybe I ought to jump his bones tonight
It is so calculated isn't it

spookykitty · 14/10/2007 21:45

fairysnuff - I bought some opks and hpts on ebay a few days ago £4.88 for 25 (includes postage) after saying I wouldn't the correct thing to do is not to pee on anything until the day AF is due but AS IF, 10 dpo is the first you can pee on something I read somewhere as it can take 10 days for bean to implant.

fairysnuff · 14/10/2007 21:48

Artichoke I am ttc #2 and my DD is 12 months, I think it will be a really good age gap.
My BF has the same as you SK and it seems to work for her too. I will be happy with 21months between them if I can manage but don't want to be much more than 2 years if I can help it.

I am BF too and am worrying that it is stopping me but am soooo not ready to stop the BF just yet. Seems selfish to stop that as DD is happy (now I had a nursing strike a couple of weeks ago, but she has come round)
I will see, if we don't manage this month and I have another 40 day cycle, I may consider it seriously.

07mumstheword · 14/10/2007 21:55

SK Wow just been on Ebay to see the tests available. Placed a bid on one, what a bargain. I've spent a fortune in Boots. Thank you so much for your tip. I've got to wait 6 hours to see if I'm successful lets hope I haven't encouraged too many MN's to look and out bid me, should have kept quiet until tomorrow but too excited

fairysnuff · 14/10/2007 21:56

So, if I ov on CD14 (loads of crazy EWCM that day) then I could test today??

Ok, hands up, I admit, I wasn't going to tell you I tested yesterday BFN
But, I knew it would be, I only did it to shut the voices in my head up!!
Also, I had told my self I would, just in case I ov on CD8 (loads of EWCM that day too)

I am going to leave it until next saturday now, I promise fairy hangs her head in shame

But would just love to know if that is clever or just destined to drive me insane. I think it will be or the best.

Someone hold my hands to stop me running to the loo with a test tomorrow am.
Hide my one and only test (only one left, so I don't want to waste it) for me please.

spookykitty · 14/10/2007 22:00

Word of warning about ebay hpts though, I had two BFNs on them before, after AF was due and had to get a CBD and got a BFP. The new ones I got are supposed to be very sensitive and good so we shall see.

fairysnuff · 14/10/2007 22:01

I actually had an order for some but I cancelled it, figuring that if I was not successful this month, I would get them next month.
Also, I thought the strike would hold the postage up, so it would not be worth it.
typical, eh?

Do you think the pains could have been implantation?
Or more likely to be late ov?

God, it is so hard to know!!

spookykitty · 14/10/2007 22:02

Aww FS poor you BUT it is very early and I cannot say anything as I tested 9dpo last cycle and got a BFN but it stayed BFN lets hope your changes though, stay away from peeing on sticks though

07mumstheword · 14/10/2007 22:04

SK Lets hope I got good one's too but hey never mind at least when I have the urge to pee on something it's a cheaper option

fairysnuff · 14/10/2007 22:04

Well, that does not surprise me, my opks were from ebay and I never got a postive with them But was almost certain I had ov'd on CD14.
Then again, now I am questioning that??

But I just don't think I trust the stick ones that you have to dip, would rather have the pee on ones.

07mumstheword · 14/10/2007 22:06

OMG didn't realise there were dipping ones too. This is all too much why can't I just sit back relax and let nature take it's course

spookykitty · 14/10/2007 22:12

I dip them all I'm rubbish at peeing on them, I have a special test pot to collect my pee

I agree though cheap ebay ones are good for peeing on, I'm waiting until I get a faint line on the cheapies before splashing out for a CBD between the opks and CBDs I spent nearly £50 last month (shh don't tell DP)

pigleychez · 14/10/2007 22:40

I started my CBD opks today CD9.

I too collected and dipped rather than pee'd directly. Too scared ill miss it!

This is the first time ive used them ( or any OPK's) so im looking forward to seeing my first

Chez

GardenAngel4 · 14/10/2007 22:49

artichokes welcome, don't worry about that age gap, should i be successful this month (starting to doubt it at the moment) my age gap will be (gulp)15 months......

fairysnuff · 14/10/2007 22:54

Oh my goodness, that is a small age gap
Good luck, crazy lady

Har · 15/10/2007 08:34

Good morning everyone! Thank you all so much for being so nice - made me so happy ! You are all so lovely .

Pigley - lovely to see your wedding photos, you looked beautiful! How was Paris?

Meglet, Picknmix, Mcchesers, Shrek and SK, hope you're all feeling better now. Can't believe there's so many bugs flying around. I had a cold last week (so maybe that cold = pregnant thing is right?! Hope so for everyone!) Or else it's October and shitty weather and this is completely normal. I prefer the baby reason. Glad to hear you've turned the colds to your advantage by seducing your dh/ps with husky voices (lol at Pat Butcher!)

Missus H - that sounds interesting. And I only had one day of freaky cm (though boy was it freaky), otherwise it's just been normal cm (usually nothing before AF arrives like you). My fingers are crossed!

Shrek - so sorry about TEW but still early in Oct so stay on this thread!

Welcome Artichokes! 7mums don't know about blood but I think as long as there's only a little it should be ok. Has there been any more since (ie apart from after bd)? Like SK I think that it's quite common to get some blood after bding, the skin is so fragile down there (sorry tmi ). I've definitely had a little before.

Big wave to Bucky!

Fairy yay about the cramps. I think that's a good sign. I had them for about four days before AF due and they're still going on. I didn't test positive till a week and a half after first cramps. Would've said wait until a week or so after but that would be inhuman (I tested days before AF due) and then I see your confession about already testing . Think you need handcuffs not handholding (but the freedom to pee on things is a human right)! Have you tested this morning?!

As for me I'm so happy but extremely nervous. Now that it's happend I am just so scared that something will go wrong. Have been trying to get hold of my gynae for an hour now and still engaged. Want her to tell me everything is all right and what type of cheese I can eat!

Feel there have been lots of BFPs so this is a good thread, please all get them so we can move together. I'm staying here till then!

Shazza2002 · 15/10/2007 08:54

Morning Ladies

How are we all feeling today?

Congratulations Har

Sorry to all those who have not been feeling great this weekend or those who have been touched by TEW. I suppose why she's hassling some she's leaving other's alone

Well I gave in and tested on Sunday BFN. I knew it would be only CD26 and hadn't really BD much. I have justified my reasons for testing so early though.

Basically 1st month off pill (sorry to keep repeating this) but had what I think were OV pains from CD13-CD16, since then just felt like absolute shite, tired, nauseous, ratty, sore boobs. So now I have got the BFN I can at least accept that these are going to be the normal feelings each month, which just so happen to be a lot like pregnancy symptoms, which is just great (not!). Or it could just be my body getting used to not taking the pill anymore. Either was I suppose I'm no better off but kind of feel a lot more relaxed.

So just wait for AF to rear her ugly head this week and then get on with some serious BDing

Here's to a happy monday

Har · 15/10/2007 09:31

Hi Shazza - I felt really awful the first cycle off my pill, very emotional and mood swings etc as well as things that seemed like pregnancy symptoms like sore nipples and metal mouth. Have heard from a lot of people that your body is a mess after the pill and the bad mood/ being vile to your dp/h thing is normal! Think your body goes a bit cold turkey without all those yummy fake hormones.
On the other hand the fact that you are so tired and nauseous plus sore boobs sounds like it could be something more. You're still quite early to test, I know some people can test days early and get a BFP but I didn't get one till five days after I was due on and that was very very faint.

Well having been engaged every time I tried to call, the appointment booking line for the gynae is now closed. Opens again on Thursday! One hour twice a week, no wonder it's constantly engaged!

ladylush · 15/10/2007 09:39

Something weird is going on with my body as I have permanently tingly breasts. Most uncomfortable I can tell you. They are more veiny too but can't be pregnant as only on cd12 and this has been going on since the last cycle.

Shazza2002 · 15/10/2007 09:46

Thanks Har

Whilst I have always been a bit of a stroppy cow (well according to family, everybody else calls me smiler) these past couple of weeks have been hurrendous sp?, I have been an absolute nightmare, I know I have been but can't snap out of it. Glad others have experienced it IYSWIM, now I can cancel my reservation at the loony house .

Bad news about the gynae, that's just not good enough really is it. So how does it work where you live, do you have to speak to them before you can be referred to maternity hospital?
