Poor Lulu , hope the break gives you some time to relax and think about other things.

sk how are you feeling now? any better?

well, my sore nips have become sore breasts, I haven't been able to shift this bitter taste in my mouth since last night. so despite this morning's BFN I'm not giving up hope until AF deems to show her face.

dg - I'm really crossing fingers for you - we were cycle buddies til AF came calling for me, so that means I'm extra specially rooting for you. Hold onto that bitter taste and the hurty boobies!!

Har · 13/10/2007 21:38

Well... BFP! Of course SK I had zero restraint and went and bought a bundle of hpts when I got off the train (four hour journey and a loo I could never use so it worked out well!), a set of normal and one special digital. 2 Bfps (but very faint) yesterday and then used digital this morning. Was so nervous in case I'd imagined that it was a line. But it came up pregnant. I am so happy but then am scared to be so because it seems so many get an early mc.

Digital I'm two days ahead of you in cycle (and have shorter cycles than you) and got a bfn every time till yesterday (starting with 4 days before Af should have arrived, of course) so that was 6 days over. So absolutely don't give up hope yet, the cramps you've had for a while sound promising as I usually only have them day of period and this time they started a week before and every time I thought AF was arriving and she never did. I haven't been dizzy but have been feeling mildly nauseous as well as the 'interesting' cm we've both had. I'm really, really hoping for you.

Anyway I'm at a hotel and am only meant to be on here for a few minutes so could only skim read all the postings (so many since Thursday evening!) so I'm sorry this is all about me. Hugs to all those who've had tough days like Sk and Fairy. Sk look after yourself and hope you're feeling better soon (and can throw yourself into the bd campaign), lots of nasty bugs flying around at the moment. Very sorry about AF Emmsy but you sound ok, which is good, hope you are,. Lulu I'm so sorry for how you're feeling.

And fun to see the pics Excitable. Want to see what everyone looks like! Though couldn't stand the disappointment if Pixie wasn't wearing a pointy hat.

Anyway, scary Spaniard behind me (so hoping he doesn't read English) so better go but had to tell you! Good night everyone and hope you're all having good weekends. xxx

Morning ladies.

CONGRATS HAR!

Ive updated the list for today, hope its right ( its is early!)
Started using my CB OPK today but no yet. Felt really odd doing it for the first time today, Last time I peed on a stick, I was only about 19 when I was unexplainably 3 weeks late!

Saw my sister yesterday, first time since she told me that she was pregnant. Found it really akward to talk to her, didnt really know what to say. Found it hard with my mum talking about babies. Sure It will improve with time, just tricky.

Excitable

Didnt really know what to expect when looking at your photo's.
Its funny when your chatting on here and you know the name but not the face. However now I do!
Ive updated mine too now. If anyone looks im not 12 which I look in my photos im actually 26! Everyone always ID's me as I look so young. Suppose i'll be gratefull of that when im 40!

Hope everyone managed to get some bd'ing with DH/DP's in a good mood what with winning the football and rugby.
We are off to Paris on wednesday till sat evening. What with the Rubgy final I have a feeling that its gonna be very busy! Not that we are going for that... it was intending to be a romantic break. Well hope to get my on my OPK whilst out there... Nudge nudge!
[Grin]

Sorry girls- what a complete load of waffle! Please ignore me!!

Har - that is brilliant news am so so happy for you I know you were down when we were using the opks and you didn't get the then I got AF and you have nothing and the BFNs but I knew you were so late something must be up. Loads of congratulations it's funny to think you were my cycle buddy I'm on CD11 of a new cycle and you have just got a BFP, heres hoping theres a few more as we started well but have been a bit thin on the ground recently.

Pigleychez - aww romantic break in Paris and just think you have a name if you conceive whilst there

Well I'm still feeling really rough here all chesty cough and phlegm, hope it doesn't prevent an egg being hatched, no BDing last night either so must get some in tonight DP is away tomorrow night and I reckon I will ovulate Tuesday or Wednesday. I have no self restraint either and bought some cheap tests off ebay opks and hpts hope they arrive tomorrow or I might miss the peeing on them date. Am actually going to buy some Robitussin legitimately for my cough.

Meglet · 14/10/2007 09:43

Fab news Har! So pleased we have a new bfp at last!

There is no bd-ing our house, I have had a nasty tummy bug all weekend so DP had to take over with DS. Felling better today though so hopefully we'll get back to it tomorrow.

Bucky2007 · 14/10/2007 09:45

Congratulations Har that's really cheered me up. I was really feeling sorry for myself today and now I feel much more positive. .

SK hope you feel better soon.

Morning everyone else. Hope you are having a good weekend.

SpookyDooooo · 14/10/2007 09:48

Hi Excitable - Not coming to join you at the moment, was just sending you some baby dust & wishing you all luck.

I have a ds who is 5 & a dd who is 22 months i think my baby days are over but only time will tell

mcchesers · 14/10/2007 11:22

Aww Har congrats!! This is a lucky thread
We can do it!!

I thing I've had what you have SK, went to the doc on Thursday and it was Tonsillitis. They gave me some antibiotics and it's mostly gone aside from the sore muscles. Doc says it's ok to keep ttc. We managed to BD Friday night and hopefully today before DH goes out of town for a week! If I get a BFP this month it will be a miracle. Also, my CB opk is broken. £26.00 and all this time waiting and the damned thing is broken. I can see me taking this back to boots " Uh, hi I peed on this but it's broken, can I have a different one?"

07mumstheword · 14/10/2007 11:25

Har How fantastic to log onto MN and find you've had a BFP. So pleased for you. Congratulations.

bloodsuckingLOONEY · 14/10/2007 12:46

Gosh ladies, you make it very hard to keep up . I keep popping in and intending to come back but then am overwhelmed with the number of messages and never get chance to read! LOL

Anyway, CD28 for me. 3rd cycle after coming off the pill. First one went on for 32 days, last month was a week less at only 25 days and now I'm not sure when she's coming but pretty sure she's on her way! I suppose if AF isn't here by day 32 then I ought to test???? That will be on Thursday so we'll see. For those of you who read my details about probably not getting pg til Feb.....it's weird how I was desperate but now I feel like ok, Feb it is, and the thought of getting pg before now scares me! Weird!!! Anyway, will see what happens.

Still popping in to see how you are all doing.

Congrats Har!

MissusH · 14/10/2007 14:19

Afternoon all - sounds like it is Lurgyville in Spooky BFP world (puts surgical mask over face and sprays a big cloud of Vicks First Defence around the sofa before sending out "get well soon" vibes to all...)

Have just popped in to catch up on the weekend threads and spot a BFP

Congrats Har it's so good to get a new member on the G-List!!!

Well it is all quiet here - dh & dd have gone exploring in the woods so I thought I'd have some me time before they come back and need hosing down

I'm on cd 28 and so far no signs of TEW approaching... I have had sore boobs on and off all week along with total knackeredness (I know that's not a word but tiredness just doesn't sum it up!) and after the ewcm vanished I was not as desert like as usual (no freaky cm a la dg & Har though) But no cramping yet or any of the normal stroppy mood swings. I'm still convincing myself that I'm not pg so that when TEW jumps out and says "boo" (well it is alomost halloween...)I will not be too p'ed off...

The wait & knicker-watching continues....

Hello all, not been on for a few days, visitors....

oh shrek, cyclebuddy. Sad for you

But well done har awesome. 13 will forever be lucky now for you!! And I thought the Well of luck was drying up...let's hope the trickle becomes a gush!

spookykitty · 14/10/2007 19:12

evening ladies how do you like my new sexy husky voice? Am erm having a lot of CM not sure if it's EWCM it's not stretchy enough yet but heading in the right direction.

shreksmissus - bad luck about AF, we decided a while ago that we wouldn't go off to a new TTC November thread but we would just go back to the top of the list so we could all stay together, bad enough getting AF without getting thrown off the thread so stay with us

artichokes · 14/10/2007 19:13

Hi All

Can I join this thread? Is there an etiquette on how you join?

Shall I just give some background info?

DH and I have just started TTC no 2. Our DD is 14 months. She took 3 months to conceive but I am still BFing her so that might affect my fertility this time round. To be honest I am a bit scared of having no. 2 potentially so close in age to DD but DH is raring to go and I know it could take a while.

I am CD 19 but have 33 day cycles and normally ovulate around CD 21 (well I used to - I have no idea what my cycle is doing at the mo).

ladylush · 14/10/2007 19:53

Welcome artichokes - no ettiquette, you just join the thread

Sk sorry to hear you're bunged up with a nasty cold Hope you feel better soon. Think I am at same stage of cm as you - lots but no ewcm yet.

Shrek - sorry about being on cd1

ladylush · 14/10/2007 19:55

Oh and I forgot to say CONGRATULATIONS to Har. Very pleased for you I wouldn't have been able to resist testing while away either! Enjoy your time away.

SK and Shrek I have now passed the stage of husky voiced Phoebe style to more a Pat Butcher'esque laugh that makes me sound like I have a 40 a day habit!! Hopefully this means the cold is on its way out though...

Shrek sorry to hear about af arriving
