Just Checking in Ladies

LOL at you all being of me relaxing in the hot tub will be doing it again for a whole day in 2 weeks

I have a cold bloody sniffles are doing my head in and had no bding since AF left so think it'll be nov for me

SK How are you??

Ladylush Love the singing

Har · 11/10/2007 16:50

Hurrah that nasty nasty AF has left SK!!! Now it's nice stuff for the next few weeks! Oh and love that you fluffed up Pixie's toadstool (maybe that was in symptom spotters) - sounds sooooo cosy. I want one too .

Ring test? Isn't that the one advertised on the tube now on Sanatogen posters, dangle a wedding ring over the bump and if goes one way (hypnotism styley) is means a boy and the other way a girl (or vice versa). Something like that anyway! Didn't know you could do it over a normal tummy though, that's fabulous. Shall we all start with that now?!

As for me, five days over due date and (very) mildly nauseous. Bad cramps last night so was sure AF was on her way but she still hasn't come .

Digital was it you who had the TMI ALERT wierd CM a few days back? I had it last week and seeing that everyone seems to be sure you're pg I thought I'd hitch a ride on your symtoms...

ladylush · 11/10/2007 16:59

Sounding promising Har. Gonna test?

digitalgirl · 11/10/2007 17:02

yep, that was me. weird weird weird. have had loads of ewcm since monday. bd'ed tuesday, but as i'm TMI ALERT so soft down there (like the whole canal), it was also weird and took ages for dh to finish

have no idea what's going on with me...obviously hoping i'm pg...but thinking it's probably to do with being ill and pre-af or maybe still ov'ing.

OMG I just realised I ate half a bag of M&S chocolate peanuts!! Forgot peanuts were on the list of avoidables. What will happen????

QueenofBleach · 11/10/2007 17:05

Peanuts only on list of avoidables if both you and DH are allergic, so don't worry to much thank you all for updating my CD days BD'd madly last weekend and know waiting.

07mumstheword · 11/10/2007 17:08

Ring Test

As I'm not PG the test was done on palm of my hand.

A ring on a chain was swiped across my palm three times then held still over the centre of my palm close but not touching the palm. Hold it still and wait for it to move. Mine moved around & around first which means a girl (correct) then swipe over the hand again and mine moved backwards and forwards twice which means I'm going to have 2 boys.

You must swipe 3x in between each go and when it stops i.e you hold it over palm but doesn't do anything means you wont have anymore. My friends stopped at 2 mine was 3.

Sounds complicated but think you get the gist. Need two of you to do it though. Good Luck

digitalgirl · 11/10/2007 17:10

Phew, no allergies with me or DH! Thanks QueenofBleach

TheMuppetMuggle · 11/10/2007 17:14

well me & DP don't like Peanuts so we are okay.

Evening all. Just a quickie. TMI Alert. I'm currently on CD23 and seem to be getting some EWCM. Reading all other posts I've seen that this can sometimes happen other than around OV time. Just wanted a bit of reassurance that I may still be 'normal'

debinaustria · 11/10/2007 21:21

Shazza - could be that you're pregnant, you never know!

Deb

ladylush · 11/10/2007 21:26

It happens to me sometimes. Is it proper ewcm or is it....ahem........cervical mixed with other fluids?

Shazza, I got lots of cm late in cycle and am presuming it means I'm pregnant . And then last week I had the weird cm that digital talked about. Freaky cm. Ahem.

Ladylush - no hpts in the house (as used them all up at the beginning of the week) so buying tomorrow, though will miss my early morning pee!

Digital - now they're saying perhaps pregnant women avoiding peanuts completely is leading to the rise in allergies. Of course they'll probably say the opposite tomorrow...

Deb, so nice that you're hanging around even though you've graduated. Lovely and cosy .

Well off for the w/e early tomorrow morning so won't be able to check in for a few days. Looking forward to LOTS of graduates on Sunday evening. Have a great weekend everyone!

Har · 11/10/2007 23:12

Oh and Anniemac, I think your logic sounds flawless !

ladylush · 11/10/2007 23:25

Har, you can save your fmu in a pot (clean obviously)then test with your hpt when you get back. Excited for you

Har · 11/10/2007 23:57

Thanks ladylush! And thanks for tip, only thing is I'm going away for the w/e (setting off tomorrow morning), my little pot could be less than lovely by the time I'm back on Sunday evening! Will have to be brave and wait till Saturday morning (who am I kidding, I'll be testing the minute I get hold of an hpt or ten). Off to bed now, sleep well! x

Har · 11/10/2007 23:57

Sorry, you did say save it for when I got back. Would it last that long?!

Emmsy · 12/10/2007 06:28

Morning ladies, hope you are all well this morning? HAR your pee will be fine to keep for a few hours, I have often been to the family planning clinic for a preg test in the evening with my first morning pee! Good luck
I am expecting my AF today! My temp has dropped right down today (near my coverline) My temps have been so accurate over the last 14 months and I am 14 days past"O" today so it all points to the evil bitch on her way! So no BFP for me this month Anyway probably for the best as it will be my first AF since last M/C. Just can't stand the thought of having to go through all the B/D with DP it's so calculated and false when were TTC and DH can't always produce the "swimmer's" we need! It really get's me down, I wish there was another way of doing it that didn't include sex! (it's just not the same when were TTC) Sorry for going on, I'll shut up now, speak later if I can get on the computer!

Morning all just popping in to update the list and say hello. Am coming down with a cold sore throat and funny ears (I always get funny ears) hope it doesn't disrupt BDing this weekend. DP away Monday night so we have to plan it carefully although I reckin O day won't be until next Tuesday.

Har - I would get two tests one for straight away after you bought it and one for tomorrow morning IYSWIM. I'm so impatient like that though. You are so late now have you ever been this later before?

Emmsy - sorry to hear you think AF is on it's way but on the plus side it's good to get off the top of the list cycle waiting and actually have a cycle again.

ladylush - how are you this morning cycle buddy?

anniemac - hello and welcome back to eh ttc boards sorry about your DH being away at crucial times

Right better be off and get the girl ready for nursery then quick dash around the supermarket then housework, oh the joys....

Excitable · 12/10/2007 08:40

My AF seems to have packed up and gone after a day and a half. This is weird. My periods usually last about 5 days. But I'm not complaining..., guess I'm back in the saddle, so to speak.

Sorry to hear you're not enjoying the BDing Emmsy. My BF had just the same thing, she really stuggled, and I hear that lots of other people do too - you're definitely not alone. It must be very difficult for you. How is it different? (Just ignore the question if you want to, but I'm interested)

07mumstheword · 12/10/2007 08:56

Good Morning all.

Emmsy - I know what you mean about sex becoming calculated. My DH doesn't have a clue about when we should be bd'ing, I do all the calculations and seduce him However having said that for about a week a month he knows what I'm up to but it just makes it seem a little more relaxed and "normal". A friend of mine's DH found it difficult so she told him to tell her when he wanted to do it and she fell PG in 3 months! Sorry but I could not do that, what if he didn't want it at the right time??

I did research on internet last night regarding cycles/CM/ovulation and got so confused. Different sites said slightly different things. I think my best bet is just to BD about a wk around the time OV due

Hope we get some BFP's soon. Good Luck to anyone testing.

digitalgirl · 12/10/2007 09:29

har am so excited for you...hope our symptoms have been worth it!! Am away from Sunday morning till late on Monday so won't find out if you get a BFP till then. Fingers crossed and hope you're having a lovely time.

sk dose up on vitamin C and drink lots of water today. then make DH do all the work! hope it's just a passing bug.

emmsy sorry you think AF on the way . the pressure to have sex purely because you're trying to catch an egg which may or may not be there can really take the romance out of it, especially for us girls. i hope you find a way to make it fun next month.

am almost not looking forward to testing tomorrow, i got so upset with the bfn on tuesday and yet I'm also a bit scared of the bfp. would just like to keep thinking i 'might' be pregnant please.
