@butterfly5291 oh bless you, I really hope not! I know how miserable they are. I hope you feel better by the morning 🤞

butterfly5291 · 27/08/2020 23:34

@Stabal thank you. I could actually cry, I was hoping so much not to have any pains and now can't stop worrying about the damage inside me.

Stabal · 27/08/2020 23:39

@butterfly5291 I really hate that I know how you feel. It makes this whole thing worse because not only do you not get your BFP but you're left in extreme physical pain. So many people have told me that having a baby would "fix" my endo.. If only it were that easy!

butterfly5291 · 27/08/2020 23:45

@Stabal I'm so sorry you have had to deal with this and more too. Have you had any laparoscopy to remove any endo tissue? I had my 2nd lap about 2 years ago to remove and since then barely had any bleeding or pain until I got my coil out. Oh except for the pain with the cyst at the beginning of the year, bit that burst on its own.
I had just been hoping that after all my years of worrying this might actually happen easily for me. I know I don't know it hasn't yet but it feels like I could be on the start of a long painful journey

Stabal · 28/08/2020 00:26

@butterfly5291 I've been refused them because of my weight so I guess technically I cannot officially say I have endo but all the symptoms are there and during a physical examination a gynaecologist could feel tissue in the rectum. Lovely. That's where most of my pain is. Not to mention the excruciating pain I had with the mirena coil (twice I let them fob me off with this route! 🤦‍♀️) that a gynaecologist put down to it sitting on endo tissue but because I'd not had a lap noone knew where it was and said I should never have been given it. I guess if another year passes with no BFP they'll now do a lap for me! With PCOS I've also had 2 burst cysts and they're horrendous. It's actually shocking what we have to go through as women 😂 I remember as I was miscarrying shouting to my OH that he caused 50% of this so he will have to stand by the bathroom door and help me when I needed it haha. Just think of it this way, instead of waiting to "see what will happen" the way most people go into TTC, you've done research and you've put yourself in the best position for a chance for it to happen! 💕

LT103 · 28/08/2020 08:10

@stabal @butterfly5291 that sounds awful! Hope you get the tests you need @stabal

butterfly5291 · 28/08/2020 08:38

@LT103 @Stabal cramps seem to have gone and managed to get a good sleep so we'll see what today brings.
Your experience is unfortunately all too common, really hope that you start getting some results soon.... hopefully in form of a baba!
I talk to as many people as I can about endometriosis to increase awareness. So many people haven't even heard of it. It still takes 7 years on average to get a diagnosis. I'd been moaning at my Dr on and off for years about irregular bleeding but was fobbed off with excuses that it was a side effect of birth control...even though I was on progrestrone only ones since I was 15 to prevent bleeding 🙄 I eventually got taken seriously when I turned 30 and had an ultrasound, gynaecologist appointment and diagnostic lap within 8 months. Although when I woke up from my lap the nurse told me "oh yeah you do have endo but there was too much damage for us to fix this time you'll have to wait to see a specialist" and then had two month agonising wait to find out what the extent of the damage was. Luckily, the Endo tissue wasn't inside any of my reproductive bits...more stuck on my bowel and outside of my left ovary. I then had 2nd lap 9 months later.
I am well researched and known I could face issues for years, so when people tell me to relax and I'm only 33 it pissed me off so much!!!! Especially when it's people who know what I've been through already!
Wow that was a bit a ramble!
Happy Friday everyone!

Happygolucky29 · 28/08/2020 10:10

Hi everyone, do you mind if i join. Im 29 been ttc since last june only started tracking ovulation 3 months ago with opks then bbts from last month but been tracking af for few years.
I have read all the posts and i really hope you get your bfp's soon, this ttc is hard work x
I keep going over my ff bbt chart and wondered what you ladies thought on what day i ovulated?can ff be wrong by a day im really hoping so as have discoloured cm today and hoping it is implantation fx. I have resisted urge to frer today as was negative 2 days ago and want to try hold out until af day ideally. And if im only 10dpo today then i used first to early.

I am with you all on comments from people, especially you best get on it, like i havent been for over a year not that they know but seriously did you tell everyone the ins and outs of you ttc... no so why is it ok for you to say anything. Of course i never say anything but its nice to finally rant here.

Happygolucky29 · 28/08/2020 10:10

This is my bbt this month

TTC Baby no1. The crazy lot. Thread 2!!
Stabal · 28/08/2020 10:29

@LT103 thank you! Any crazy symptom spotting your way?

@butterfly5291 I'm so sorry. It's the most frustrating thing knowing there's something wrong with you and noone will bloody well listen and help. I've never been on birth control solely for contraception, though obviously 10 years ago it was an added bonus! We definitely would have been TTC for longer but the need for my pain to be managed took priority. I sat in a consultants office about 3 years ago in hysterics that I couldn't take the pain and bleeding any longer and he handed me a box of tissues, left the room and came back with a woman consultant who forced me to get the mirena coil for the second time. After I managed 6 days before having it removed I was so fed up with everything I decided I wasn't going back on any medication that affects my hormones and I've never looked back!

@Happygolucky29 welcome! I would say FF is right with your ovulation but implantation can happen between 6-12 DPO so your spotting could well be that! 🤞 for you!

Took an IC this morning at 9 DPO, stupid early I know but we're planning on some bubbly tonight for celebration since it's the first evening we've been together since OH got his promotion.. BFN of course!

butterfly5291 · 28/08/2020 10:35

@Stabal that sounds utterly horrendous. If it was men that had to deal with this it would have been prioritised a long time ago! Sorry for bfn but you know that 9dpo is super early especially for IC so doesn't really mean anything yet.

@Happygolucky29 quite a few of your temps are abnormal times try adjusting them on here www.whenmybaby.com/basalbodytemperature.php and see if your pattern changes.

Livvi2021 · 28/08/2020 11:07

I'm so sorry to hear of your painful awful journeys ladies Sad my friend had the same condition, she was in agony and had horrific afs but no drs did anything, she is infertile now Sad

Also sorry for your bfn @Stabal, still early days though, fingers crossed still!

@Happygolucky29
Welcome to you and best of luck with your TTC! I've been tracking mine for years now but only just started opks this cycle and about to start with FF and logging temps Smile

Happygolucky29 · 28/08/2020 11:18

@Stabal thanks, i will keep 🤞.
@butterfly5291 thank you, i will look into those, im on holiday for 2 weeks and missed my alarm a few days not by too much always between 7- 8.30 will be better next week when back in my work routine.

Both of your journey's sound so hard and you've had an awful time of it, i really hope you get you bfp's.
Stable 9dpo is early but didnt stop me either its just to tempting i find last few days easier to wait than the earlier days, my sisters all had massive piss ups just before finding out they were pregnant, could be last chance for 9 months so might as well enjoy yourselves and celebrate you deserve it 🍾
Butterfly, fair play to you raising awareness i had no idea on endo or pcos until reading loads on here, its rubbish noone listened to you but glad you got there in the end although shouldnt have takent that long for anyone to listen.
Sorry if you have both said before theres been alot of pages to read so have forgotten few bits, is this your first or do you have kids already?

Happygolucky29 · 28/08/2020 11:31

@Livvi2021 thanks, i was/am prepared for a long road ive always had a strange feeling it would take years to conceive, ive never used contraception been with oh for 11 years and never any accidents and from the day we started talking about kids i said can take over a year to conceive so need to start trying now but if its meant to be it will be. I have alot of nieces and nephews that are my world so they keep me sane.

I have enjoyed starting to track O but only plan to do for a few months to see what my cycle is and if consistent, good luck with yours. Where are tou in your cycle x

LT103 · 28/08/2020 12:31

@stabal no absolutely no symptoms. But then last month I had sore boobs and nipples, nausea etc and wasn’t pregnant so I think progesterone just likes to play tricks on us!!

@Happygolucky29 I think your ovulation time looks about right though your chart does fluctuate a bit so maybe worth trying to correct it like someone said. The drop in temp today can sometimes mean af is on her way so fingers crossed it goes back up tomorrow and she stays away!!

Crayon7 · 28/08/2020 13:06

6dpo and itching to test 😐 I am trying to hold until BH Monday when I will be 9 dpo at least

stepmumSW5 · 28/08/2020 13:54

@Crayon7 I'm testing on Monday too x I'm 7dpo

stepmumSW5 · 28/08/2020 14:40

My right nipple is hurting so much 😰 Sharp pains that come and go. Anyone had this in the past? I shouldn't have Googled it as everything points to horrible stuff

Stabal · 28/08/2020 16:05

Just replying quick at work to say I don't think I'll be testing again unless AF is late. Can't deal with the disappointment lol plus I'm a bit crampy and uncomfortable today and dropped my steroid nose spray in the cats food bowl (I'm always clumsy around AF) so I reckon I'm out

@stepmumSW5 boob and nipple pain are usually hormone related rather than anything scary. And it would make sense when your progesterone levels are high after ovulation. My left boob has had a stabbing every so often but when I was pregnant both boobs were so so painful I could barely take my bra off without nearly crying! So I'd say your nipple is just hormones, don't worry!

stepmumSW5 · 28/08/2020 16:10

@Stabal Thank you for the reassurance. When is AF due?

Stabal · 28/08/2020 16:22

@stepmumSW5 Wednesday! Seems like so long to wait 😩

stepmumSW5 · 28/08/2020 16:27

@Stabal mine is due Saturday 5th but I'll try to focus on the going back to school stuff this week with my DSC,hopefully that will keep me occupied. The cleaner / nanny is on holidays this week so I'll be busy with the cleaning as well as the regular cooking, giving dsc baths, taking dsc to school etc I'm trying to see this extremely busy week in a positive way. It's Also somewhat strange as who knows how dsc will feel going back to school after all these months... Anyways hoping we all get our bfps!

Livvi2021 · 28/08/2020 18:01

@Happygolucky29 I think I'm 5dpo, but could be a bit more (wasn't confirmed) but I tend to know the couple of days before I Ovulate cause I have a load of symptoms and then they literally just all stop. I think it'll take me ages too. Never been pregnant, have always been on the pill, but also know people who've been on the pill and got pregnant so I dunno. DH thinks it'll be quick but he has no idea to be honest lol.

Couple days after ovulation the sides of my boobs always hurt, like from the outside going into the nipple, really uncomfortable. I used to get worried but now I just realise it's the rise in hormones after ovulation and then then stop hurting when I get AF. I don't think I'm going to bother testing early, just going to wait for AF this time. I'm so sure I'm not pg and don't want to get my hopes up to be dashed. Might be a different story when it gets closer to AF though lol

Crayon7 · 29/08/2020 10:01

@stepmumSW5 good luck 🤞🏻🤞🏻 when is your AF due?

I am not due for another week (next Friday) but can't wait🤦🏻‍♀️

stepmumSW5 · 29/08/2020 10:09

@Crayon7 mine is due Saturday 5th. Let me know how your testing goes. Hoping for our bfps! 💕
