@candycrush2298 I've never used opks before, when the line gets darker like the control line does that mean you've peaked? I'm starting the CB ovulation test tomorrow, the one that gives you 4 fertile days... Hope it works lol I've read the instructions about 100 times to make sure I know what I'm doing😂

@mummyjojo19, glad af has not arrived yet and feeling sick is a good sign. Have you tested?

I tested yesterday but in the afternoon and it was bfn but I have ordered more tests which will arrive tomorrow and af is due Saturday so will test with fmu then xx

@PinkRoseFlower thank you. I am also very flushed today feel like my cheeks are sunburnt (haven't been out in the sun) so not sure if that's a symptom or if its just me lol xxx

@PinkRoseFlower with normal strip test opks yeah the test line needs to be as dark or darker than the control line for it to be considered a positive test.

So the CB 4 most fertile days works a little differently. They are tested with first morning urine and they will search for two hormones. It will look for a rise in estrogen first and once it finds the rise in estrogen you will start getting a flashing smiling face which means you are now in your fertile window and can start having sex every other day or every day (entirely up to you) and then after it has found the estrogen rise each day you test it will start searching for you luthenising hormone (LH) surge once it finds the surge it will stay static for 48 hours and you will not need to test again as that is your peak your most absolute fertile days and is highly recommended you BD on those days. As about 12-36hrs after that static smiley face you will ovulate and then the egg will drop and thats you. Hahaha. You have got this!!! Good luck xx

@mummyjojo19 I am sure I've read that hot flushes are a symptom for some women. Let's hope that's the case for you.

Every month I always end up googling stuff that I think I'm experiencing to check if its a symptom of pregnancy and 9 times out of 10 there is always something on line to suggest it is. I'm going to ban myself from Google this month as I'll drive myself crazy haha. (who am I kidding).

@PinkRoseFlower LOL that I think is most of us... using 'Dr Google' to symptom spot and find out every little detail and then on the new cycle you are like I am not doing that this month - I refuse! and then.... 2DPO weird burning sensation.... ooooh what is that lets see what Google says.... its brutal what we do to ourselves every damn month LOL. The worst is that most symptoms can also be PMS so its like OMG give us a break.

But yeah last cycle I was actually good only lost the plot from about 8DPO new record for me whahahahah!!!

I know right, in school they made it seem like if a man sticks his penis inside you without a condom it will most definitely result in a baby. There was no talk about fertile windows are higher chances to fall pregnant. No notes on how to use an OPK whaahahah!! I guess the aim for them was to put the fear in you not encourage you LOL.

@candycrush2298 Ooooh nearly there! I feel awful today. I dont usually suffer with AF pain but literally feel like ive been kicked in the vagina today!! 😭
My toddler got hold of my thermometer too and now i can't find it so haven't tempted today haha nightmare

My poor husband is looking forward to ovulation week TMI but i walked in on him masterbating last night 🙈🙈 haha!! I feel like the worst wife ever never giving it to him but i felt extremely jealous too!! What a weirdo am i 🤣 i wish these macca pills would hurry up and give me some libido.

@candycrush2298 I'll start testing after shes gone as i ovulated really early last cycle. My first test was peak on CB so lucky i caught it! Probably didn't do enough before though.
Haha they do pink pills but they dont work 🤣 i like morning sex but we never get chance with a toddler in the bed or one of us is out early for work! Come bedtime im too tired 🙈

Ahhh what a pity, is there a way to like set an alarm to wake up a bit earlier in the mornings or wouldn't that really work for you? I much more of a night owl haha.

Monitor literally says "LH surge not yet detected keep testing" going to use another OPK this afternoon as I think I am close tomorrow or Saturday I am thinking.

@candycrush2298 my little one sleeps in our bed 🙈 soon as my alarm goes off shes awake haha! She goes to sleep in her own bed but by 2am she gets up and climbs in with us. Terrible habit we've let her get into but i just love cuddling her in bed. She'll probably be with us until shes 7 haha!!

Im glad i didn't buy one of those monitors. They don't seem to be much more help than a OPK test.

@Kaybobx ahhhhh I know we are not meant to do so many things but we still do. My dog sleeps in our bed so yeah I am probably going to be one of those moms that love cuddles lol!!

The monitor I think is exactly the same as the CB digitals smiley flashing/static only difference is you can log when you have sex and your flow of AF and it gives you an analysis thing with more than one months data so you can show your doctor. But yeah no different to the digital OPKs and using an app. I only got it for the exact reason of taking it to the doctors as our next step kind of thing.

@candycrush2298 we had to buy a superking bed so we could all sleep comfortably 🤣 haha! She used to get in the middle and kick one of us out. I guess we have no one to blame but ourselves.

Oh ok it does do quite abit more than i thought. My hubby is off work next week so he has no excuse not to go for his semen test! I'm actually going to get him to call right now whilst I remember 🤣🤣

@candycrush2298 You’ve done so much research on twins! That’s amazing so I think because 3 twin cousins are girls they must all have a high likelihood of having twins. All the twins in my family are Fraternal they are not identical twins. Wish we did have identical twins in the family as that would be amazing 😒. Right now I am just praying for 1 baby and hoping I can conceive soon 😞.

So when I spoke to someone at work they said the peak for ovulation is really small so with a graph fluctuating like mine I don’t think I am going to see much 🤣😂. I’ll do it this month and if it’s not working I will stop.

@Elakiya I was curious to know my chances which are pretty much non existent lol!! Learnt this from Dr Google hahahah. I am not over 35, dont have other children and don't have a BMI over 30 and it doesn't run in my family my aunt had identical twins but that doesn't count because identical twins cant be passed on lol. Theres no "gene" for it. So yeah pretty much just found out I don't stand a good chance of having them.

@Elakiya yeah the temp differences are like .1 or .2 and with mine fluctuating like this who knows. Just hope I run real hot during my TWW so I can its increased 🤣🤣🤣🤣
