@Kaybobx so I used to go into my parents bed all the time. I think they made me stop when I was 11 and hit puberty. My dad works early shifts so works 5am to 1pm. Once I’d moved out of home and came home for the weekends (about 21) I’d climb into my parents bed at 5am lol 😂.

Elakiya · 23/07/2020 15:42

@candycrush2298 if we get put on fertility medication we have a high chance of twins 😃😃😃. The benefit of fertility meds. Just have to be pregnant for 2 years and I can have my 4 babies lol 😂

candycrush2298 · 23/07/2020 15:46

@Elakiya that is hilarious!!!!

Yes fertility drugs will definitely increase our chances of twins. But um I don't know about 4 babies whahahaha think 2 will be enough 🤣🤣🤣 I know you want 4 though

@candycrush2298 ugh it was just a voicemail to say 'We are not taking on any new patients for semen analysis, we will update our website when appointments become available' ahhhhhh! We've just brought a test off Dr Fertility. Should be here on Saturday so will let you know the results 😬
Aweeee my hubby wants a dachshund!! They are cute.

@candycrush2298 @Elakiya jealous of your charts they look fab. I literally cant find my thermometer anywhere! By the time i order another my AF will be over

Kaybobx · 23/07/2020 15:50

@Elakiya OMG!!!!! 11 and 21 no no no. I need to stop this now hahaha 🤣🤣🤣

candycrush2298 · 23/07/2020 15:53

@Kaybobx agh how freaken annoying!!! I wonder when they will be back up and taking new people. Oooh let us know what the Dr Fertility test says.

Lol!!! Can you order another one to come tomorrow with prime? Are you sure yours isn't under the bed or something? You only need to start charting after AF has ended doesnt need to be during. I just wanted to get into a routine haha.

@candycrush2298 so annoying with him being off work next week it would of been the best time to go too.

Its around somewhere. She was taking her dolls temperature with it 😂 I'll have a proper look in a mo.

candycrush2298 · 23/07/2020 16:43

@Kaybobx argh thats is so annoying. When he is going to be off again? Mine is on leave in September so really hoping our clinic is open by then and we get a letter as once we get a letter with an appointment date we can call to change it.

Lol how cute is that its probably amongst her toys lol.

@candycrush2298 he's off a week in August but thats only a couple of weeks away. Hopefully they have something then. I think i won't stress so much about it if this Dr Fertility one is ok. The reviews seem to be good.
All my tests and blood tests were clear so if his is fine too i guess we're just unlucky. Im not sure the GP would give anything for fertility if that was the case would they and we'd just have to wait it out?

Hopefully you hear something soon too. You've been trying alot longer than we have, i don't know how you've done it. Im starting to get abit fed up now.

Haha yeah will be in a complete random place. We used to find dummies in our shoes and snacks in our cushions 😂

candycrush2298 · 23/07/2020 20:14

@Kaybobx dammit had typed this whole freaken message out and didn't see it didnt post. Gah.

A week in August would be great but yeah that might be too soon. Yeah I think the tests even though its just an at home test is fab for our anxieties I can really tell my hubby feels the stress a lot less. I think the Dr Fertility is going to be brilliant. Holding thumbs its all normal for you guys.
I have no idea, maybe you could create a thread and ask any second time mums having trouble what does the NHS help with.

The reality is I want to be a mum and there are only a few ways to achieve it - keep trying, go for tests and get IVF/IUI or adoption. So since testing is on hold, we are seriously considering adoption I am just sooooo scared that you most likely start with fostering before it gets to adoption and what if we raise a beautiful child for a year that we love and adore and the birth parents for whatever reason decide to take the child back or get the child back or whatever and then they are snatched from us I don't know if I could live with that kind of heartache. Also its a gruelling process they put you through to even get approved. So for now while we still on the fence for that we literally have no alternative but to keep trying naturally. But trust me I get fed up, I scream and shout and beg to understand what I have done to deserve this and why drug addicts can pop children out without trying I also get heartbroken and fed up I promise. But I want this so badly.

Lol have you found the thermometer yet?? Does it need disinfecting? Did you find it in the toilet or some other really weird place 🤣🤣🤣

@candycrush2298 everytime i type a long message on here is freezes and deletes haha! Thats why i have to try keep them short 😂

Yeah good idea I'll ask others the process. Its such a shame that fertility takes so long on the NHS. You have to try for a year, then its a year before you get seen. So upsetting. You have both had tests that appear normal so there's no reason why you couldn't conceive naturally. It just unfortunately takes some people longer than most. They say it happens when you dont try, makes sense but so hard not to think about it.

Haha yes i found it in a plastic tea pot 🤣🤣 i added my temp an hour ago just to get my chart started. Will take it to bed with me for the morning haha

candycrush2298 · 23/07/2020 20:46

@Kaybobx ahhh how freaken annoying lol!!! I would be mad if I typed a whole long thing out and it freezes on me and I got to start again.

Yeah think it will be good to get some insight and understand how it works. And yeah it is a really long process. Things don't move too quickly lol.

Yeah a lot of people who didn't have struggles say that. I can say with 100% confidence that its bull. Our first year of trying was natural unprotected sex without thinking about it had sex when we felt it which was often cuz ya know.... I enjoy it ☺ hehe. I didnt track a single thing other than my periods cuz I have always done that. Didnt bother with pregnancy tests if AF showed up then so be it barely even crossed my mind that there was a chance I could be pregnant each month. After a year I figured we needed to start doing something which is when the testing, doctors and all that jazz started so I can easily say that whoever says when you don't stress it happens never had to stress.

Whahahah brilliant!!!

@candycrush2298 its very annoying! Sometimes i think sod that I'm not replying now hahaha 🤣

Ahh I'm so glad you said that because i can not forget about it when I want it so bad. I'm literally obsessed hahaha!!

candycrush2298 · 23/07/2020 21:06

@Kaybobx I would be the same whahahaha!!!

Lol!!! So am I. I am now fully down the rabbit hole thats for sure. At least we have each other here that can vent and understand what each of us is going through.

Lol hubby walked in while I was showering and I was checking my cm and i was stretching it between my fingers it cant stretch a full inch yet and its still a bit white and he was like wtf are you doing so im like checking my mucus duh!!! And he was like wtf you are seriously weird so then I took it a step further and said look its not stretching enough yet maybe tomorrow and he shook his head laughed and walked out. Soooo funny!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

@candycrush2298 hahahaha!! Brilliant. Thats exactly what I'm like 🤣 i did it last cycle, he was brushing his teeth before bed and i was on the loo. I wiped and it was like thick string coming out of me. I was like look look look haha. Hubby said what the hell is that! 🤣 i picked it up with my fingers and he said your so wrong hahaha!!!

candycrush2298 · 23/07/2020 21:28

@Kaybobx whahahaah men are so lucky they only have one job ejaculate... thats their only job. We need to take our temps, take OPKs, stress, check out cm, symptoms and the list goes on. And they think we are weird 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 they have no idea😂

OP posts:
Kaybobx · 23/07/2020 21:44

@candycrush2298 its crazy to think how comfortable you get with each other over the years. Imaging doing that on a first date hahaha! You'd absolutely never of seen him again 🤣🤣🤣
Yeah they don't know how easy they have got it. Well my husband not so much lol. I need to try harder to get in the mood 🙈

candycrush2298 · 23/07/2020 21:49

@Kaybobx lol can you imagine?? Oh my goodness yes you definitely get comfortable. Imagine on your first date wow it would not end well lol!!

Yeah your hubby is patient that is for sure 🤣 definitely a keeper haha

@candycrush2298 aww you want to adopt. I am quite keen to adopt. However culturally it’s not accepted (I am indian). I have no idea why, it’s ridiculous.

Definitely give it a go though even if you have your own biological children. My husband completely disapproves. He says “once you have your own biological children you won’t love your adopted child like your own”. He also says your family won’t treat adopted children like they are yours. It’s a touchy subject in my household. Such a pity 😞

@Kaybobx hahahaha lol my mum did like it. I mean once she leaves home properly you won’t get that again 😔

Elakiya · 23/07/2020 22:09

@candycrush2298 because my CM never changes I ask my husband to feel around to see if he feels any egg white CM. He thinks I am super weird and never does it

candycrush2298 · 23/07/2020 22:20

@Elakiya yeah we are definitely thinking about it but yeah I am just so worried as the full adoption process (after the whole process of getting accepted to become an adoptive parent) can take up to two years and what if they take my baby away before the adoption goes through. Like how on earth does a person recover from that?

So sorry its such a touchy subject for you guys. That is tough. Adoption isn't for everyone and thats OK. I am not even sure I am strong enough I would be so paranoid and in constant fear they will take them away from me.

As for the biological/non biological that doesn't bug me at all. We discussed it and said we would see no difference.

My cm used to be fair not great but ok and then when my hayfever went out of whack that was me dry as anything. But since being on pregnacare and stopping the antihistamines I am getting so much CM and I am like yay youre working again. I can honestly say the pregnacare does help with cm as mine I cant remember when last it was this good. Last month was the first month in forever that I had ewcm.

Lol my hubby would also think I am mad if I asked him to feel around and see what its like 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

OP posts:
Elakiya · 24/07/2020 09:11

@candycrush2298 if the child's biological parents aren't alive would that pose less risk of them being taken away? Is there a way to ask for that? Also loads of people seem to adopt internationally, I don't know what the UK policies are for that though as I've only seen it happening in the States.

Lol ah okay then I am being a mega weirdo. But sometimes I get confused between is it dry or is it sticky? Is it watery or is it egg white lol!

candycrush2298 · 24/07/2020 09:23

@Elakiya I am not sure I don't know how much of a request you could put in you know. From a personal stand point yes if the birth parents were no longer in the picture that would definitely push me over the fence. One of the requirements is that you have to stop trying to conceive naturally and I am not quite ready to give up yet.

Lol I get confused between where its not quite watery but its not quite like hand lotion its in between so what is it watery or creamy then 🤣🤣🤣

OP posts:
candycrush2298 · 24/07/2020 09:58

@Elakiya @Kaybobx

So I found this on Dr Google regarding temps:

"Before ovulation, a woman's BBT averages between 36.1°C and 36.4°C. After ovulation, it rises between 36.4°C to 37°C."

So mine have been within the 36.1 and 36.4 range so I can safely say I am definitely not in my luteal phase hahahahaha that is all I can confirm with BBT at this point lol. It is still going all up and down though LOL!

@candycrush2298 what about my 35.41 result lol. I think I must have been half a sleep when I read it. I remembered to do it today too. I start OPK's and BD from tomorrow :). Have you started BD. I can't wait to see your graph when you ovulate. You'll be first so you have to show us :D
