@candycrush2298 yeah im all good thanks, i knew she was coming so not that disappointed. Just glad its here and out the way now. On the plus ovulation is now on my birthday so hopefully i get wined and dined and the romance does the trick hahaha

Gutted when you said Ava bracelet can’t be used for people with PCOS but then I have normal cycles so unsure if I should try lol! How much are they?

Ummm Ava is way more expensive than the temp drop its lik £250 but you can find used ones on ebay for way less.

As you can see mine is pretty darn useless 🤣🤣🤣

@Kaybobx I was asking if anyone has used it or if they think its a gimic.

It is a bracelet you wear to bed every night and it tracks your BBT so you don't have to remember to take it when you wake up it also tracks your heart rate, hormonal levels, sleep cycles and other things that a Fitbit or Apple watch will do. But its specifically for fertility it will tell you when your fertile window is when you peak and once you have ovulated (based on your BBT) and it also does great tracking for when you pregnant like track stress levels and things.

But its only good for women who have normal cycles and not recommended for PCOS becuase people with PCOS have a hormone imbalance so it could say oh you ovulated today but you didn't because your hormones are whack with PCOS or thats how I understand it lol.

This is a chart I found online of someone who got their BFP. See on "Skin Temperature" (bbt) had a dip and then increase higher than AF at the beginning of her cycle.... argh I so badly want to see that 🤣🤣

@Kaybobx lol I know I nearly died when I saw it lol!!! But ebay has some auctions on lol!! And the auctions on Ava seem better priced than the Temp Drop lol. Theres a cheaper alternative called Ovusense but its inserted like a tampon and not sure how I feel about sleeping with it in down there 🤣🤣🤣

But I am feeling optimistic about this month with the monitor and opks that I hope I won't need ava lol!!! Just hope that i can sleep properly with my mouth shut so my BBT is accurate

@candycrush2298 i have heard of that one. I don't like sleeping with tampons in though so not sure how I'd get on with it.
Im excited to try BBT this month, one step at a time haha. Not sure i understand it fully so going to try get my head around this first... aswell as putting my legs up after BD lol

@Kaybobx I dont understand it fully either but the gist knowledge I have is this.... after you ovulate your temp rise higher than it was before ovulation (from period to peak) and once it has risen about 3/4days that confirms that you defunitely did ovulate after your peak. If your temp drops again about the time af is due you can assume your not pregnant if it keeps rising then you can assume its time to start testing. Apparently not every woman has an implantation dip which I didnt know i thought everyone got it but anyway if your temp drops between 6-12dpo and then rises again that is likely implantation.

The actual temperatures of your body will vary from person to person it just needs to be lower in your follicular stage (from AF to peak) than in your luteal phase (after ovulation).

@Kaybobx so you see this persons chart (taken from Dr Google) it was erratic before ovulation but then started to rise and stayed high that confirms ovulation as progesterone causes your temp to rise. As you can see at 7dpo she had a huge dip and then went back up that was implantation.

Does that at least help make a little more sense to you?

@Kaybobx lol no worries we can all figure this out together hahahaah. I am so excited for all of us. I am definitely in the optimistic phase hahaha. I cant wait to see if I actually get a peak on this damn monitor and positive OPK and then hope that my damn temp rises too lol. I cant even wait.

Just found a tiny bit of almost ewcm so its coming in the next few days.

@candycrush2298 oh thanks for that, yes it makes more sense seeing it. Jeeze i didn't realise our temps fluctuated that much! Its really impressive can't wait to do it this month. Oooo excited for you to get going again, you're wayyy ahead of us all i think haha. The thought of that TWW again makes me want to crawl under a rock and hide 😂 hopefully being back at work will take my mind off it.

I know I am also excited to be in the fertile window and bd'ng definitely my favourite part of the cycle. I hate the TWW it feels like 10 million years hahahaha. I am so buzzed and excited and feel so optimistic this cycle that its definitely not going to be like last cycle where I didn't even think about it until 8dpo. I am going to be all over this cycle like a rash 🤣🤣

And yes I dont think anyone else is in their fertile window I am the odd ball 😵

We still have ReginaPhalange who is not too far in her fertile window. And mummyjojo that hasnt started AF yet so could still see one or two BFPs eeeeep!!
