Hello all. I had complained to my GP about my treatment with my initial PCOS diagnosis. Long story short, the male GP completely dismissed me but after 2 months of pain, I had a scan which a female GP arranged and I got my diagnosis. I had received my medical notes in the mean time and I've got a 30min appt tomorrow to discuss. She said she will even give me another scan..... I think this is because I complained about the treatment and they will want to make sure all is correct.

I'm glad I'm getting the scan as hopefully any issues will be seen and can get treated (if there is anything other than PCOS).

I did a pregnancy test today just to be certain and it was negative. I will be telling her that I got a previous very faint positive on Thursday and will show her the pics of the result.

@ReginaaPhalange great to hear from you. Please let us know when you get the results from the scan. I am glad they are doing scans for you and checking whats happening.

Maybe they can even do a progesterone test to make sure you ovulated? Based on the faint positive followed by the blazing OPKs.

Yeah that's what i say to hubby too, at least your getting some!! Hahaha!! We BD the whole of my fertile week, if you space that over a month thats a normal healthy relationship amount hahaha!!

The oldest mother I cared for had her first at 44 and second at 46.

@snapple21 Hey! Oh thanks, i feel better hearing that, although i feel old now haha. I had a csection with my first and my back has never been the same since. I think by 46 I'll need a walking stick never mind a child 🙈

I had my son at 24 and I'm 30 now and in much worse shape. I feel like losing a bit of weight my help things but I can't stop eating 😂

I'm glad 30 is young for having first child... I always worry I've left it too late. If I manage to conceive this year I'll be 31 when I have mine. Hopefully not older as I would like 2 before I'm 35😆 although I would be happy even having 1!

@snapple21 lol!!! If you're not crazy overweight, don't have PCOS I wouldn't worry too much. Obviously losing weight will always benefit your overall health. I enjoy snacking myself 🤣

@snapple21 lol 😆 so its a bracelet that you wear at night and it tracks your BBT so you don't have to remember to take it every morning, it also tracks your hormone levels to determine your fertile days and when you will ovulate and it tracks normal things like stress levels, sleep cycles etc (things that an apple watch or fitbit will do) it also tracks things during pregnancy.

But its only for people who have normal cycles (24-35 days) and is not recommended for people who have PCOS.

Hi ladies hope everyone is OK. So a new symptom has come and no sign of aunty flo yet. So basically the last 2 nights I have been woken up to a taste of puke in my mouth but just the taste. Has anyone else experienced this?' Xxx

The only thing I found was about a sour taste so I'm not sure I feel really sick today though so will just have to wait and see xx

@mummyjojo19 just having a think could the taste of vomit not be related to heartburn? Are you having any mild heart burn or indigestion as that is a common pregnancy symptom so was just throwing it out there lol
