Just a quick one, my first month doing OPKs and although I have a pretty regular cycle I have started on CD5. I was under the impression I should test morning and night however the morning tests are always so faint it seems a waste of time? I've started reading SMEP and it says only do evenings? Obviously I'm getting through a lot of tests so just wondering if anyone has ever got there positive OPK in the morning or if I should stick to late afternoon evening?

I've also bought some soy isoflavones to boost my ovulation this month. Done loads of reading up on it and hopefully this will help.

@zippityzip I’ve never heard of that I’ll have to look into it! I’m 1 week and 6 days since my positive OPK.. might rest in a bit. I have a backache and cramping in my vagina?! Sometimes I get this during AF so not sure if these are just PMS symptoms

@LT103 I'm too nervous to believe it.. trying to wait to do another one in a bit.. this was evening urine after only 2 hour hold!

Second test.. I honestly am in disbelief.. think I'm off to the shop to clear them of tests

@zippityzip thank you! I just can't believe it! I think the clear blue ovulation tests really helped as they gave me a definitive answer I was ovulating instead of squinting at a line on a cheap test

@bibs124 I definitely think I'm going to give them a go this cycle. How are you feeling? Really really pleased for you!

@zippityzip just in complete shock, I really thought I'd struggle to conceive ive no idea why I just had such a feeling.. I think in hindsight I'd probably convinced myself that was the case

@bibs124 Aw it's lovely to see such positive news. Have you told your DH yet?

@zippityzip yeah I told him last night when we got the faint line! I think for both of us it just doesn't feel real yet

So I have a OPK question. Always used CB digital, always get peak reading day 15 with high reading previous 3+ days. These were the readings I got TTC child no1 a few years back and these are the readings I've been getting since Jan this year. However last month I got no peak and this month I've had low (the faintest line when you eject the sti ck) day 13, 14, 15. I'm 31. Heeeelp!

32, even. Not that it matters haha! Not long had a birthday.

@Beepbeep42 can you think of anything that would be affecting your ovulation? Such as stress?
