Just a quick one, my first month doing OPKs and although I have a pretty regular cycle I have started on CD5. I was under the impression I should test morning and night however the morning tests are always so faint it seems a waste of time? I've started reading SMEP and it says only do evenings? Obviously I'm getting through a lot of tests so just wondering if anyone has ever got there positive OPK in the morning or if I should stick to late afternoon evening?

Thanks in advance

@LT103 That makes sense. I'm staying hopeful for you!!

LT103 · 03/08/2020 11:50

Thanks. I think it will just take time like for most people. Age maybe isn’t in my favour but oh is young enough haha so hopefully we’ll get there

BeeMakesTea · 03/08/2020 12:26

@LT103 no I haven’t tested yet. AF is due today, I had some cramps at the weekend so thought that was me out for this month but no sign so far today so keeping fingers crossed! If still nothing by tomorrow morning I’ll test then. Sorry AF showed for you, but that’s good that your progesterone levels were fine.
Hope you’re well @zippityzip

Pretty sure I’ve had a positive quite early in the day, I remember waking up and doing a test and it was very much positive.

BeeMakesTea · 04/08/2020 09:19

@LT103 Took a test this morning - BFN and then AF made an appearance shortly after, so not my month it seems either.

LT103 · 04/08/2020 17:46

Ah so sorry to hear that @BeeMakesTea. I get a bit rubbish when it started but I always do that first day. Now I’m motivated and excited for the next month!

bibs124 · 17/09/2020 12:29

Hope everyone is doing well!

Just wanted to say thank you to all you ladies who helped me read my OPKS etc. Had my scan yesterday and baby is perfect, currently 13 weeks. I might not of got here this soon without your help! Smile

@bibs124 I'm exactly 13 weeks too!

How is everyone else getting on?

@LT103 @BeeMakesTea @Beepbeep42 @Juno231 @Poppy10121 hope you're all well and have some exciting updates for us.

Juno231 · 23/09/2020 13:26

Gosh you two - well done for cooking those babes! @bibs124 @zippityzip What's the due date? Do you know/will you find out the s*x? (sorry - work laptop!)

I've got nothing to report - still plodding along without a single BFP. Just need OH to do an SA and we're getting referred to a fertility clinic after that.

BeeMakesTea · 23/09/2020 14:13

Lovely to hear from you @bibs124 and @zippityzip, so pleased everything is going well for you both! Eek 2nd trimester already, how exciting!

I do have some news actually- I got a BFP at the end of August so I’m currently 7 weeks! It’s been stressful as I’ve had 2 losses before this, but got a scan booked for next week so just keeping fingers crossed until then 🤞

bibs124 · 23/09/2020 15:05

@zippityzip glad all is well with you and baby Grin

@Juno231 good luck with your treatment moving forwards. Got my fingers crossed for you! I'm due 24th March so measuring a bit and ahead, definitely going to find out the gender however my partner is certain it's a girl.. we will see I guess!

@BeeMakesTea how exciting! Congratulations! Hope your scan goes well
