Hey girls as we are about to get thrown out of our thread I have started a new one so we can continue manically looking for EWCM, sore (.)(.)s and orange feet whilst chanting 'in with love, out with BFNs'.

Come on over/in

hey girls, i am in need of help.. so for the past two months AF has come on the 9th prior to that it was the end of the month! Anyway i usually get a bit of funny coloured yucky stuff (sorry TMI) before hand, anyway i had a bit of light coloured blood and then its been kinda weird discharge stuff today, but i am still over a week early?

i know i have no right to complain as its out first cycle ttc, i just wondered if this sounded weird to anyone or if i shouls just get over it!!

thanks

xx

Bucky2007 · 01/10/2007 20:48

lockets24 are you saying that you have had a bit of spotting about a week before AF is due with a bit of CM? If yes and the CM is kind of whitish it could be implantation.

OP posts:
lockets24 · 01/10/2007 21:13

The Cm is not really white its kinda dark, and looks like its pre period..i would love to think otherwise, but i have a feeling my period is just f*** up!

how the hell are you supposed to know when you are gonna ovulate when your period jumps around??

lockets my cycles have been all over the place (29, 31, 31, 37, 41) which is why I've just spent a small fortune on ovulation predictor kits. I needed to buy myself some peace of mind. I started testing on CD11 and finally got a positive on CD21. If I'd relied purely on looking for EWCM I'd be fooled into thinking I've had three seperate ovulations (triplets anyone?). But I've only had the smiley face once. Combined with checking my cervix position - now low and hard I know that the giant ovulation window has now closed and I can sit snugly in the 2ww.

Now I either get a BFP or I get to find out how long my luteal phase is (the number of days between ov and AF never changes apparently).

HTH,
dg x

btw - already got pre-af cramps but boobs not sore.

ClairePO · 01/10/2007 23:19

Right then, Bucky thank you have ordered vid, I'll send it on to you after I've watched it*

Soooooooo now can I have a beginners guide to finding what your cervix is up to please? If its too gynecological then just please skip though.

ClairePO · 01/10/2007 23:19

forgot to add:

  • I didn't really

Hello, can i join in?? Would be so lovely to have some support through this. No one in RL knows we are TTC and at moment dh is in the "well if it happens it happens" frame of mind, and doesn't like to dwell on it. Just started this TTC thing again - have 2 dc, 9 & 11, and now new dh & I would love a new addition. However, i am now sadly much older than before! 1st official month of trying - although you may have seen a previous thread of mine where i was desperately hoping a miracle may have occurred last month! I (think) i was fertile the end of last week, although i have only come off the pill a few weeks ago. So now on the 2ww - how do i wait until next week, when i can symptom spot in ernest!!

GryffinGirl · 02/10/2007 12:37

welcome madoldbird! The more the merrier.

CD18 for me (of a usual 28 day clockwork cycle) so think it will be a few days yet before i can legitimately start symptom spotting

spookykitty · 02/10/2007 12:48

hi madoldbird and welcome

CD26 for me AF due Thursday (BFN on CBD CD24 9days after on opks) so my phantom pregnancy symptoms are:

achey boobs especially the right one which is really weird
feeling sick intermittently during the day
loads of CM

am holding out testing until Thursday now and it is killing me argh................................................................................................ .....................................

GryffinGirl · 02/10/2007 12:59

hooray! We have some symptoms on the thread! Fingers crossed for the test on Thursday spookykitty

digitalgirl · 02/10/2007 14:29

oo! oo! I've just had a twinge in my right nipple!! does that count? I'm only 3dpo!

fingers crossed for thursday sk

TheMuppetMuggle · 02/10/2007 14:34

SK I know you can hold out for 2 more days

spookykitty · 02/10/2007 15:12

muppet - I bet you I hold out until Thursday night until DP gets home then it wioll be BFN and I will get AF on Friday, I'm not allowed to test unless DP is there (long story you probably read it)

DG - boob twinges def symptom

TheMuppetMuggle · 02/10/2007 15:17

Well SK means you can join me for First July Babies

digitalgirl · 02/10/2007 15:28

clairePO this is for you how to check your cervix position

GryffinGirl · 02/10/2007 15:38

does having a bloated stomach count as a symptom (of somehting other than me being a lardy cow )

madoldbird · 02/10/2007 16:31

bloated stomach definitely a symptom!! I have that already and am only 3 days PO!!

(...quickly hiding half eaten pack of cream crackers, butter, and remains of cheddar...)

Bucky2007 · 02/10/2007 16:35

Digitalgirl those instructions have traumatised me ...I'm not even sure my hand is long enough. I got as far as you might get diseases from sticking your hands up there (or something along those lines) and then fled. .

I just about manage to figure out what to do with a tampon! How can you EVER figure out what position your cervix is in? How do you know that's even what you are feeling? Is there anything else up there that it could be? Can a finger get into your womb by bypassing your cervix? . I guess if I finish reading the instructions I will know the answer to all my questions but I think I will go back to eating my Sensations at the moment and put it to the back of my mind due to my feelings of inadequacy . I am very impressed with your commitment digitalgirl. If you apply yourself in this way to all things in life you must be a very successful woman .

That said thank you for the information. I think I will give up coffee successfully first before pursuing my cervix. ClairePO please let us know how you get on.

OP posts:
Excitable · 02/10/2007 16:54

Excitable is mystified by the cervix spotting and worried that if she pursues her cervix, it might never come back...

spookykitty · 02/10/2007 16:57

sweetkitty has had a 6lbs 3ozs followed by a 9lbs 3ozs baby though hers in 18 months, her cervix has upped and left home never to return!

Excitable · 02/10/2007 16:59
Shock
digitalgirl · 02/10/2007 17:05

LOL!! Cervix checking definitely isn't for the faint-hearted. TBH, I don't do it often and when I do it's usually in the shower (minimise diseases!). But it helped me to draw a line under my ovulation day. Was getting so confused with CM. I probably won't go near it until next cycle now, don't want to go prodding around dislodging anything that may or may not be there! However, DH doesn't seem to mind prodding around up there
