Hey girls as we are about to get thrown out of our thread I have started a new one so we can continue manically looking for EWCM, sore (.)(.)s and orange feet whilst chanting 'in with love, out with BFNs'.

Come on over/in

CONGRATULATIONS mylittleelouise thats fantastic!

ClairePO lol - I thought so! We would have too!.

Hello everyone else. Excited as some great symptoms and we should get some BFP's soon.

biglips · 06/11/2007 13:56

mylittleeloise CONGRATS!!! ...blimey and theres you thinking the TEW was on its way!

did a shopping therapy before (foods wise) and i feel alot better now! .

pixie04 · 06/11/2007 14:16

Congratulations mylittleeloise so so pleased for you.

I have an extra symptom:

constipation (sorry tmi)

I think it's more likley I've had some kind of bug.

digitalgirl · 06/11/2007 14:26

Wow!
Congrats MLE That's brilliant news!

I am officially to be ignored in asking what 'symptoms' mean. I'm sure I told one of the other ladies (was it mcchesers?) in the waiting room to leave it a few days when she complained of loads of CM, she quite rightly ignored me and did a test and got a BFP.

bucky low temps mean I'm still pre-ov. Some women get a even lower dip on the day of O and then it shoots up the next day after O. I don't think my dip means anything though, I'm expecting to have at least three days of a soft high cervix and EWCM before I ov.

So who's testing next??

GryffinGirl · 06/11/2007 14:28

Brilliant news mylittleeloise! so happy for you

CD27 today....do i test, do i test??? or wait until CD29 when I will be a day late

madoldbird · 06/11/2007 14:30

Good afternoon everyone.

mylittleeloise that's wonderful!! Great to hear some good news - Congratulations

sarahnh sorry about the BFN again. Good on you for your happy mood, though. I hope now, that if TEW is going to turn up on your doorstep, then she does so soon, so you can move on to the next cyle and look forward to the next round of BDing!

pixie those do sound good symptoms. How long are you going to hold out for until testing?!

I have to say i'm feeling a bit fed-up this afternoon. Not sure when to expect a visit from TEW as last 2 cycles after coming off the pill have been 26 and 28 days, though as i had a smiley face last monday this one might be slightly longer. I have the usual big and tender (.)(.) that i get every month, and have had some achey pains low down, but it may well just be wind!! DH is almost as obsessed as me with symptom spotting this month, and keeps peering at my boobs to check for changes! He got very excited as i felt very sick after dinner on sunday, but i tried to point out to him that i'd just eaten too much pudding!!!
I think i just hate this part of the cycle - early on i can have the lovely "this will be the month" thoughts plus the anticpation of all the BDing! Now, however, crunch time is approaching. Sorry to moan, everyone, don't know what has got into me.
Hope everyone else is doing OK. Let's hope for some more BFP's soon!

coolkat · 06/11/2007 16:05

Afternoon ladies, congrats mylittleloise.

Sorry to hear about your BFN Sarahn - you can join me on the 'what the bloody hell is my body doing wait!' I am waiting until the weekend and if AF does not arrive I will test again.

Well no other syptoms besides the usual achey boobies and feeling light headed but like said yesterday I think I have to realise these are symptoms pre AF and I just have to get used to them ... or do I?!

Are you going to test soon Pixie? Symptoms all sound promising.

coolkat waves to other 2ww'ers - hope your all well... Bye for now.

pixie04 · 06/11/2007 16:47

Hello all

malodbird obviously being a bit emotional is because of your hormones because you must be PG. feeling a bit achey is also a good sign. If you got your + OPK last monday you'll be due around next Monday so its a bit early for AF cramps. Your DP sounds great I wish mine would join in with the symptom spotting he just thinks I'm a hypercondriac

hello.

My period is due in days and I am getting a taste as if I am chewing wire in my mouth! Feeling very tired. breasts haven't hurt really but I just generally feel weird. Who knows if it's a baby!

07mumstheword · 06/11/2007 21:49

GG Split the difference and test CD28 with FME that's if you've got a PG test in your cupboard.

Sorry you're feeling MOB It is amazing how many emotions you can go through in one month, real ups and downs, thats what MN is here for so don't feel bad for saying how it really is for you today.

Beaniesteve Matal mouth and generally feeling weird sounds hopeful!

madoldbird · 07/11/2007 08:48

Ooh! GG test today! test today!! Of course, you must report back immediately as well!

Pixie thank you - you cheered me up, it's good to think that my emotionality (is that even a word??) yesterday is a symptom, and not just me being a grumpy old bag! Yes, it's great having DH really excited and symtom watching with me this month. He was asking when we could test, this morning, and i said that i was worried about him getting really disappointed, but he said he would just start looking forward to the next cycle of trying - and try ever harder!!

Thank you also 07MTW for letting me moan, it really does help, doesn't it, to offload here. Also, i am pleased to hear you have been going for it, as it were! (i think that was on the other thread)

beaniesteve yes - sounds like good symptoms!!

Good morning to everyone else

Well, i feel much better this morning. I don't really seem to have any symptoms at all really today, even the (.)(.) are less tender today, and i don't have the nausea that i have had in the past couple of 2wws. Am hoping that this means that my body is now settling down after the pill, and i have decided i am now going to be a calm, serene (but still mad) old bird and concerntrate on eating healthily and keeping fit and hopefully it will happen at some point.

Have to confess, though, that i am going to go and buy tests this morning, though, as i am going to see a client who lives quite a way from me, so i can go into chemists / supermarkets etc, without being known! Do NOT let me use them yet!!

Have a good day everyone.

pixie04 · 07/11/2007 10:08

Morning All!

How is everyone today?

I'm joining madoldbird am feeling a little bit symptomless today. I have some pain in the side of my right boob (.) but for the last three cycles have gotten this pain for the few days running up to AF so am thinking she may be on the way. I did get the same hungover sickness in my tummy yesterday afternoon/evening though which was a bit strange. I was very tired from about 9.30pm last night, but today I am fine and really not very much to tell.

So who is testing soon?

sarahnh has AF turned up yet?

Where's my cycle buddy excitable? I am going to go and search for her....

DG, Bucky how are you both?

sarahnh · 07/11/2007 10:09

morning ladies, anyone testing today? Pixie how are those symptoms coming along? Well AF definitely on her way, i had such bad pains last night i felt like i was in labour!!! Still no AF but hoping that she makes an appearance very soon so i can plan for next month!xxx

GryffinGirl · 07/11/2007 10:12

ok update, CD28 today, couldn't resist the urge to test any longer

No sign of AF yet today, although I had bad cramps on the tube on the way home last night so I thought, "Hey ho, that's TEW on her way. It's not my month this time " and gave up. But, by this morning, there's still no sign of AF and not even a wee spot in my kecks. Cramping has stopped too.

Sooooo, I did a PGT this morning with my first wee of the day (thanks starlight ). It was another Boots one, it was all I had but the control line didn't work -nothing in the second window!!! Seriously. AGAIN .

I am not joking [sincere emoticon]. Regular readers of my rambling postings here will remember that this happened two months ago when I was on tenterhooks with another crappy, rubbishy, load of b*llocks Boots test failing me in my hour of need . To anyone else out there testing, don't use the damn things! Of course, I could be using them wrong, but how difficult can it be to pee on a stick ?!? I have two degrees FGS, so you'd think I could manage to master the not-very-difficult technique by now! Didn't hit the window, kept to 5 seconds yadda yadda.

oh yeah, and I have a rotten cold.

Don't know about you, but I am probably going to turn into one of those mad fantasist types who have phamtom pregnancies and walks about with a cushion up her top pretending to be PG. I am going to have to STOP symptom spotting and driving myself mad and return to my debauched days of being too busy, drunk and/or partied out to know anything about my cycle or EWCM or cervical persuits.

i MIGHT try again later this evening or tomorrow morning if Af doesn't turn up. You, my on line friends, will be the first to know (before DH )

pixie04 · 07/11/2007 10:14

Oh sarahnh sorry to hear you've been having so much pain. I have endo so I understand how painful it can be. I went up to hospital in early august because I was having labour style pains and the doc did her inspection and said it's just your endo playing up. I thought maybe something had burst or broken I was in agony here have some ibuprofen on me. If you need any more I have a handbag full on me at all times

sarahnh · 07/11/2007 10:14

oh gg you poor thing!! what a nightmare, definitely test again tonight if AF doesn't rear her ugly head, finger crossed ((hugs))

GryffinGirl · 07/11/2007 10:15

erm...reading that back when I say "wee spot in my kecks" I don't mean that I pee my pants. I mean "little spot" of blood. Sorry, it's 'cause I'm Scottish

sarahnh · 07/11/2007 10:17

thanks pixie, i am begining to think that i may have endo i get af cramps on and off all month and the pain last night was horrible.. at least when you are having a baby you can see an end result, all i had was pain dizzyiness and feeling very yuck!!! however i am determined to be a happy camper and not let it get me down!!

pixie04 · 07/11/2007 10:19

GG am for you about those faulty tests it's ridiculous. Take it back and get a refund. If your too embarassed to take it into the shop then post it off but get your money back. If I were you I'd try peeing in a cup that way you know you'll have submerged the absorbant tip for the correct length of time. Do another test tomorrow am if TEW hasn't shown up.

Here have some cold remedies to try oh and some soft tissues. Hope you feel better soon.

sarahnh I tend to get a lot of painful cramps from a few days after OV till about the 3rd day into AF. Endo can be helped considerably by getting pregnant. Being pregnant releases hormones that supress the condition for some women it doesn't return after childbirth for others it does and other treatments are needed. take a look at www.endo.org.uk there is a lot of information on there for you to look at. Getting a diagnosis of endo can take some time so if you suspect you may have it you should push your GP to reffer you. Because I am ttc I'm not having any treatments only pain management but I still see a gyne to answer my questions I find it puts my mind at rest. It's a lot of pain to go through. I have talked to lots of ladies who have had children and have endo and they agree that sometimes the pain is as bad as being in labour.

Sorry for the mega post but you all know how I love to rattle on

sarahnh · 07/11/2007 10:29

thanks pixie will check out the site xxx

digitalgirl · 07/11/2007 11:01

hello all,

GG that's a pain. Stupid Boots and their stupid broken tests . I'd go and get a CBD and test tomorrow morning. Have a big mug of hot chocolate on me.

sarah sorry you're still waiting...can be so frustrating, especially when the cramps are painful. pixie's full of great advice so stick with her!

mob glad you're feeling better this morning. symptoms or no symptoms, we can all still hope!

pixie still sick and tired? looking good for you!

well I'm a little bit annoyed this morning. my lazy arsed sister left the heating on all night, so it woke me up at 5.30 - hot and needing a wee. Thrown my temp chart off as you're supposed to have a least 3 hours continuous sleep before taking it. EWCM seems to have disappeared this morning too...so will try my hardest not to obsess about CM today.
