Hey girls as we are about to get thrown out of our thread I have started a new one so we can continue manically looking for EWCM, sore (.)(.)s and orange feet whilst chanting 'in with love, out with BFNs'.

Come on over/in

Deb glad your not feeling so stressed out today!

katendmom · 30/09/2007 15:07

Oh I am sorry SK... nothing like this monthly disappointment. HOWEVER, 5 days might be WAY too early... So I am crossing everything for you!

You go, Deb, the strong woman you're!

Well, I think hanging out on this thread has officially gotten to me and in my head. Yesterday I noticed a more intense sense of hunger (I have been polishing the fridge for a couple of days), a bit of upcoming thrush (sorry for TMI ) and I think my sense of smell has gone up a notch since this morning... All the symptoms that I got with my last pg.

Now surely this isn't possible, is it? I mean my D&C was just on September 13... Yeah... it's just reading about all symptoms makes me "feel" like I have them. I'm sure

Bucky2007 · 30/09/2007 16:31

ClarePO...I just read your personal info and we are very similar. I am 35 with no kids, live in Herts (not beds but close) I commute into London every day. I mc on the 17 September 2006 at 9.5wks baby only developed to 6 weeks. Edd was April 2007, my partner and I are petrol heads although sport motorbikes are his thing and I am addicted to MotoGP. I even like the same books as you and bake..could go on. It's quite strange .

Afternoon to the rest of the gang...sorry to make you read all my personal info stuff, but I don't think you can post private messages on here can you?

Happy weekend!

Mine has been spent packing boxes. I never realised how much rubbish I had gained in a year - I'm guessing that's why I'm POOR!! And I managed to rip the wing mirror off the car, which will make me poorer still!

I'm pleased I've decided to hold off the ttc at the mo as everthing has been so stressful that it probably wouldn't be doing me much good right now if I was pg. I was due to exchange contracts three weeks ago - we move friday and they still haven't exchanged! They're on about doing a silmultaneous exchange on the da itself. Joy.

Anyhow, lots of love and magic babydust to you all. Missing you and hope to be back amongst the ranks of the symptom spotters before to long . xxxxx

PicknMix · 30/09/2007 18:37

Abbymeg!!!! Hello there! Sorry to hear the move is proving to be a bit stressful - I've moved house 4 times in the last 3 years and I just simply hate it now! I still have boxes left over from the first time we moved and they haven't been unpacked yet... Good luck and hope the exchange goes ok (fingers crossed for you)

SK I'm sorry to hear about the bfn but am with everyone else and am hoping its just way too early.

Well, I've just 'made' my DH pop back from work in order to bd - he's working 3 shifts in a row so left house at 7am and not due back til 10pm tomorrow! I simply suggested to him that I thought today might be the day (due to ewcm) and he jumped in the car!! After it was all over he kissed my belly "just incase there's someone in there" and then left!

ClairePO · 30/09/2007 19:06

Bucky - that's spooky LOL I used to live in Herts, in Hertford itself, lovely place but house prices are a bit ouchy! I'm on the herts border now so maybe not far from you at all. Lets hope that next summer we'll both be on our maternity leave and can meet up for coffee and baby gazing!

Picknmix your post made me laugh so much but DH very sweet also!

Like you, abbymeg, I managed to prang the car. No-one hurt but car battered and bruised and one v. unamused DH. That and my hopeful symptoms turning out to be the start of a cold. Great weekend!

Still, my boobs are definitely still big (only comparatively though...however this is prob. that I've put on a bit of weight recently) and I think they may be starting to feel tender... That was about the only symptom I had for at the start of my last pg, so a glimmer of hope left. I know deep down it's not though. Hey ho.

Sorry to hear about your BFN Sweet Kitty. I'm north of the border too. Where are you?

Bucky2007 · 30/09/2007 20:58

Abbeymeg you came back to see us . Glad your ok, we miss you and I especially miss my cycle buddy!

Hello ladies,
Hope you all had lovely weekends. sk sorry for bfn they're rubbish, but there's PLENTY of time for a BFP to turn up. picknmix what a lovely DH you've got.
Good luck for tomorrow muppetmuggle!

DG waves to newcomers over the last couple of days!

Well I had a fabulous time in manchester. what a great city! And, AND, AND most importantly, after Friday's drive up there i did an Clearblue Digital opk - having realised my 'positive' on wednesday was no such thing (just an evap line). Got a bloomin' smiley face!!!! Never thought I'd see such a thing. On CD21!!!!! I was sooo pleased. I am fertile! So we bd'ed at every opportunity and now it's all down to chance. Even if it doesn't happen this month, i'll know that we haven't bd'ed in vain.

At least I know when to expect AF now, last month I started hpt testing on CD27...this time I shall test on CD36, the 13th (or maybe the 14th if I chicken out because I hate bfns).

I am officially on the 2ww.

dg x

penguinmum · 01/10/2007 08:38

congrats on your smiley DG! fingers crossed for you.

Well, AF arrived here yesterday. Surpirsingly am not too down about it, I kind of expected it really given my traumatic month of ttc! DH has promised to perform better this cycle!

Anyway, this is bound to be the one cos my due date will be 4 days after my birthday - it would be just my luck to be in labour on my birthday!!

Bucky2007 · 01/10/2007 08:53

How exciting digitalgirl . I think you have definitely increased your chances for this month! Makes me want to run out and start peeing on sticks!

What are you using? CBD stuff? I am sure you have already said, I am too lazy to scroll through all the threads

The madness goes on. Now CD30, of a usual 28-day cycle, and have been feeling v weird - funny in the head, sicky, buzzy lips, and twinge-ing pains, just like I did when last pregnant. Convinced myself I'm up the duff. Then this morning slight bit of 'brown'. Now nothing. Haven't done a test yet, as too scared of result, either positive or negative.

Am supposed to be taking my 'team' out for morale-boosting lunch, but just want to go to sleep...

digitalgirl · 01/10/2007 11:29

Ooo herbaceous buzzy lips sounds exciting!

bucky I was doing Clearblue Digital opks - which by the end of it, were much more reliable than the Boots cheapo ones. However, CBD are troppo troppo expensive if you buy them in the shops. I bought a couple of packs off eBay (in the hope that buying too many packs would mean I wouldn't need them all!)

Today symptoms are: continuing ov-type pains quite low down. Nausea, on passing the Subway sandwich shop (which isn't that unusual). And feeling so tired I fell asleep on the bus into work despite having had 8 hours sleep last night.

digitalgirl · 01/10/2007 11:41

ok.....just got loads of EWCM again (which was mysteriously absent over the weekend despite the smiley). WTF is going on?

Does this mean I've not ov'ed yet? Is this why I've still got ov pains?

Last BD was yesterday morning. Will try again tonight, just in case. Balls, I thought I'd know when to test. Might have to wait till Oct 20th (cd42).

Bucky2007 · 01/10/2007 11:58

dg CD42!!! Wow, that must take uber discipline. I thought my stupid CD31 was long!

OP posts:
digitalgirl · 01/10/2007 14:38

yes...I say that now...come CD36 and I'll be ripping open the plastic wrapping on test packet

just 'checked' my cervix position and it feels low hard and closed which means I'm post ovulation. dont understand why I would get EWCM after ov - i must be a freak of nature.

GryffinGirl · 01/10/2007 15:03

If anyone can tell me the "rules" of EWCM, and what is means and when, I'd be very grateful! I had it for three days last week and DH and I took advantage of the situation . It disappeared, only for the EWCM to re-appear for another three days later in the week. So we took advantage of the situation again

BUT, now I am panic stricken that the two lots of EWCM means I ovulated twice and I am destined to be the mother of twins, which is about the only thing more scary than the thought of getting another BFN this month .

Oh, and I caught DH looking at mumsnet at the weekend . I am not sure if DH has guessed my MN name (not a huge stretch for him TBH) and is keeping tabs on me and the thread, or whether he was just curious about MN. I have raved about what a good site it is, but didn't expect him to look at the TTC threads to be honest and now I'm a little about it because he found this thread.

herbaceous · 01/10/2007 15:31

Grrr. Now more in the way of aunt-flo-style carry on. But still feel terrible. And have done for a week. Please don't let 'feeling like shit, and pregnant' be a new PMS symptom.

I was so convinced this month, too...

Bucky2007 · 01/10/2007 15:45

ooh Gryffingirl I'm not sure how I would feel if DP looked at MN. He knows my MN name as its the same as my other computer account names, some of which he uses. I guess if its innocent and your DH is just curious it's quite sweet. Even if he is checking up on you, he will probably be too traumatised by the amount of EWCM to get far....

I think EWCM seems to have a mind of its own though as lots of people seem to have random occurences!

OP posts:
GryffinGirl · 01/10/2007 16:13

Bucky - DH is not really the snooping, check-up-on-you type. I honestly think he looked because I have MN in my favourites on the laptop at home and I have been saying how much I love the MN threads and how much it has taught me (about EWCM and other stuff ) but it does make me feel that he may have guessed my username and posts and may have been reading this. I'd feel if he overheard me gossiping with my friends in this way because I know he feels TTC is private and intimate and between us (typical man attitude, where as I definitely have a "femaile" brain). It's not that there are secrets, I tell him everyhting I would say to you lot on here, but he'd be uncomfortable how honest I am with you lot - my cyper pals - and I'm uncomfortable making him uncomfortable. Not sure if that made sense.

digitalgirl · 01/10/2007 16:29

i gave up on hiding my MN addiction to DH a long time ago. he knows my name on here. His job's not desk based so i can't see him having the time to trawl through all the threads to find everything I've written!! I think he's just pleased I'm sharing this level of detail with unseen friends as opposed to having to face my girlfriends down the pub with them knowing how many times we did it over the week and if there was EWCM involved.

PicknMix · 01/10/2007 18:20

My DH knows about my addiction to MN but, as far as I know he hasn't looked on here yet - the closest he got to seeing a thread was when someone was talking about something particularly icky and I think it might have scared him off a bit!!!

I think he realises that if I have MN I can feed my addiction to this ttc malarky without getting too obsessive in RL. Well, thats the theory anyway......!

CD16 today and still have ewcm - seems a bit early considering last month was a 45 day cycle but I'm gonna make the most of it!! Am intending to keep on bding for the next couple of weeks to cover all bases - if DH can keep the stamina up

ClairePO · 01/10/2007 19:34

I read the funnier comments out to my DP I do hope he doesn't snoop though

I don't have any symptons but then again if I did ov then it was only in the last few days. I'm also going to do some research into EWCM as it's not something I've ever taken notice of before. SO many things left to learn about in life............

Bucky2007 · 01/10/2007 20:26

ClairePO I cannot let the opportunity to pass on my wonderful website find...all you need to know about CM. I found this in the last thread and had myself in stitches laughing like a mad banshee woman for hours, trying to imagine who would buy the video.

Also, www.askdramy.com is quite cool too.
