morning ladies
went to the docs for my gynae referral today (to get to the root of my long cycles). she was remarkably helpful, just went straight to it, no stalling or anything. have picked the hospital closest to me where it's a lot more chilled out than the main A&E hospital.
DH has also booked me an appointment with a fertility acupuncturist for next monday. am hoping they can help balance my hormones, they certainly helped to get my friend's lesbian sister pregnant with her second IVF treatment! pixie will let you know how it goes, maybe it's something you can do too.
Am feeling very positive today. CD9 and my temps are still low, much lower than pre-AF so that should mean that my 15/16 day luteal phase was working as normal.
Have also adjusted to the fact that it may take a few more months to get PG, if I'm honest with myself I was hoping it would happen immediately. I've now accepted that I'm going to have to be very patient and keep on having lots of great sex. We've been saving up for my time off, so the longer it takes the more money we'll have and the longer I can have off.
Saying that, I'm hoping I ov within the next 10-12 days. Would be nice to have a relatively normal length cycle for once!
MLE looking very good for you.
GG glad you had a lovely weekend. you testing day AF is due or waiting till the weekend?
sarah I got a positive opk on CD20 then didn't get AF till after CD50. If your cycles are irregular then it's best not to trust the opks.
mtw even though we're cycle buddies I think you'll be racing ahead and ov'ing much before I do! Good luck chasing the egg!
hi to bucky, starlight, shreksm, lips and coolkat!
