Hey girls as we are about to get thrown out of our thread I have started a new one so we can continue manically looking for EWCM, sore (.)(.)s and orange feet whilst chanting 'in with love, out with BFNs'.

Come on over/in

Forgot to say thanks to PicknMix for being so sweet and thinking of coming to sit with me last night. Its the thought that counts and you were all 'virtually' here which made loads of difference.

Thanks v. much again to all of you. x

Glad your Okay Bucky hope my post didn't sound patronising " poor you ect" Was just worried I've thought about becoming a CSI person I think of it everytime I watch the programme

I'm now CD 7 so am using the OPK's. I'm not in the 2ww any more but I love this thread so I'm staying too if that's ok.

DG glad your going to the doc's hopefully they'll be able to give you some answers. The lady who did my scan last night asked if I'd had my hormones checked because of my irregular periods. I haven't but I think she's going to reccomend it to my consultant. Maybe you could ask your GP to take a look at yours?

07mumstheword · 17/10/2007 11:12

I went Christmas shopping last night and just catching up on MN now. OMG Bucky how awful. Through all my and horror I then read that they left the essentials like hair straigheners & kettle. LOL. You seem to be handling it so well. I'm glad they left your PC so you could have MN support, who needs a tele with MN?

pixie what a relieve. Glad your appointment went so well.

DG Hope GP is helpful on Friday. I'm due to see my GP tomorrow and Ive made a list of questions. God help her!!

pixie04 · 17/10/2007 11:29

07MTW Lists of questions are great I do them before every consultation because otherwise I forget what I want to ask or tell the doc.

07mumstheword · 17/10/2007 11:32

I've had to wait 3.5 wks for this appointment! It was supposed to be to confirm my BFP but I started bleeding a few days later. (this has happened twice in 6 months, BFP then bleed within a couple of wks ) I so want some answers but I have a feeling I will just be told to be patient. Still I'm doing something about it and I'm armed with my list of questions.

digitalgirl · 17/10/2007 12:06

sorry to hear that's happened twice mtw, that really sucks.

I am not looking forward to the doc telling me to 'relax' and 'not think about it' like everyone else says. How the hell am I supposed to 'not think' about the most important life-changing decision I've ever made??? Besides, I've done everything I can this month to relax. We've kept ourselves gently amused over the weekends, I've done my best to not turn into a raging harpy despite my cycle meesing me about (again). We've had loads of great sex and my relationship with DH is at a really good place. What else is there?

PicknMix · 17/10/2007 12:13

Pixie pleased the appt went ok, lovely to have some positive answers.

Bucky I think I would have stacked the (left over) contents of my house against the door too if I had just been burgled - I had the same attitude when I lived in a flat once until I realised that if there was a fire I'd be blocked in - oops!

My friend once went on the MI5 website and took their test to see if she would make it as a 'special agent'.... Needless to say she failed (she has an inability to keep her mouth shut so would prob blurt out the countries top secrets inadvertantly)!

All appt's sounds like a positive step - dg and mtw and lists are a must.

As for me - turns out af had simply left to go and get the rest of her bags. She returned this morning and has well and truely set up camp . Am gutted for obvious reasons but even more so because Nov is out for ttc whilst we are away (staying with family). The only saving grace is that my temps seem to be text book like so think my body has adjusted from the mc in Jan. Will be organising a trip to the dr when I get back from Oz though I think (I was told I had PCOS last yr and would prob find it v difficult to concieve).

07mumstheword · 17/10/2007 12:40

DG Sounds like you are in a good place at them moment, fingers crossed for a BFP icing on the cake soon.

picknmix Bloody evil witch!! Hope you enjoy Oz, if the family leave you alone for 5 minutes perhaps you could squeeze one in? A baby conceived in OZ?

ClairePO · 17/10/2007 15:02

AF arrived for me too, so no symptom spotting for a few weeks but will still hang around if that is OK, its very educational

Told DP about AF and he is happily working out when he needs to be 'active'

digitalgirl · 17/10/2007 15:08

ClairePO - glad you can start working out best bd'ing time! Hopefully AF won't hang around for too long, then you can start ov-spotting!

picknmix booo, hiss to TEW. Stealth shagging in oz could be loads of fun!

pixie04 · 17/10/2007 16:04

DG saw you on the other thread, hope the whole job thing works out for you. I wouldn't worry too much about it. If you decided to go with the new job and get your BFP they'll just have to deal with it. Take a look at their Maternity pay though. BTW when are you next doing a HPT?

spookykitty · 17/10/2007 16:12

hello again I can officially "come over" again tomorrow as I will be on the 2ww then

Bucky2007 · 17/10/2007 16:20

Hey I stick around here constantly...why is everyone worried about posting when they are not doing the 2ww. Am I missing something? . I would miss everyone one if they went away for half the month. I am probably breaking MN protocol or something but aren't rules made to be broken .

OP posts:
Bucky2007 · 17/10/2007 16:21

And DG where is the job news??? you know I am dying to find out what happened at lunch...

OP posts:
Excitable · 17/10/2007 16:33

Yeah, DG where are you?

Bucky can't believe the stinking burglars have been at your place. Hate them all! My friend got burgled and they picked through his CDs and only left him with half of them. He was really upset about the ones that they'd left behind! Hope your DP is back today - what a shitter. You deserve the next BFP, I reckon.

pixie04 · 17/10/2007 19:39

I agree with bucky I'd miss everyone if we had to leave the thread until we'd ovulated.

DG come and tell us the news.

pixie04 · 17/10/2007 19:40

Excitable How ya doing cycle buddy, what are we now CD 7? How long are your cycles normally?

Excitable · 17/10/2007 20:02

Hi Cycle Buddy - I am bored of the first week. I had a period that only lasted a day and a half and feel a bit cheated that my body didn't distract me from the boring first week of my cycle like it normally does!

My cycles have both been 28 days since I came off the pill (cue DH saying, well that's what they're supposed to be, isn't it? Like this is a Maths lesson )

BDing starts tonight, now it gets interesting - hooray!

pixie04 · 17/10/2007 20:35

My last cycle was 35 days so I'm going to start BDing this weekend.

Is it just me or do any of you guys not do it just for fun anymore?

DP and I haven't done it just for fun in months.

Maybe that's the problem

So (to be completely OFF topic) I was offered a job in another start-up...but working with a much bigger team and some of those people i've worked with before and they are brilliant. Before I decide, I have to do a bit more research and digging around make sure it is actually what he says it is. Also, waiting to see what money he's offering.

If I'm pg now (highly unlikely) I'll be three months by the time he gets round to offering me a contract...I'll have to tell him.

If I'm not then, god knows how long it'll take and I wouldn't want to turn down a good offer only to spend the next year still TTC.

Am a bit , I read earlier on another thread that if cycles are longer than 40 days then it's highly unlikely that I'm ovulating

Maybe this is why I've been offered a job, fate is trying to ease the pain of FTC

07mumstheword · 17/10/2007 21:59

Pixie lol. My DH says I only use him now! He has a very selective memory as we do have the odd "fun" session but there are many more functional ones

Now, I'm CD17 and I'm making up symptoms already my (.)(.) have grown Honestly they feel bigger is this possible so early?? Nothing else yet but I'm sure I'll come up with more imaginary symptoms over the next few days. This 2ww is tough.

I agree about hanging around here I couldn't go away for two weeks, I love reading what everyone's up to!

07mumstheword · 17/10/2007 22:09

High DG Crossed posts. Could this be a case of sods law? When are you due to test? Could you bank yourself a month if you get a BFN? Hope you don't though! Of course it depends on what you find out during your research and what money he's offering? Sorry to hear you are but you have a doctors appt on Fri so hopefully the medical advice will be different.

digitalgirl · 17/10/2007 22:19

wasn't going to test till saturday, but thinking I should probably do one before the docs appt on friday. I don't have any symptoms anymore.
are they likely to have tests at the surgery? I'd rather not waste my CB digital when I know it's going to be a bfn.
