Hey girls as we are about to get thrown out of our thread I have started a new one so we can continue manically looking for EWCM, sore (.)(.)s and orange feet whilst chanting 'in with love, out with BFNs'.

Come on over/in

Aw bless your all sooo sweet. I feel rather calm about it, kind of. I am a bit jumpy with noises and am waiting for 'Eric' the locksmith who should be here soon apparently. My next door neighbour who I have never spoken to came round and offered me a TV! bless, the police went door to door to see if anyone saw anything so he came round to see if he could help. I am shocked by how kind everyone is, including you guys .

I've never been burgled before it sucks. They just took all the electrical goods and this will make you laugh. I asked DP to get me a chocolate when he went out for bread last night...he came back with TWO BOXES in true man style. Anyway I ate 2 chocolates and left them on the table. They ATE my chocolates and threw the wrappers on the floor .

Bucky2007 · 16/10/2007 22:04

The police put it on the police report because apparently SOCO have to take it as evidence. He said they probably wouldn't catch them though.

Has anyone heard from Pixie yet? I hope she is ok. Don't you think its weird they did not steal my PC. Its a bit hidden but they went through everything, so why not take it?

OP posts:
digitalgirl · 16/10/2007 22:11

am outraged that they ate your chocolate

(maybe the PC was too heavy?)

PicknMix · 16/10/2007 22:17

They ate your chocolate?! Thats truely bad. On the one hand am amzed that they had the audacity to even think to eat it, on the other - they ate your chocolate!!!!

When are the police back to do their detective bit?

Am pleased your feeling quite calm at the mo. When is your dp due back? Is there someone who can spend the night with you or will you be ok? (where do you live?)

PicknMix · 16/10/2007 22:19

Am sure they left behind pc as was too heavy/difficult to unplug/awkward etc. (although its also prob easy to trace a pc back to its owner nowadays so not worth the hassle to nick)

Bucky2007 · 16/10/2007 22:31

Its not THAT old LOL . They must have filled a van with all the stuff, so I don't think it was the size I think they might have got scared off before they got to it. Anyway at least its still here I guess.

DP is back tomorrow Claire PO

Sorry this isn't very ttc on topic is it...

Whilst all this has been happening however my tits have been hurting, it might be a bit more painful than last month, not sure. .

Bucky2007 · 16/10/2007 22:33

Sorry I was half way through posting when Eric the locksmith turned up so cross posted with you all...

OP posts:
digitalgirl · 16/10/2007 22:38

maybe it's an omen bucky you know, out with the old...in with the new? (babies are new)

Bucky2007 · 16/10/2007 22:38

I'm staying here by myself but should be ok now the windows are being secured. I live in Hertfordshire and apparently my nice neighbour hasn't heard of anyone being burgled around here before .

Its soo quiet without any appliances humming or a tv...quite spooky.

OP posts:
digitalgirl · 16/10/2007 22:40

sorry - just read that, I meant good omen (not damian)

digitalgirl · 16/10/2007 22:46

ok, scrap those last two posts. bucky you deserve a proper pampering tomorrow, I got worried yesterday when you mentioned massages not being good in the first trimester. so I looked
this up

Bucky2007 · 16/10/2007 23:00

ooh that's really interesting. And we can breathe a sigh of relief . dg are you going to go to the docs about your cycles or are you happy trying to figure out what's going on yourself? It all sounds so puzzling I really feel for you.

Bucky I'm pleased Eric has been and gone - that must feel more secure for you now.

Had you have lived a bit nearer I was gonna offer to come and sit with you - sadly would take me about 3 hours to get to you (and my sense of direction is v bad!) so not much help I'm afraid.

Hope you are able to get some rest tonight.

Don't be silly about the thread topic - although if we're gonna talk symptoms, af seems to have already upped and left. I'm sure its just wishful thinking on my part and she'll have just popped out and will be back tomorrow with avengence!

fairysnuff · 16/10/2007 23:24

Oh, how awful bucky
Did Eric make our house secure?
Hope so, you are being so calm, but yes about the cream carpets, if teh burglrs didn't mess them, why did teh police? Thoughless! And about your chocolates, how very dare they!!!!

My sister was burgled by school kids (the police reckoned) the day after she moved into her flat. They reckoned they saw her take in her telly and playstation so decided they would just have a bit of that. again! The cheek!

fairysnuff · 16/10/2007 23:26

Why can't I ever type the correctly??
I always have to correct it! That and could or would I always type woudl and coudl

Should we stay the night in her handbag do you think?
I hope everything is ok though.

Bucky2007 · 16/10/2007 23:47

fairysnuff the burglers did mess up the carpets but only the ones I didn't have cleaned! They came in the back...police came in the front!

Another quite embarrassing thing is my bedroom was so messy when I left for work after trying on six different outfits and drying/straightening my hair, didn't make the bed etc...that I wasn't actually sure if the burglars had been up there . Note to self: clean up before I go to work each day.

Morning all

Bucky hope you had an OK night and managed to sleep OK

pixie hope you're OK and it went OK yesterday

picknmix how long was she here for?

OK yesterday wasn't CD1 for me hmmmm maybe today.

pixie04 · 17/10/2007 09:04

Good Morning Ladies,

bloody burglers! grrrrr. Bucky are you okay? How did it go during the night? I don't think I'd sleep a wink if I'd been you. You poor thing that's awful. I can't believe what happened How are you feeling about it all?

PicknMix Sorry AF turned up.

Well my appointment went brilliantly. Thank you to all who came. x There's no bean in there but the good news is she can't see any problems with my ovaires and my whomb lining is thin which it's supposed to be post AF so it's good news. All seems to be in order. Hopefully when I see my consultant at the end of November he won't want me to have another laparoscopy because that would mean having to take a break from ttc.

Sorry I didn't manage to get on to post last night but DP hogged the PC and I was knackered what with a cold and having been man handelled slightly I got a nice early night.

digitalgirl · 17/10/2007 09:51

Glad to hear it went so well pixie. Phew, I thought Bucky's burglars had got to your toadstool!

bucky I hope you had a safe night's sleep.

well DH has kindly booked me an appointment at the docs this friday morning. I will definitely be keeping this one whether AF comes or not. Bored of long cycles now. 37, 41 and CD40 today. No real cramps or sore boobs to speak of either. I am getting fat though...all this eating and lack of exercise (been too busy/lazy to keep up my running), it's actually me that's dragging the nation's average weight up.

Bucky2007 · 17/10/2007 10:10

Morning girlies, glad all went well Pixie we were all thinking about you. Also v. relieved that you are at last going to the docs dg .

I slept ok, was a bit pathetic and piled loads of things in front the bedroom door not sure what I thought that would do except make a load of noise and crush me in my sleep but hey ho. Still alive . I feel surprisingly blaise about the whole thing. Its just stuff and I am kind of grateful that it was all superficial mess. They emptied all the drawers out on the floor and walked mud everywhere and ripped off skirtings to get all the appliances out (they were cabled behind the skirtings to avoid wires everywhere), but they seem to have been considerate burglers as they left the important stuff like my computer, hair straighteners and the kettle! Now that the SOCO have been and I have started cleaning up, feel ok really. I was insured so that helps. The only thing I am worried about is that they will come back as they will know we will just replace it on insurance. .

Back to important things anyway. Have prodded (.)(.)s this morning and don't think they hurt more than last month They are quite hard and round though. I look like I had a tit job . I suppose that is a good thing, better than them being round my ankles.

Ooh ooh, one more thing. I think I want to be a SOCO. How exciting. I secretly got all their detective leftovers out of the bin and scrutinised them. They actually say CSI on them!! . How ridiculous am I?? I am excited by my own burglary. I should be crying in a corner somewhere.

OP posts:
ClairePO · 17/10/2007 10:18

Pleased everything went well Pixie, what CD are you on now? Fingers crossed that this is your month

Glad you're OK Bucky, hopefully the insurance will pay out speedily. What did the CSI guys do?

I don't have any symptoms, in fact I don't really know why I'm in this thread except for the fact I like it here as I'm not really in the 2ww.

digitalgirl · 17/10/2007 10:21

Well done for staying so level headed throughout this whole ordeal bucky. During the last series of spooks I wanted to be in MI5 or MI6. Thankfully that urge has left me. SOCO though, can't be as dangerous...

picknmix how's AF doing? I remembered to take my temp this morning. Didn't want to though, not when i was all snugly in bed. Don't know whether I'll actually be able to keep it up
