Hey girls as we are about to get thrown out of our thread I have started a new one so we can continue manically looking for EWCM, sore (.)(.)s and orange feet whilst chanting 'in with love, out with BFNs'.

Come on over/in

debinaustria · 09/10/2007 09:10

Pixie - my nipples are VERY sensitive, boobs aren't sore - just bigger!

Hope you get that BFP on Saturday

Deb

digitalgirl · 09/10/2007 09:55

I'm very, very ashamed to admit that I tested this morning why oh why oh why don't I bloody learn? I KNEW a bfn would make me feel sad. So now I'm sad AND ill. Brilliant combo.

And WTF is going on with this EWCM, all day yesterday and also this morning. Soooo not in the mood to bd. Sulked at DH for losing my new hairdryer. How does that happen? I hate the world

PicknMix · 09/10/2007 10:36

Ahhhh DG you poor thing - crappy start to a very wet day. Massive hugs to you.....

You know that you've tested to early to don't get despondent yet - just try and hold out for saturday xx

pixie04 · 09/10/2007 10:49

DigitalGirl its horrible getting BFN's isn't it even when you know you've tested too early. Try and hold out for Saturday.

Write off this morning and try and start a fresh for the rest of the day. You will get that BFP at some point. Maybe it's even on its way this month. Sometimes EWCM doesn't mean a whole lot except that there has been some sort of surge in your hormones. Try and relax you've got some great symptoms happening and if your 11 DPO then either AF will arrive in the next three days or you will get a BFP.

big cyber

I'm tempted to use one of my OPK's this afternoon, I've been told that if you get a positive on them it can mean your PG and I'm getting withdrawl symptoms from not peeing on things.

Bucky2007 · 09/10/2007 11:24

Hello everyone, nice to see you all 'out and about' today . It was like a ghost town here at the weekend!

digitalgirl you are a very naughty girl, but you get a big anyway. I read that you are not supposed to test till 17dpo to get a v. accurate result. Of course we all know that that is nigh impossible unless you are unaware or not ttc, so its OK. But at 11dpo you are well short of 17dpo so it could very well be a wrong result. Your illness isn't going to help as you will be run down anyway, so wrap up warm and drink lots of lemsip and if you are not at work, watch loosewoman and have a smirk at Carol McGiffin (sp?) having a rant. That always cheers me up. We are all shoving babydust your way so you will get a BFP in time for lesbian SIL civil ceremony . P.S. what do you wear to a civil ceremony? Is it like normal wedding garb? .

Pixie you've started me off now. Now I am thinking that maybe I did ov at CD9 and my on the opk was in fact a BFP. I am officially mental (on top of being a thruster )

*PicnMix, why would you get a dip for no reason . Maybe Deb has made our thread luckier...

OP posts:
digitalgirl · 09/10/2007 13:03

I know I know I'm naughty...should listen to my own advice, I'm happy enough to dish it out here on MN
I'm at work today, so doing my best to concentrate.
DH sent me a lovely email saying that I prob tested too early and that he's booked us some spa treatments for our anniversary weekend. he's lovely.
picknmix thanks hon!!!
pixie can we still be test buddies on saturday?
bucky I'm going to dress up all posh, it's going to be a proper do they're both having suits made. (maybe we might have to buy a lo a cute little outfit too)

ps my nips are sore

pps you ladies are great. i hope we all get pg together and then we can support each other through 9 months of obsessiveness.

GryffinGirl · 09/10/2007 13:32

hello everyone - just popping in . Congratulations to Floss and Deb, if I haven't said that already.

CD25 today, but no real symptoms to report, hence lack of posting. I do have sore (.)(.) but nothing more than normal towards AF time. Everyone tells me they get agonisingly sore, which mine are not. I'm not even at test stage and I am already giving up hope this month

Bucky2007 · 09/10/2007 21:01

OMG check this out...mensa here she comes. We think we have problems

OP posts:
ClairePO · 09/10/2007 21:36

Evening all! Sorry it was BFN DG hopefully in a few days it will be a BFP.

Well I have no symptoms, not even of an approaching AF. Getting kinda bored with waiting for her to turn up and not knowing when to expect her. Prior to m/c I was regular as clockwork 28 days and sore boobs a few days before were a certain sign she was on her. Just want to have a CD1 and start trying properly.

digitalgirl · 09/10/2007 22:17

lol bucky 'i buleeve, such as, the Yoo Ess should help south africa, such as'

Thansk clairePO well I have had AF cramps, so am officially on knicker watch. and sore nips...and really gross partially cooked egg white CM [sorry tmi]. Is this because I have a cold?

Have also had TWO helpings of cake today. Is that a symptom?

fairysnuff · 09/10/2007 22:55

ooh, can cake eating be a symptom, pleeeeease!!

Bucky2007 · 10/10/2007 08:03

digitalgirl your symptoms sound positive, especially the cake . I am sure I read in some scientific journal that that was a dead cert.

I couldn't resist and did another OPK just to see and the smiley face has gone. Only BD'd once in the 48 hour period because DP is knackered as he is working so hard at the moment. I also got in a bit of a mood with him because despite me asking him not to drink for a few days during ov, he is still glugging the wine. Two days, that's all I asked, I'm not even sure if it would make any difference but why could he NOT drink for TWO days. He says he really wants a DC but he can't do that simple thing?? He only drank one glass but its the principle. Maybe I am being unfair and unreasonable but it got me sooo mad. .

I didn't say much about it (although I did say quite clearly that he had no willpower)but he slouched off to bed early and went to sleep. So I can only hope that the once was enough .

OP posts:
ClairePO · 10/10/2007 08:18

Bucky does men drinking make a big difference? I never knew that! I mean obv drinking heavily I would assume is a no-no.

If cake making were a symptom I'd be OK, I just never then get around to eating it, I don't really have a very sweet tooth.

digitalgirl · 10/10/2007 08:53

bucky I think the no-drinking rule for men is in reference to performance. So if he can still 'perform' after a glass of wine then that's fine . Apparently, it takes over 60 days to make sperm...so whatever he's eating/drinking now will only affect the little buggers that appear in two to three months time. But yes, it IS annoying when DH can't make a little sacrifice for only two days. We have to lay off so much for TWO weeks during ttc and then a whole 9 months once PG. No fair, I say.

Today I have a looooong day at work. Feeling on the mend so am looking forward to enjoying the weekend, disease-free.

Got another weird symptom...again this really is too much information for some...was checking cervix position last night as I thought if AF is about to turn up then it should be low and hard. Well, still no sign of it (so it's up high) but the whole of that area is really soft. Like REALLY soft, there's no resistance (and the bd'ing last night was really strange as a result). Again, not sure if that's coz I've been unwell or if that's a PG symptom.

Sorry if I've grossed anyone out.

Confused,
dg x

PicknMix · 10/10/2007 09:00

DG a cervix that is high and soft is a big sign of pregnancy...... I see a BFP on the horizon!!!!

fairysnuff · 10/10/2007 09:06

OOh how excitingDG you must be getting excited?
When are you testing? Saturday?
Can't wait{grin]

Where is that excitable with her news??
I so hope she gets her BFP.

madoldbird · 10/10/2007 09:38

Morning everyone

DG, sounds promising! I'm glad that someone else is still playing cervical pursuits - i'm more than a passing acquaintance with mine now, although the novelty will probably wear off sooner or later!

Well, feeling a bit fed-up, although it's my own stupid fault. Did a test this morning, which of course was a BFN. I'm only about 11DPO, i think, so too early i suppose. However, the really stupid thing was i then did a second test when i had my second wee of the morning, as it was a different make to the first one, so i thought - different test... different result...!!

Can someone please give me a slap for being so stupid??!!

GryffinGirl · 10/10/2007 09:53

madoldbird - if I slap you, you have to promise to slap me back, because I bought a test this morning. Friday is CD28 for me and usually I am like ClairePO and regular as clockwork. Now I need to be ordered NOT to test until at least Friday.

Excitable · 10/10/2007 10:52

Sorry girls BFN.

Right that's it!! I'm going home at lunchtime and I'm having soft cheese for my lunch, maybe I can chase AF out with brie and stilton!

pixie04 · 10/10/2007 11:10

hehehehe

GG DONT TEST UNTIL FRIDAY!

madoldbird Your not stupid I have used that logic before but yes you are probably testing too early.

Now my turn someone slap me! I did an OPK last night but I had drank lots of water and me wee wasn't even yellow and funnily enough I got a BFN.

I'm now 14 DPO and officially on knicker watch. I had a very slight brown tinge to my CM last night but not this morning and I feel crampy so either AF will arrive today or as of tomorrow my AF will acctually be late. So fingers crossed. No symptoms at all really.... a bit tired, bit of a sore boob, a bit emotional and a bit crampy all could be AF, PG or nothing who knows.

Hey does anyone out there have a cyrstal ball out there?........

Digitalgirl Your symptoms sound really really good. I really hope you get that BFP.

Bucky I'd be mad at DP/DH too, men are horrible aren't they. I have to tell you a funny story in the hope that you'll laugh and not think that my relationship is way past its sell by date....

DP tried it on with me the other night he wanted to do some BD'ing but I was tired and know that I ovulated quiet a few days ago at that point. So I told him to put it in a cup and I'd use it later thank you. hehehehe it made me laugh. No we didn't BD I was tired. My poor DP he must feel so used

pixie04 · 10/10/2007 11:11

cross posted excitable so sorry about BFN, has AF acctually arrived then?

pixie04 · 10/10/2007 11:33

Well the bit of tiredness, bit of cramping, bit emothional and sore boob is acctually due to AF.

The old lady has arrived at least I didn't waste any HPT's this month, will get on ebay and order some more OPKS.

Am having a red wine dinner tonight I think. Guess I missed the boat as I thought.

Excitable · 10/10/2007 11:49

Yeah, but Pixie - we're CYCLE BUDDIES!!!

Expect to be asked about every symptom all month - I'm determined to REALLY enjoy having a cycle buddy!

pixie04 · 10/10/2007 12:01

Met too! Thanks excitable its great to have some to go through it with. I am pleased to be on a normalish cycle though, this last one was 35 days and I have a 14 day LP which I think is good. Am sticking to the positives! I have a lovley bottle of red wine if you would like a glass?

madoldbird · 10/10/2007 12:28

gryffingirl thanks for the slap - i needed that! I won't slap you back unless you actually use the test you bought!!!

pixie04 thank you also for the slap!! Sorry to hear AF is here

excitable also for AF arrival

I think i have redeemed myself after earlier behaviour as i have just popped to shops and not bought a test - on the basis that if i don't have one i can't use it. If AF is to arrive i hope it is by saturday, so i know whether i can watch the rugby with a drink (or 5) in hand!!
