Hey girls as we are about to get thrown out of our thread I have started a new one so we can continue manically looking for EWCM, sore (.)(.)s and orange feet whilst chanting 'in with love, out with BFNs'.

Come on over/in

I'm hoping it will, fingers crossed for us. I'm leaving it until next week because I want to be really sure and I'm running outta HPT's I figure AF should arrive at 14DPO which will be Wednesday so if I leave to Saturday then it'll need to be a BFP. Of course there is always the chance my body has been lying and I haven't OV'd yet.

I've been looking at the pregnancy threads and its scared me a little. There one about uniterested DP/DH's and its got me a little worried. Those poor women being pregnant and their DP's being arseholes and not being interested in their PG's even if planned. How nasty.

They do still do the loop wire treatment but the last time they did electrolsis on me under a gerneral. Damn "abnormal" cells

Bucky2007 · 05/10/2007 19:48

Pixie internal scan is not as bad as a smear because its not a metal clamp being racheted open its just like a vibrator with a condom on that doesn't vibrate. Its not pleasant because of the environment and social situation though obviously.

pixie04 · 05/10/2007 20:02

Sounds promising, thanks bucky.

I hate the spectulum whatchamacallit thingy they put lub on. Vibrator with a condom on sounds a little better and after so many smears and cevical treatments I'm pretty used to being in akward situations with doctors

I may take my sister rather than DP though, he's rubbish in akward situations even if it would be good practice for him.. being in akward medical situations to do with my lady bits I mean .

Who knows they may find a little something in there.

Does sound good for DG and Bucky fingers crossed!

Bucky2007 · 05/10/2007 22:38

Thanks SM & ClairePO, but me? Don't you mean Excitable? I'm just hanging out here on CD11 apart from the EWCM I haven't had any symptoms . Thanks anyway and I need all the finger crossing I can get . How are you today ClairePO

OP posts:
ClairePO · 05/10/2007 23:09

eek I did mean excitable, I read upwards, got to the last post and then posted without reviewing my bad

I'm OK I'm veering between being convinced I'm pg as I have had tummy pains am convinced are implantation (think I'm 8dpo)and thinking its just wind because I read a link where it said you don't ovulate until after your first period after m/c

How are you?

fairysnuff · 05/10/2007 23:28

shreksmissus don't they say that the wee guys normally live for 3 days or so??
So could tummy cramps be option 2?

As for the others, I just don't know.
Just what were you doing in the garden

What a lovely DD you have, imagine deciding to wait up for daddy, what a lovely thought

I know, not to get excitable too excited but those do look like good signs. Mind you, tirdness could be something to do with bouncy off these walls keeping us all entertained!!

Excitable · 06/10/2007 10:39

In my defense (serious-grown-up voice now) I'm usually quite tired at the end of the day from all the entertainingly bouncing off the walls but not usually ALL THROUGH the day.

Woke up feeling sick again this morning, but felt better after breakfast.

Still acutely aware that this proves nothing and that I shouldn't even have any symptoms yet. But also aware that there is no shouldn't...

In conclusion, I'm going to join shreksmissus in the desperately hopeful corner. Oooo, it's a squash in this corner, there's so many of us! Not all of us are even posting, there are women from all over the world. All desperately hoping for themselves and for each other. It's a bit like Greenham Common, people have flasks of tea and are singing "we shall overcome" a lot. Feel quite appeased in a we are not alone kind of way...

Excitable is philosophical this morning... Real world that doesn't care if we're pregnant or not - pah!

Excitable · 06/10/2007 10:45

Pixie forgot to say I've been reading about the poor women being treated badly by their DPs/DHs (although not very darling in this case). I cried when I read some of it the other day. Wrong in so many ways, my heart just goes out to them.

Want to add my support, but can only repeat what other people have said and they have so much more experience of difficult pregnancy situations that it's better coming from them.

I want to shoot their partners in the face with a bazooka. And that's my considered opinion. I've really thought about that.

digitalgirl · 06/10/2007 22:31

shreksmissus I think it's sounding very positive for you. you're lucky enough to remember symptoms from the first time round...and they're all very similar.

excitable how's the tiredness? I've been tired all day, but that's probably more to do with visiting PILs. DH had to tell lesbian SIL that we're ttc so she and her bride-to-be wouldn't chain smoke while we went to visit. Thankfully they were considerate enough to pretend he'd not had that conversation and didn't ask me if I felt 'up the duff.'

Other than the increased cm, ocassional boob twinge and ov-like twinge...I've had no symptoms today

Hope everyone else is having a good weekend

dg x

I didn't mean literally that the EWCM is the egg, but rather than it signified the egg...so many mistakes so little time...oh dear.

OP posts:
fairysnuff · 07/10/2007 16:15

But won't you have missed your LH surge for this month?
I thought about buying them too, but figured I was too late for this month. If TEW comes a knockin, I thought I might buy some then.

But I don't really know much about them except that my ones always come back negative

I reckon they are peeking out from the windows.......brrr, shivers down my spine!!

Bucky2007 · 07/10/2007 16:22

Hi Fairysnuff. Yes, if that was the egg I will have missed the LH surge. But that was so early..CD9 that I want to be sure that it was it so that if AF turns up this month I can look out for it again next month. My plan is to test for the next 7 days (CD14-21) if there is nothing then I will assume that was it. Crazy logic maybe, but it will add a little excitement to my sad life .

ClairePO · 07/10/2007 17:41

Stop me I'm abnormal I've used 9 of the cheapy pregnancy tests you get with the cheapy OPK's from ebay since my m/c in Sept. NINE!!!!!!!

Help, my OH thinks I'm loopy and I only admitted to him I used 4.

digitalgirl · 07/10/2007 17:51

I used 10 CBD opks and 2 Boots ones this cycle . Started on CD10 and didn't get the surge till CD20. Did a couple afterwards to make sure that the tester wasn't faulty!

ClairePO · 07/10/2007 17:54

I only used 3 OPK's then I got my surge, its just I keep using the pg tests too, at random times of the day, far too early post ov.

I know what you mean about faulty, when I got a positive pregnancy test in Aug I did think about buying a two pack, making OH wee on one while I weed on the other to make sure it wasn't a false positive.

Bucky2007 · 07/10/2007 18:08

ClairePO Nine? . Oh I feel sooo much better now . Here I was thinking that I had stepped to the dark side of my ttc obsession by buying OPKs after I think I have ov and then I realise, its fine, everyone is as obsessed as I am here . Claire if it makes you feel any better, I am hoarding rather than using my HPTs. Like one of those old ladies that keeps old newspapers. I bought some off of Ebay and then I make random purchases from chemists when I suddenly feel the urge to test and then don't use them. I must have about 10 of various varieties now. It's getting to be a bit like my keyring collection that I had when I was 8 . Now I can add the OPKs to my collection. LOL.

digitalgirl · 07/10/2007 18:12

I think I did five hpt's last cycle! Am definitely limiting my use this time, have 2 cheapo ones and 2 CBD ones waiting in the bathroom cabinet. The CBDs are to confirm the cheapos.

Am so pleased I've made it through this weekend without testing! Just need to get through the week now. That's just 5 more days of waking up and weeing without opening a test.

PicknMix · 07/10/2007 18:12

Bucky I actually scared the rabbit by laughing out loud reading your keyring collection post!! I don't know how you do it - I have been known to use a hpt after my af just cos its sat in the cupboard looking lonely!!!

Well, I know nothing about opks but I do know that I Have A Symptom.

It may only be one sore boob but it is still a Symptom.

ClairePO · 07/10/2007 18:29

woohoo a symptom!!! Lets hope the other one gets sore too!!! I mean that in a nice way of course. I wouldn't normally wish sore boobs on people.

Well I only have one HPT left I am trying to save it, although I shall replenish my supplies at the earliest opportunity. When my DP isn't looking.

Bucky2007 · 07/10/2007 20:31

Congrats on your symptom PicknMix we are decidedly lacking in symptoms at the moment.

digitalgirl you can do it, spend the five days looking for symptoms and telling us all about them..I am very hopeful for you. It definitely sounded like implantation that you had the other day. I feel like a baby puppy whose sister puppy is going off to live with a new family, when I think about you going off into the world of pg threads . I hope you pop in sometimes to visit me. I will probably still be here when you are ttc #2!
