Hey girls as we are about to get thrown out of our thread I have started a new one so we can continue manically looking for EWCM, sore (.)(.)s and orange feet whilst chanting 'in with love, out with BFNs'.

Come on over/in

Oh god yes, I had the pokey thing too - can remember thinking 'they surely aren't gonna put that up there.....yep, yes they really are'. DH looked suitably annoyed about the whole deal but managed to keep talking to me so I didn't have to concentrate on what was going on (preferred to pretend I was anywhere but in that dr's room).

at your bottom patting dr dg and also at your star jumping cousin bucky!!!

fairysnuff · 04/10/2007 22:44

at both stories!
Why did she do it bucky??
And teh bum patting?? weird and euch.
My doc said I had lovely ankles, when I was 8 months preggers with DD, but that is not really in the same legue as your stories.

Wow, to your DH bucky, I can't imagine my DH ever reacting so strongly. But then again, we have never been in your situation, so he has never been pushed.

He won't talk about DD's birth though cos it upsets him to remember. (Ventouse, shoulders stuck then placenta stuck, not nice)

My doc got the fright of her life when she had a look 10 weeks afterwards, using one of those duck thingies, when she closed it and retrieved some placenta. She could barely speak
It rather took my fear away for going in for my d&c.

fairysnuff I guess it was just one of those authority things...she thought as he was a doctor trying to diagnose her it must be required. Obviously afterward, on reflection, when we were all LOL at her naivety she realised there was no rational reason to do jumping jacks . She has doesnt appear to have been scarred by the experience, apart from a loathing of doing jumping jacks.

Ooooo - I've begun the self aborping task of symptom spotting (bit early but indulge me) my temps have remained high which is good and this morning I woke up and felt really sick. Didn't last long but definite nausea. Too early methinks but right now its seems kinda fun - 2 weeks down the line and I'll be saying something completely different!!

Oh, and my cervix seems to have made a reappearance!!! really think I may have scared it off before but definitely back now!

fairysnuff · 05/10/2007 09:30

I went in pursuit of mt cervix this am, not a one was to be found.
So sent a text to DH saying, The egg is coming! The egg is coming!

I am not surprised she doesn't like jumping jacks, she was prob more embarassed by you all LOL than the actual experienec. hehe
Sometimes I regret telling my family silly things I have done, they never let it lie (in style of vic reeves and bob mortimer)

digitalgirl · 05/10/2007 10:05

er....too scared to look for my cervic this morning, have had a bit of browny-cm. either AF has decided to rear her ugly head unnaturally early, or it's (shhh) implantation bleeding.

have lost my appetite for the last couple of days and woke up with a head-ache this morning. not sure if I've caught dh's cold or if this is it!!! wasn't going to test till next weekend, but how soon can you test after 'possible' implantation?

(shreksmissus was 18 at the time, in the middle of A levels, and just pleased to never have to go back to the clinic - on reflection i think he was just trying to reassure me, can't be sure if the beautiful was for me or my healthy-looking vag! still broke out into a cold sweat tho)

digitalgirl · 05/10/2007 10:07

fairysnuff woohoo! good luck catching it tonight. I've spent the last three weeks sending similar texts to my dh!

Excitable · 05/10/2007 10:17

DG and Bucky can't believe the stories about slimy gaenies, although don't know why. We had a Glaswegian GP in West Yorkshire when I was little who I knew really well. He retired when I was about 13. My Mum is quite little and pretty and always has really nice makeup - child of the sixties, you see. Before I was born, she went with a sore eye or something and he noticed (legitimately) that she was due for a smear test, so made her lie down on the bed, but what really made her laugh was that in order to get to her...erm... business end, he threw her leg over his shoulder!!

He was normally very professional and really nice and she's never really been able to decide if that was really pervy or if he was just trying to use humour to relieve the embarrassment of the situation! At least she thinks it's funny! (She might not if she knew how many times I've told that story while drunk at parties

CD23 today and I'm still really tired. But a funny, too exhausted to sleep kind of tired, even though I've had plenty of sleep - I must have caught up after my boozy weekend by now! Think I may have had a dream last night that I was pregnant, because when I woke up this morning, I had to remind myself that I don't know that...

Excitable · 05/10/2007 10:39

I'm being ignored, but I'm going to carry on anyway... is anyone out there?

I was expecting AF to come early this month as everything has happened early - ov pains, ewcm, mojo - everything, but she's due in 5 days time and I feel nothing at all. I'm not grouchy, I have no cramps, no headaches, I'm not farting (sorry if TMI, but I ALWAYS fart loads just before), and I'm not even retaining water. This is just not like me...

digitalgirl · 05/10/2007 11:07

excitable I'm here, pretty much going to be on most of the day as I'm working from home trying to write a brief. I think the fact that you're not having usual pre-AF symptoms is looking good for you.

Are you going to test in 5 days or wait till you're overdue?

Excitable · 05/10/2007 11:24

I think I'll test in 5 days, as that will be overdue from when I expect AF to come.

Too tired to be excitable today, feel quite zen, it's lovely really, since I decided to just go with it... hmmm... nice....

Bucky2007 · 05/10/2007 11:48

dg and exciteable sounds quite promising for you both. I have shed loads of work today so can only sneak the odd peak at what's going on. I am going over to Oct BFPs to see what CDs you are both on.

Bucky2007 · 05/10/2007 12:00

Ok so you should both be in good shape to test in the next week or so right? I will diarise it .

Excitable · 05/10/2007 13:07

OOoh Bucky you Project Manager, you! It seems like so far away...Although I'm glad T-day (testing day) isn't today. I don't feel like beginning an emotional roller coaster today, just want to sleep... zzzzz.....

Keep closing my eyes to see what it feels like, then opening them really quickly because Excitable has been known to fall asleep in less than a minute and it's so nice...

PicknMix · 05/10/2007 13:24

I'm with you on the snooze fest Excitable - I just fell asleep on my lunchbreak for the very same reason ('oooo, I wonder what would happen if I shut my eyes for just a second, just to give them a little rest' cue 20 mins later 'bugger, should've been back at work 10 mins ago.....' )

Excitable · 05/10/2007 13:27

Oh no! Happy Friday PicknMix

digitalgirl · 05/10/2007 14:18

I'm tired too. Have taken laptop onto sofa so I might have a little doze...

GryffinGirl · 05/10/2007 14:25

hello all - stayed away for a few days as absolutely nothing to report. CD21, so I am weeeell into the 2ww. Sore boobs, cramping and that's it. i HATE the 2ww. And i feel horribly guilty because I was as a client function last night and drank too much.

Now, Cervical Pursuits - I had a go last night at trying to find it and so far no luck . I am either minus a cervix, not looking in the right place or don't have long enough fingers

Excitable · 05/10/2007 14:40

GG hope you're not minus a cervix - you're going to need that! Doesn't it means something good if it's high. I think I read something about you may not be able to reach it, so don't worry. Tww is pants, I agree.

DG oooh, I hope you've finished your brief before you nod off.

I'm still sleepy and also can't stop weeing. TMI warning - is six wees before lunchtime excessive? Even I did have an extra cup of tea this morning, I still think that's a lot!

pixie04 · 05/10/2007 16:51

Hello!

Digitalgirl He slapped your bum! I would have kicked him! How inapproriate. your brownish cm sounds like implantation to me didn't you OV a few days ago?

Excitable had to LOL at your mum and her GP, sounds like a man trying to make light of things to me.

I remember I was having a loop wire treatment once (had treatment a couple of times) for "abnormal" cervical cells. Anyway doc was down there and I was in stirups and he ran an electrical volt through the thingy to heat it and it jolted my leg and he was in the middle of taking the slice and the whole thing bloody hurt! so i started crying (i was still only in my late teens back then) and do you know what he said ... " Its not that bad" I though your kidding me surley, no? well let me remove 5mm off the end of your penis with an electronically heated wire and see if its that bad!

I'm due to go in for one of those internal scans for an ovary check soon, as some of you have had them is it really that bad? Anything I should be aware of? I normally find smears painful....

Well I'm now 9 DPO I don't have any symptoms except cramping a couple of days ago, no suspisious implantation spotting so I'm waiting for that or AF if nothing by next Saturday am going to test.

Cervial persuit lol I love it I'm going to start soon after this next AF... if she comes...

pixie04 · 05/10/2007 16:52

Excitable I think 6 wee's befor lunchtime is quiet a few... when if AF due?

Excitable · 05/10/2007 16:56

Not for 5 days!! Gonna be a long 5 days, I think!

pixie04 · 05/10/2007 16:57

your symptoms sound good so its looking promising

digitalgirl · 05/10/2007 19:22

pixie I think i ov'd last saturday, so it would be about the right time. Haven't had any more brown CM today and no further signs of AF, so fingers crossed.
That loop wire treatment sounds painful, I hope they've worked out a more sophisticated laser-thing now.
I'm going to do my very best to sit and wait till next sat to test too (I'll be 14dpo). Although I think you'll be well overdue if you're already 9dpo...that BFP will pop out before you've finished your wee!
