Hey girls as we are about to get thrown out of our thread I have started a new one so we can continue manically looking for EWCM, sore (.)(.)s and orange feet whilst chanting 'in with love, out with BFNs'.

Come on over/in

OMG dg Can I write the book about your life?? What with the lesbian SILs, crazy Step Mothers and work highs and lows not to mention the ttc malarky, it would be a best seller! I think you 'know' me well enough now to know I don't mean to be insensitive. I'm just stunned. Hope your DF comes to his senses. Try to relax in the meantime (not easy obviously) but stress is not conduicive (sp?) with ttc. But then you know that so I am probably stressing you out by telling you not to stress out .

Well I BD'd last night because of the EWCM, but I guess if ov could be in five days I better keep at it! DP freaked me out last night, I think he is reading MN as on the way up to bed he mentioned something about his sperm dancing.... I am suspicious now, what if he is reading the stuff I am writing?? .

sk hope you're ok today

lockets - you sure it's AF?

picknmix - looks like we'll be testing around the same time again! So now you're officially on the 2ww, any symptoms?

I have none today, other than sensitive tummy area. But that could be anything (hopefully not the bug that's doing the rounds at the office).

Excitable · 04/10/2007 10:24

SK sorry to hear about AF - but it's early days yet.

DG glad you're feeling better this morning.

ClairePO those noses sound bloody scary!

I couldn't resist - I had a quick poke around to find the old cervix this morning and I thought it felt low and soft! It's not supposed to do this - the choice is high and soft - pregnant, low and hard - not pregnant. I've got a wayward cervix, bloody hell, I can't follow ANY rules at all!

I'm choosing to believe that this means that I'm pregnant, because that's a fantasy I enjoy. I don't know where it normally is, so I don't really know if it was low or high, but it was definitely soft. There's a kind of logic in there, I guess!

Anyone care to join me in Excitable's fantasy world? Not enjoying the mystery of the tww any more. I did this last time too, thought it was quite funny in the first week and was just a mare in the second week! I JUST WANT TO KNOW!! Really, not pregnant would be just fine, I know I haven't been trying all that long, but I hate the not knowing!

digitalgirl · 04/10/2007 12:14

excitable that's definitely a PG symptom. mine has still not returned after disappearing yesterday. which is also a pg symptom. was convinced when i went to the loo that i had the tiniest streak of brown/red in my cm...(implantation?)...could have easily been a fleck in the toilet paper tho.

Excitable · 04/10/2007 12:41

Oddly, I'm not convinced.

Has pregnancy changed Excitable's entire personality? Answers on a postcard (or posting!) plese!

Bucky2007 · 04/10/2007 12:41

digitalgirl hope my post didn't offend. It really wasn't intended to.

I couldn't resist a go at Cervical Pursuit either in the shower this morning. I am not sure if what i was feeling. There was something like a nose, but it was soft so probably not my cervix as at CD10 could not qualify for a soft cervix.

I am v. sensitive today and now I think I have peed off dg with my ramblings about her personal business. I'm sorry.

Hello Ladies!

I'm back from my holidays, it feels like I've been gone forever. I had a lovley relaxing time and it was a perfect way to pass my first week of this 2ww.

As symptoms go nothing yet, I'm 8DPO so am waiting for either signs of implantation or AF as my cycles are nuts I'm not sure how long my LP is.

Hope everyone is okay, I took a quick look on the October thread and see that huge congrtulatioins are in order for Debs and TwilightSurfer well done you two and about time TS wishing you both happy and healthy PG's

digitalgirl · 04/10/2007 16:40

bucky no no not at ALL offended!! I'm so sorry, I crossed posted earlier and didn't see your book offer earlier this morning! haha - yes, there's always drama in the dg household! have just come back from a mammoth meeting and only now just scoffing my lunch and catching up on MN.
and bucky EWCM and a soft cervix means you're fertile, the EWCM keeps the sperm alive until you ov...so BD away! The cervix doesn't just soften up for ovulation, it opens a few days before to let the sperm in.

pixie glad you had a lovely time, lucky you with your 2ww distractions. where did you go?

Bucky2007 · 04/10/2007 17:28

Thanks digitalgirl

I feel left out, I haven't been playing cervical pursuit

Bucky2007 · 04/10/2007 20:25

Forgot to say hi to Pixie. I missed you, but I forgot you went on holiday

Can I REALLY be fertile on CD10?

OP posts:
fairysnuff · 04/10/2007 21:04

LOL, Maybe I should be playing cervical pursuit too?
But I shower with DD she might think it odd(she is only 1, so she mightn't notice, but all the same)?

digitalgirl · 04/10/2007 21:07

can't hurt to bd away bucky! My philosophy this cycle has been to BD at least every other day since AF ended. The on the OPK did up the frequency to twice a day...but have kept up the every other day plan this week just in case I got the surge but not the egg (can happen in irregular cycles).

This evening I am definitely feeling hot and crampy. But no sore boobs. Have no idea what this means.

clairePO there'll be plenty of people looking at your cervix once you're pg...I don't blame you if you want to keep it under wraps til then!

What I've never worked out is how do docs/dhs/midwives know how many centimetres dilated you are when in labour? Have tried putting a mirror down there [lovely image for you all] and couldn't possible see all the way up...

PicknMix · 04/10/2007 21:13

Hi Pixie! Glad to hear you had a fab time away - nice to see you back!

Bucky my friend got pregnant on cd9 and her cycles were loooooooong and irregular. Her af had only just left and she thought there was no way she could be fertile (her dd was a happy mistake!). So make the most of it - let the bding commence!!! (said in a Richard O'Brian of The Crystal Maze stylee.....)

Still have the most sore nips - really would've thought they'd be back to normal again now. Am worried that maybe I haven't really ovulated yet. Plus my cervix seems to have all but disappeared and gone a bit soft. May be its gone into hiding at the thought of all the cervical pursuits I had planned??!

digitalgirl · 04/10/2007 21:15

picknmix what cd you on and what's your cycle length?

ClairePO · 04/10/2007 21:16

Depressing bit: when I m/c'd the junior (male) doc wanted to look at my cervix to see if it was open. He used the thing you used when you have a smear test, but then had to keep swabbing me as 'there's blood in the way'. It seemed to take ages and he had to reposition it a few times. Possibly one of the miserable awful experiences of my life. My poor cervix has probably had enough fiddling with for this month.

Anyway I've had pains in my abdomen today, dull pains not stabby pains, slightly to the right. My LH surge was last Thursday. Is it wind?

PicknMix · 04/10/2007 21:22

DG I'm on cd19 today but my cycles are completely irregular - last one was 45 days, the one before 35, and before that 28 and 22 so just a guessing game at the mo. Thats why I've started temping as am hoping it'll give me more of an idea about things!!

Claire those pesky doctors insist on putting things in the most awkward of places. After I had my mc I had to have countless examinations and each one was painful (the worst bit was when the attending nurse kept stroking my leg and saying 'shhhh darlin, I know I know, it hurts a bit but shhhh darlin' - felt like I was 3 yrs old and had scraped my knee or something!!! I really feel for you and agree your poor cervix prob needs a rest.

digitalgirl · 04/10/2007 21:31

clairePO that sounds horrible . i haven't had a smear for ages so have forgotten how painful it is - must be even more so when it's after an m/c and involves insensitive docs. but when i was younger i once had to go to the sexual health clinic (yes far tmi) and the male gyne patted me on the bum while i had my legs splayed and said 'all looks fine, beautiful'.

picknmix CD19, maybe you nearly ov'ed the other day and you're trying to ov again. or maybe you're oving again? who knows in the lottery of irregular cycles? just keep bd'ing i reckon!!!

Bucky2007 · 04/10/2007 21:32

I with PicknMix, ClairePO I'm not surprised that you are not interested in playing cervical pursuit . With my MC I had the scan where they put a condom on like a microphone shaped thing and shove it up there and have a good root round. DP was horrified and wanted to punch the doctors lights out! The nurses had to take him outside and calm him down .

OP posts:
Bucky2007 · 04/10/2007 21:37

Digitalgirl He patted you on the bum???? I am speechless . My cousin (female) once went to the doctor (a man) and was made to take all her clothes off and do jumping jacks when she went in complaining of a sore ear. She came out and asked me if that was normal . Patting your bum though????

OP posts:
digitalgirl · 04/10/2007 21:43

LOL at your jumpin' jack cousin!!! That is hilarious!! Maybe not for your cousin tho...

Yep, my bare botty

ClairePO · 04/10/2007 21:45

Patting your bum is freaky, and being called beautiful is nice normally, but not in such a situation!!!

Bucky I had the condom on the pokey thing too, they wouldn't let OH come in with me (was in Germany)
