Hey everyone! I'm currently on CD16 and am 1DPO.

I thought I would create a group that everyone can join (I know there's a lot out there but thought I'd start one so people can join who are in the same time frame as me)

This is our first cycle after a miscarriage at 5 weeks so hoping that we get our rainbow baby 🌈 👶🏼

Feel free to join, tell me your stories, let's get through this 2WW wait together!! lol!

Hi Steph.

Sorry to hear about your wedding, seems to have happened to so many people and I often wonder how much of a impact its going to have on their pre and post wedding plans too.

I agree with your friend, you can't put everything on hold for one day, especially one that's now even further away than originally planned BUT that being said... A young baby at a wedding is hard work - I took DC to a wedding when she was 2 months old and we lasted roughly 3 hours before giving up and going home. Would you be willing for someone to help out with baby at the wedding, or have someone take them away home early if it was too much for them?

On the other hand you could end up finding yourself pregnant at your wedding - do you feel you could still enjoy the day? What if the pregnancy wasn't plain sailing and you had to postpone again?

There's a tonne of points to consider and I'd definitely be making a list and going with my gut feeling after reading it all through.

❤️

Thanks for the welcome Nannon. I'm hoping the symptoms are real and good news, and not all in my head. Our bodies love to trick us in this wait time, don't they?

Sorry for the lots of replies. I use the MN app and I respond as I read thro so I can keep track lol.

Nannon145 · 30/05/2020 23:48

@OnNaturesCourse oh I know, it's awful isn't it! I remember my first month trying I'd convinced myself of all these different symptoms and then got BFN.

The only reason I'm hoping this month is because I'm getting this metallic taste which is the same I got last month when I was pregnant but unfortunately miscarried but now because I'm only 5DPO, potentially 6DPO, I'm thinking not a chance

@steph1357 our wedding is booked for September this year too but we think we're going to have to rearrange as we can't possibly safely social distance 100 people, we were originally going to wait until after the wedding to start ttc but we thought f* it, might as well start now especially as the world is so uncertain right now and we're not even sure when our wedding will happen and we don't want to have to wait another year to start ttc because we are fully aware it can take time to get pregnant in the first place. Hope everything works out for you ☺ xx

KatieG200394 · 31/05/2020 00:00

@MrsSam88 and @OnNaturesCourse welcome ☺ xx

OnNaturesCourse · 31/05/2020 00:02

Nannon - yes, I remember back to TTC DC1 and I had myself pregnant every month by 4 DPO lol. I kept a little diary/log back then and I've been looking over it recently.

Sorry to hear what happened 💐

Nannon145 · 31/05/2020 00:09

@OnNaturesCourse thank you. What is meant to be, is meant to be. That's what I live by. That was meant to happen to teach us something, even if we're not sure what yet x

@Nannon145 sorry to hear what happened to you last month, I hope you get your miracle soon, my Mum miscarried a long time ago and she ended up getting pregnant with twins (me and my brother) and we wouldn't have existed if she hadn't as she would have still been pregnant with her other baby, life works in mysterious ways, keeping my fingers crossed for you xx

Nannon145 · 31/05/2020 07:28

@KatieG200394 thank you ❤️❤️❤️❤️

@emvy I'm same dpo as you and feel no symptoms at all either, makes it easier to just chill and wait for AF though!

Nannon145 · 31/05/2020 12:01

Need some advice from you girls - we are currently renting a property and our plan was to buy before we got pregnant. We were planning to buy at the end of this year. We've been looking around and found houses but we're struggling to be able to get a mortgage due to missed payments/and 1 default on my partner's credit file from years ago. Our mortgage advisor has said that we are likely to get accepted by the end of the year, but just got to wait it out so now it's looking more like next year that we'll be able to buy our own home.

Do you think we should be waiting to have a baby until we've brought a house or do you think we're ok to try now?

We both want a baby so much but then so worried about it affecting us getting a mortgage when we finally are able to next year.

So stressful and so annoying.
We have the deposit & are able to afford a mortgage every month but it is just the ability to actually be able to get one that we're struggling with

Who was it talking about the pulled muscle feeling? Sorry I can’t find who that was but today I’ve had that! On my front right side initially now in the centre. Very strange! 6DPO today but this is just an estimate as I don’t use anything to actually specifically pin point it. I just went on last day of ewcm 🤷🏼‍♀️

@Nannon145, I personally wouldn’t wait in that situation I don’t think. Having a baby shouldn’t necessarily impact your ability to get a mortgage although maternity leave obviously will. But a house is a house and you can buy any time really, you never know what’s going to happen when you’re TTC so I’d just say keep going and see what happens!

How is everyone today?

SarahTTC2020 · 31/05/2020 16:10

@Nannon145 I used to be a mortgage adviser and being pregnant won't affect your application. If you're on maternity most lenders take your last payslip before you went on maternity as long as you're going to return on same hours. If you planned to reduce hours then they would use that reduced income.
If you have a child then most lenders incorporate a dependent into your affordability assessment so that would possibly have an impact to the amount you could borrow Vs your income
Hope that makes sense

Nannon145 · 31/05/2020 18:11

Thank you both. I'm so happy you agree. And so happy that you've given me that information @SarahTTC2020 didn't realise it would affect it!! Makes me feel a lot better!!

@emvy that was me Smile it is strange isn't it? I'm 10DPO today but have no symptoms at all today so I think I'm probably out this month but I'll keep hoping for now, good luck to you this month xx

Nannon145 · 31/05/2020 21:26

I'm 6DPO today and just noticed the same horrible taste in my mouth, more so today. And then getting like period pains occasionally throughout the day

emvy · 31/05/2020 22:08

@KatieG200394 I still think 10dpo is early for symptoms. I think most symptoms before a missed period are pretty unlikely tbh, maybe 12 days you might be more likely. No symptoms at this stage definitely doesn’t mean you’re out!! Did the pulled muscle feeling just last the one day then? Mine was a few hours and have just been bloated since... maybe it was just that 😂

@Nannon145 so strange about the taste! Hopefully you’ll have some more symptoms soon 🤞🏻

SarahTTC2020 · 31/05/2020 22:17

I'm 6dpo and not noticing a single symptom 🤣 still got ages til AF due on 11th too... Damn these long cycles!!

GVR0510 · 01/06/2020 11:43

Hi All! Can I join please?? AF is due on the 9th and I'm currently 8DPO - I don't know why I thought it would be a good idea to take a test today but it came back as not pregnant. I'm hoping it's just really soon to be taking a test.
I've had a few symptoms over the past few days - cramping, metallic taste in my mouth and mood swings lol. Could be nothing and I'm just symptom spotting - I've never known two weeks to drag like this, feels like forever.

Good luck to those who will be testing soon!

RosiePosies · 01/06/2020 11:49

Hello everyone - 9dpo and itching to test. Getting period pain though so am pretty sure I'm out. I fell pregnant with my daughter under two years ago yet I still can't seem to remember the symptoms I had in the lead up to my BFP!

SarahTTC2020 · 01/06/2020 12:20

@GVR0510 implantation takes place between 6-11dpo so I would say too early to test 😁 best to wait until AF due if you can hold out! Easier said than done I know

MouseholeCat · 01/06/2020 12:37

Hi everyone. I've had a positive OPK yesterday followed by temperature rise today so I think I may be in the TWW. Will wait on a couple more high temps to know for sure but I'm bloated and gassy which is my normal luteal phase symptom.

Alyosha · 01/06/2020 12:48

I'd like to join! TTC no.2, ovulated yesterday. I usually feel absolutely awful on ovulation day, seems like a cruel joke! I don't temp and rely on a mid cycle bleed & pain in the ovary to tell when I've ovulated, so not the most accurate!

Alyosha · 01/06/2020 12:48

Oh, and with no.1 it took an unbelievably long time to get a positive test, as in, it was about 21 dpo. Or something ridiculous like that. My husband thought I was nuts!

blodyn91 · 01/06/2020 14:01

@steph1357 Hi fellow covid ruined my wedding plans pal 😭
So we we cancelled ours end of March (meant to be getting married on the 20 th June). Plan was to try for kids from October, but between me and my fiancee we decided we might as well try now for a few months, so came off the pill in April, had the withdrawl bleed then a period, and now on my TWW. If its a BFN will try again for one more cycle (march due date), but if its negative again we will stop until June 2021 (new wedding date June 2021). I have already splashed on a wedding dress that is amazing so I want to fit in it. If I end up with a C section Ill need at least 8 weeks to recover, thats why March due date is the last one we can try for, as I want to be able to enjoy myself.
