Hey everyone! I'm currently on CD16 and am 1DPO.

I thought I would create a group that everyone can join (I know there's a lot out there but thought I'd start one so people can join who are in the same time frame as me)

This is our first cycle after a miscarriage at 5 weeks so hoping that we get our rainbow baby 🌈 👶🏼

I’ve not had any symptoms at all and am 3DPO as well. I’m going to just try and bury my head in the sand for as long as I can so I don’t get my hopes up! I can’t remember last time feeling a pulled muscle type feeling but I do remember a sudden sharp pain at what would’ve been implantation. Who knows if it was though. It’s so difficult not to question every little twinge isn’t it?!

@emvy so difficult not to symptom spot!! I'm hoping I'm back at work on 8th June after the announcement today, that'll do me so much good if I am!! Keep me busy and take my mind of it!

@steph1357 thank you. It's hard but it's also so common, didn't realise how common it was until I had one!!! Women need to talk about it more ❤️ praying too 🌈

@Nannon145 that would be a great distraction! I was hoping the same but sadly as we’re still not allowed to be in proper contact with any other household, I have no childcare for ds until mil is allowed to have him again. Thankfully work are being very supportive and it is nice having this time with him.

Have read a fair few threads but never commented....
ttc about a year but pretty sure we missed a fair few cycles due to various reasons. No one talks about how long it took them to conceive in real life, or at least I never thought it was a question I should ask so didn't have a clue how long it could take but all these threads make me feel better as it's not just within first 3months etc so I'm not worried yet. I don't use the ovulation tracker things just a phone app atm, cycles have always been pretty regular 25-28days. I'm on CD28 dpo...? Maybe 14dpo and have had cramps like I'm getting AF for the last 3 days but nothing. I don't want to test yet as I did in the earlier months and just got so disappointed at the bfn that I want to wait as long as possible. But my goodness it drives me crazy waiting!

@emvy yeah that's lovely that you've got all this time with your DS 🥰

@Cos98765 hi! My fingers are crossed for you but if you're not successful this cycle, maybe you could try ovulation tests! I get easy@home ones from amazon, they're super cheap & really helped me pin point my LH peak so I knew when I was ovulating. Just helps make sure you're DTD on the right days because otherwise could be missing your ovulation each cycle! Hopefully you don't need to though, and you conceive this cycle 😍

@Nannon145 how spooky, we are the same CD, same DPO & AF is due on 8th as well! (Also, I am back to work on 8th too!)
Although, this cycle is my first ‘proper’ cycle since coming off the pill, I had a withdrawal bleed at the beginning of April, then my first AF didn’t show up until 34 days later, but it felt so good (in a strange way) to get a proper one and start to track my cycles! TTC #1

Starting to get a Metallic taste in my mouth which is exactly what I had last month (when I was pregnant) and thought this was one of my symptoms but now thinking it can't be with only me being 4DPO!! 🤣🤣

@Nannon145 it's hard to know what's a symptom and what's psychological isn't it!! I feel completely normal at 4dpo so not feeling confident of any change but then because long cycles I'm still not even due af for another week and a half at least!

@Nannon145 I read that implantation happens between 4 and 6dpo so maybe it could be? Although possibly too early for the hormones to have kicked in. Possible though?

I’m 4dpo as well and had some niggles in my lower back and tummy today, just for about half an hour. Obviously not reading into this being implantation AT ALL... 🙈😂

@SarahTTC2020 you’re definitely not out yet and no symptoms 4dpo is probably more normal than having symptoms!!

@SarahTTC2020 it is! That's why I just try and ignore everything. Heard that I'm back at work on 8th too so that'll keep my mind off it and make time go quickly 😁😁😁

@emvy oooh interesting. I thought implantation wasn't until 6-12DPO!

@Nannon145 I seem to have no symptoms at all today apart from one sharp pain on my right hand side of my lower abdomen and on/off nausea and hot flushes but I think the hot flushes are the heat tbh, not feeling very hopeful tbh and ooh, I'll keep my fingers crossed that this is it for you! ☺🤞 xx

Can I join I’m only 3dpo though. 1st month Ttc dc3 (1st with my DH though) We put off ttc because of doing up the house and then the virus put us back a few months! but feels the right time, feeling very jealous of pregnant friends now

@Nannon145 I've been having really sore boobs the last few days, guessing this is just because of the progesterone levels in the TTW?
What's the taste you have like?

I'm 9DPO, and AF is due on 5th June. BFN on the IC test I used yesterday but clinging to hope.

Symptom spotting... My boobs ache, my left nipple had a white crust this morning, my PMT seems to have arrived super early and the mood swings are crazy, I'm super bloated, and my hands feel tight and swollen but their not at all.

Oh and @KatieG I had that pulled muscle feeling with my first, and it was worse when I was peeing for some reason. Eased up as the pregnancy progressed though.

Hi ladies, I’m definitely out! AF arrived today with a vengeance 🤨 which is strange cos I’m only on CD23 so a short cycle. Only our first month TTC though so can’t complain!

Having a dilemma though as to whether to carry on.. we had to postpone our wedding from this sept til next due to covid, so decided we’d give ourselves 3 months TTC as I couldn’t bare the thought of having to wait another year. Though had good heart to hearts with my 2 best friends who have 2 completely contrasting views... 1 thinks we should as never know what’s round the corner and can’t put our lives on hold for one day, the other thinks as I’ve looked forward to my wedding day for so long we should wait as it just wouldn’t be the same with a young baby in tow and she thinks we should enjoy the wedding as we’d planned, and that TTC in such a short window is just going to stress me out. Mentioned to OH their views and he’s now having second thoughts and thinks we should maybe wait after all 😕 so just don’t know what to do 🤷‍♀️

@Nannon145, absolutely nothing to report at 5DPO here. I’ve felt completely normal today! Probably a good thing at this stage I guess, stops me obsessing... to a point!

It’s such a personal decision I don’t think you can really let someone else decide (although of course it helps to talk it through). Your wedding will be completely different with a baby. It will. And you might not feel your best if you’ve had a baby really close to the date (you can’t rush your body’s natural recovery process physically or emotionally). That said, you might absolutely love it. Make peace with whatever decision you make, I think that’s what I’m saying. We had DS before getting married and I absolutely loved having him there. It was stressful at times because he was overwhelmed and consequently clingy but as we always knew that’s what we wanted, I didn’t mind at all. You have to be sure on what you want here. Wait and don’t really want to = possibly resentful if it then takes time after etc. But then I’m biased because I had a baby first, ha. I hope this absolute waffle made sense sorry! You just have to follow YOUR gut on this.

@emvy thank you for your very sweet reply 😘 you’re absolutely right we have to make the decision on our own I guess, we just can’t work our what we want, we’re changing our mind all the time and it’s so stressful which won’t be helping anything! hoping we will work something out soon, I just keep telling myself it’s such an unexpected situation so it’s natural to feel all over the place and then I feel guilty because people have gone through far worse this year!
I am a big believer in things happening for a reason, so maybe if we do carry on TTC, whether it happens or not over the next few months it’s meant to be xx

@steph1357 sorry to hear that. Hard to say really!!! It depends what type of person you are. I know my friend had to postpone her wedding and I know if she was in the same position as you I'd tell her to wait because she's a big drinker and that's how she enjoys herself. But if you're not really a drinker then why not try!!!!!
