Hey everyone! I'm currently on CD16 and am 1DPO.

I thought I would create a group that everyone can join (I know there's a lot out there but thought I'd start one so people can join who are in the same time frame as me)

This is our first cycle after a miscarriage at 5 weeks so hoping that we get our rainbow baby 🌈 👶🏼

Feel free to join, tell me your stories, let's get through this 2WW wait together!! lol!

@Nannon145 as others have said it’s actually better to dtd leading up to ovulation rather than actually on ovulation day so try not to worry!

I always use First Response, I don’t trust anything else (at least not until I’ve had a bfp with that!).

I have no idea really when af is due i’m Just going on my app’s estimation (which is the 7th) so I don’t really know when to test! If it’s a couple of days late I really won’t be able to resist... maybe even day of but I’m not even sure that IS the day it’s due so could end up being a bit early to test. First response will definitely be the only thing I’ll be using because of this!

@SarahTTC2020 I’m not stopping drinking although I only really have a couple at weekends. I did stop eventually when TTC ds because of the miscarriages I had but I’m trying to be super chilled with it being first proper cycle TTC 😂

spooner1 · 27/05/2020 11:48

@Nannon145 thanks for the reassurance with the OPKs! Unfortuately due to work I’m not really able to test in the day so only have a chance to test in the evening so that prevents me from testing more to see if I end up getting a surge. So just going to keep going with the temping 🤞🏻
@SarahTTC2020 I’ve tended to stop drinking once i think I’ve ovulated to when I get my AF!

Nannon145 · 27/05/2020 12:05

@SarahTTC2020 I still have a few drinks in TWW, I'm a big drinker so don't have as many as I normally would. I read that baby doesn't start getting anything from you until they are 6 weeks anyway so it won't harm baby even if you were pregnant but probably best not to go over the top lol!

@emvy ok I'll try not to worry. I feel like we've done all we can this month so fingers crossed it's our cycle and we get our rainbow baby but we will wait and see 🤞🏻 I do feel a lot more laid back this cycle compared to last which is good. Like I'm kinda thinking if it happens it happens, if it doesn't that's ok too. I don't know whether that's because I'm actually scared of getting pregnant again after my miscarriage.

@spooner1 no problem, yeah I can imagine it would be hard with work. I wouldn't be able to do it either if I wasn't furloughed. I honestly think it might be because of your urine being diluted that you're not getting a positive on them then so I wouldn't worry ☺️

Thanks everyone!! Think I'll have a couple this weekend if weather is nice and then the following weekend might be time to test 🤞 my husband's birthday on 6th June so would be nice for a bfp then but then maybe should wait in case it's bfn

Nannon145 · 27/05/2020 12:40

@SarahTTC2020 how many DPO would you be then?

OP posts:
SarahTTC2020 · 27/05/2020 12:42

@Nannon145 12?

Nannon145 · 27/05/2020 13:16

@SarahTTC2020 some people do get positives at 12DPO, if I were you I'd try and just wait till 14DPO if you can though. But like you say, would be nice on your husband's birthday x

OP posts:
SarahTTC2020 · 27/05/2020 13:23

@Nannon145 yeah don't really want to obsess over testing so maybe I should wait until I'm due which is 11th I think... Wedding anniversary is 15th so if AF is late then could test then

How about you?

Nannon145 · 27/05/2020 13:53

@SarahTTC2020 oh that's a nice idea!!! My period is due 8th June so I think I'm gonna try and wait until I'm late on but if I can't wait, then I won't test before 8th!

You guys are all very restrained in this thread! Haha. Most threads I’ve been in over the course of TTC both times, people are testing from about 8dpo! I’ve always been one to err on the side of caution though and have waited for as long as possible. I think to do with getting faint lines and being anxious about them!

I know what you mean about being scared about falling pregnant @Nannon145. Even though I’m incredibly lucky to have had my ds, the trauma of my miscarriages still hasn’t gone away. My first was a mmc so I don’t even let myself believe it’s happening until the 12 week scan has confirmed all appears well. A bfp is of course absolutely amazing but it’s full of worries as well!

SarahTTC2020 · 27/05/2020 20:22

@emvy I think I just don't want to waste loads of money on tests/be disappointed by keep testing negative so in my head I'm going to wait until AF. That may change if I get impatient though 🤦🏼‍♀️

Nannon145 · 27/05/2020 20:46

@emvy yeah one of the reasons I don't want to test early as well is to avoid knowing about any chemical pregnancies because although they're very early, they're still heartbreaking as well!

Mine was at 6 weeks but I think I started miscarrying at 5 weeks due to very minor bleeding so I know I'll feel very anxious the first few weeks when I do get pregnant again

Does anyone else feel like they've pulled a muscle in their stomach? Not sure what my body is doing right now but I feel like I've done loads of sit-ups... xx

Nannon145 · 28/05/2020 09:44

@KatieG200394 I don't feel like I've pulled a muscle, I just feel like I have period pains and I'm very gassy! I think that is my ovulation symptoms though 🤣

How many DPO are you?

OP posts:
KatieG200394 · 28/05/2020 09:47

@Nannon145 I felt like I had period like pains a few days ago but its since developed into that pulled a muscle like feeling, its so weird 😂 and unfortunately, I've been gassy since 1DPO... 🙈😂 I am now 7DP0 xx

SarahTTC2020 · 28/05/2020 11:59

@KatieG200394 I'm 3dpo and feel no different at all 🤷🏼‍♀️

Nannon145 · 28/05/2020 14:57

@SarahTTC2020 that's completely normal so don't worry! You may not get ovulation symptoms which is good because then you can't confuse them with pregnancy ones!!! Remember implantation doesn't happen until 6DPO onwards!

@KatieG200394 ooh interesting! I wonder what that is. Can't say I've had the same thing.
The only thing I noticed with my last pregnancy at the 6/7dpo stage was I got this feeling in my lower stomach which felt like I had a fireball in my stomach - like a hot tingly feeling, hard to explain!

EssJayyCee · 28/05/2020 15:09

Hi everyone.
I am currently 4dpo and I am trying so hard to stop thinking about everything but I just can"t do it!!

I keep thinking I have little twingey cramps but I also think I may be imagining it!

I have been TTC for 2 years and had a miscarriage in January2020. I can't wait for our little rainbow baby to show up!

SarahTTC2020 · 28/05/2020 15:13

Hi @essjaycee sorry to hear about your MC, fingers crossed for you!

steph1357 · 28/05/2020 16:09

Hi ladies, think I might be out, had bleeding for 2 days now and it’s got heavier today (though I still wouldn’t call it heavy). I’m only CD21 and 8dpo but think it must be AF as all the nausea etc I had a few days ago has gone now 🤷‍♀️

As I’m only just off the pill I don’t know what to expect of a regular AF so assuming this is it.

Holding out a bit of hope still but in a way feel like I can chill out a bit now knowing it’s probably a no!

steph1357 · 28/05/2020 16:41

@KatieG200394 I get what you mean about the stomach muscles, I feel like I’ve been doing sit ups too and notice it more when going for a wee - was thinking it might just be cos I’ve been so uptight for the last week waiting maybe 😳 xx

SarahTTC2020 · 28/05/2020 16:50

@steph1357 my cycles were shorter as I came off the pill and then got longer each cycle since so it can do funny things to it xx

steph1357 · 28/05/2020 16:53

Thanks @SarahTTC2020 I hadn’t realized they could be shorter, everything I’ve read said expect longer cycles. More than likely AF but I guess that means the sooner we can start trying again ☺️

SarahTTC2020 · 28/05/2020 16:56

@steph1357 yeah mine started off at around 30 days and now are 42/45. Before I went on the pill they were around 42 so 30 was short for me!

Exactly, if it's not going to be this month then you just want AF out of the way don't you xx

steph1357 · 28/05/2020 17:04

@SarahTTC2020 yes definitely! ☺️
