Testing around 13th May

We’ve been trying for number 2 for two years now and each month gets more emotionally difficult. Xx

AF hasn't arrived yet and but isn't due to another 6 days. My RHR has been dropping continuously over the past 4 days so I think I'm out this month. Thought I'd be able to relax about things and this TTC journey but I'm having so many sleepless nights!

I've decided to test again on Saturday with CB early detect. My symptoms now are a strange feeling in my stomache somewhere between nervousness and skipping breakfast, sore tingling boobs, headache and white discharge.

@SewingAddict419 Is white discharge an indication of early pregnancy?

@33Carr with you on the sleepless nights! How long have you been trying? Is this your first? TTC can take over your life. It's hard to take a step back when it's all happening in our own body.

@SewingAddict419 when is AF due again? It's certainly possible you were just a little early to test before. I'm also hoping my symptoms are good news!

@Sussexbysea ah that's a bummer. I hope you get on well with your thyroid, and that might result in more ttc luck.

@Skyla01 I love my sleep as well so it's not helpful haha! Yeah TTC #1. This is cycle number 2 after a MMC in March so not actually been trying that long compared to others but still frustrating

Hi ladies I’m new here, hope your all surviving lockdown. Me and my boyfriend have been ttc for 6 months. I came off the cilest pill after a few years in October 2019. We’ve only been ttc 2 times on ovulation days because we were doing it so much for the first 3 months I almost gave up a bit. I’m 24 hes 28. It was my birthday on the 1st may and it now been 2 weeks... I don’t no why I felt the need to test this morning but there was a faint line when I did!!! I’m due on in 5 days so I’m keeping my fingers crossed it stays positive. It took us about 7 months in total

@HopeWish thank you!! I think I'll try the SMEP too this month. Do you mind me asking... did you wait until positive ovulation to use preeseed or did you just do it in your fertile window? Thank you xxx

Hi Ladies, I don't know what came over me but I decided to test on an ovulation dip test (husband has hidden away all the preg tests until weekend)

Baring in mind I have had confirmed positive OV on 5th May... I am soooo confused 😐 I can see a faint line on the OV test that I've done now 😩 what does this mean??

Why am I ovulating twice in the space of 9 days?

@CaramelTart23 some tests will pick up the same hormones as a pregnancy test but it’s not recommend you test using ovulation tests

I used it once before +OPK and once when I had a +OPK.

@Sussexbysea I'm trying not to cave in by testing early 😩 so will be doing an actual preg test over the weekend

Phewww nearly had a mini heart attack, I thought my cycle was going crazy this month 😅

This might sound really stupid of me but I didn't know pregnancy and ovulation hormones were somewhat similar ?

The tests can detect a pregnancy hormone. So many people use them as preg tests but they are unreliable

@33Carr you might not have been trying all that long but you've been through a lot- a mmc must be awful I'm sorry.

@CaramelTart23 you can get a 2nd weaker lh surge during the tww I think? I would stick too peeing on pg tests myself!

@Sussexbysea I've also read the same as Sky said that you can get a second LH surge prior to AF

ladies i need your help. this is the first test i've been unsure of. i'm not 100% what dpo i am as didn't do any opks this month. i can't tell if it's a bfn (😞) and i have lime eyes or if this is a vvvvvvf bfp?? this is with my evening urine not holding for very long. inverted too. just feel like i can see a sort of something there! probably just me hoping but wanted opinions?

this one might help for reference too. couldn't see anything with a torch on or under it and was difficult to see on pics but i feel like there's something there!

Maybe wait till tomorrow for a morning pee that way you get a higher concentration of hcg

@carameltart23 yes done about 15 mins ago! i have a frer but af is due saturday so think i'm going to try and hold off instead of getting myself down about a BFN. it's so strange i'm always so certain of negative tests and was almost certain i was out this month but i feel like there is just something there! fingers crossed and thank you!

I read somewhere that milky white discharge could be a sign. I'm going to test in the morning, not sure if enough time has passed yet but we'll see 👢

@Sussexbysea Not 100%, but if my ov date was actually May 2 then it should be either sunday or monday

@mrsmumsy00 I hope a stronger line appears. Maybe wait and use your frer on Sunday if AF doesn't appear?

@SewingAddict419 good luck if you test today!! I usually dry up before AF but not this month so I think it can be a sign. I got my BFP this morning! Ttc for 14 months so am relieved and happy to finally see that 2nd line!
