Hi all,

I joined a similar thread last month and found it really supportive. It’d be great to hear from others.

We’ve been trying for number 2 for two years now and each month gets more emotionally difficult. Xx

@Bailey93 I am using strip tests called One Step. They have done an accurate job of testing OV I have no reason to believe this brand will be unreliable when it comes to testing pregnancy in a weeks time.
I wanted to attach a photo but I don’t know how lol?

CaramelTart23 · 10/05/2020 18:12

@lucymagoo I agree they’re pretty accurate!

Bailey93 · 10/05/2020 18:13

Thanks @lucymagoo and @CaramelTart23. When you go on reply there's a safety pin at the bottom. You attach a picture from there x

lucymagoo · 10/05/2020 18:14

I've been using FRER because apparently I love throwing money in the bin 🤦‍♀️ have ordered one-step from amazon but they're delayed of course

SewingAddict419 · 10/05/2020 18:17

@Bailey93 I just recently got the easy@home tests, and although the were def negative, I didn't see any hint of an evap line even hours later so probably no false positives on these. They're 25miu though so not very sensitive.

Bailey93 · 10/05/2020 18:18

Yep sounds like me with both of those... Grin I just can't help myself. I wouldn't be like this if we weren't in lockdown... well maybe lol. 4 days to go until AF.

lucymagoo · 10/05/2020 18:26

I’ve found this to stop me testing too early in future. 12dpo is the only time chances of picking up a BFP are over 50%

Oh wow that's good to know!!

CaramelTart23 · 10/05/2020 18:30

@Bailey93 ahhh looks like I can't send any pics as I'm a new user. 😩 but these are 10mlU which is very sensitive considering most tests are 25mlu and over.

SmileyT · 10/05/2020 18:38

@Bailey93 ahh give it a couple of days and test again but if you see a coloured line then it must've detected hcg. I've never tested early so no idea what is best for that last time I just used boots own brand, think it was like £1.50 and it came up straight away but I was about 6 weeks 😂

@CaramelTart23 I was weeing loads in my first week of TWW but I read that it doesn't happen until 2nd week but who knows. Glad you are feeling positive, just try and keep yourself busy for the next week until you can test ❤️

@lucymagoo I watched a YouTube video about how it's best to wait until day of AF or at least 13dpo as testing early tends to lead to more anxiety than waiting an extra couple days, so definitely going to aim for that 😬

Bailey93 · 10/05/2020 18:55

@SmileyT yep I deffo wish I didn't even test now... so anxious. I knew it would be this way! Definitely going to wait and see if AF arrives now. It is SO long. I'm so glad I have this little thread. How are you feeling today?

Dixie17 · 10/05/2020 19:40

10 DPO..cm dried up and tiny bit pink/brown. I think I’m out..

Boobs were sore but feel better today...some lower back pain. Arghhh!

Skyla01 · 10/05/2020 19:44

There is a website called countdown to pregnancy which has lots of fun stats about early symptoms and % of getting a positive test at each dpo.

mrsmumsy00 · 10/05/2020 19:49

in the same boat girls! only 9/10 DPO and did a test early this morning to a BFN dunno why i bothered as it wasn't even an early detection one! fingers crossed we're all posting our BFPS soon!

SmileyT · 10/05/2020 19:53

@Bailey93 On the test front if it's positive I don't care when I find out and if it's negative I just feel like it's a longer wait for the next cycle afterwards. I'm all good, 8dpo, I am really tired, think my boobs are bigger, had quite a lot of CM and been weeing loads but they could all just be pre-AF so I'm just waiting. How are you feeling outside of being anxious?

Bailey93 · 10/05/2020 20:21

@SmileyT good attitude to have I think! I have felt slightly sick all day, but only very slightly. Have very watery cm and nipples are starting to get sensitive which I don't normally get before AF. I did notice since yesterday I have been constipated too which was a tell time symptom for me last time before I had my mc. Sorry tmi. Hopefully all good signs!

Bailey93 · 10/05/2020 20:50

Tell tale*

TTCgee · 10/05/2020 21:02

AF just arrived :-( trying not to feel down but I've literally spent all day convinced I was! Urgh. 😭

Positives - a new month to try xxx

Bailey93 · 10/05/2020 21:08

@TTCgee owww I'm sorry 😩. Fx for next month! Thanks

TTCgee · 10/05/2020 21:19

@Bailey93 aww thank you. Had a little cry and feeling better now! Thank god for this group! 🙏🏼

SmileyT · 10/05/2020 21:46

@TTCgee sorry AF got you but as you say it's also the start of a fresh new month to ttc, won't be long until you're back in that fertile period ❤️

@Bailey93 they all seem like positive signs especially if you've had them at the same stage before 🙌🏾

SewingAddict419 · 10/05/2020 22:08

@TTCgee Feel like I'll be joining you shortly, got my usual feeling that AF is lurking around the corner. Maybe we'll be on similar cycles next month Smile

Sussexbysea · 11/05/2020 06:20

Sorry to all those whose AF arrived. I have a feeling I may be joining you soon so I’ll create another thread for June

raspberryjamlove · 11/05/2020 06:25

Oh no :( I think I will also be joining the May thread unfortunately, temps dropped the last 2 days and BFN on FRER on 13dpo. Feeling tired and emotional this morning, the BFN just sets you up horribly for the day and had a bad night with toddler who cried on and off. Hope everyone has a good day xx

Sussexbysea · 11/05/2020 06:52

@raspberryjamlove sorry to hear that. Being stuck at home with your emotions doesn’t help either. Please do talk with us, lots of us in the same position x
