Hi all,

I joined a similar thread last month and found it really supportive. It’d be great to hear from others.

We’ve been trying for number 2 for two years now and each month gets more emotionally difficult. Xx

@Jessdasilva the timing makes me think it could be ovulation bleeding, have you ever had it before? Hope it's a sign there was a big juicy egg popping out for you 🤞

@LynzP85 here's hoping that this turns into a BFP over the next few days and AF stays away.

To all those symptom spotting I think in the second half of the TWW it's completely normal, we know that implantation could have happened or is about to happen so every twinge or fart could be a sign. Also when we are ttc by this part of our cycles we are so desperate for answers. I always say trust your gut because we know our bodies better than anybody else. Good luck to those testing in the next few days ❤️❤️

Skyla01 · 08/05/2020 11:01

@Smiling124 I used to use clear blue digital opk. The price is the big downside but such clear unambiguous results! My cycle is regular so I only used them for a month or two to learn my cycle and now just use an app to track dates.

kirinm · 08/05/2020 11:08

@LynzP85 that is a BFP! Those tests are a nightmare and when I was pregnant with my DD they were still a weird blurry colour when I was getting 2+ weeks on a digital.

My AF is due on 20/05 so still a way to go. Due to ridiculous symptom spotting last month I wrote down every single "symptom" I had from the day of ovulation in the hope it calms me down this month. Not 100% sure when I ovulated but got what looked like a peak on an OPK on Tuesday so I guess ovulation could be either Tues or Weds - so maybe 2-3dpo at the moment.

Jessdasilva · 08/05/2020 11:18

@Smiling124 hopefully it is 🤞🤞 thank you. I've never paid that much attention to it but last month I noticed it but it was closer to AF arriving so we will see 🙈

I use clear blue digital this month for the 1st time and even though its expensive, it's worth it as you get a yes or no so there isn't a way of misinterpreting it.

This is my 1st month tracking ovulation. Does anyone know do u ovulate the same day each cycle or can it differ?

Same as everyone else.... feel like I'm analysing everything 😂 the more I try not to think about it, the more I do....lol

Hv a great day everyone xx

lucymagoo · 08/05/2020 12:08

I've ordered some more frer to arrive this afternoon, hopefully will get a clear answer! Praying for this month, it's my husband's bday next week and I have a lovely idea of how I'd tell him Smile

Sussexbysea · 08/05/2020 12:38

@lucymagoo when are you due to test?

OP posts:
Skyla01 · 08/05/2020 13:00

@Jessdasilva it just depends. Some people always ovulate on the same day, for others it can vary a lot. They say that the length of the luteal phase stays the same but the number of days from AF to ovulation can be more variable. Tracking for say 3 cycles with opk should give you an idea.

lucymagoo · 08/05/2020 13:06

@Sussexbysea I'm 9dpo but the extremely faint line I got yesterday is on my mind! Going to test when they arrive today to be sure

lucymagoo · 08/05/2020 13:22

Hopefully this is a clearer image

mrsmumsy00 · 08/05/2020 13:24

okay ladies so i am craving and have just made myself 6 lemon pancakes and a bowl of mashed potato😅 i better be pregnant otherwise my body is very strange 😂

mrsmumsy00 · 08/05/2020 13:25

@lucymagoo might just be me looking for it but i can see something there!! test in a couple of days! finger crossed for you!!

lucymagoo · 08/05/2020 13:30

@mrsmumsy00 this was yesterday and I have no self control so testing again this afternoon 😂 it's so unclear

Rumples · 08/05/2020 13:38

For those who know a lot about different preg tests and sensitivity etc.

I've only got a clear blue digital but I'm only 9dpo...do I have to wait until my period is late or could this pick it up early?

hayho87 · 08/05/2020 13:48

@Sussexbysea I think hubby is waking me up, not getting back to sleep is definitely an anxiety thing though! I've had some light cramps today and one or two pains in my boobs but nothing worth noting, I'm not feeling it for this month at all now! How are you? Xx

lucymagoo · 08/05/2020 13:58

I just retested and it looks the same as yesterday, was hoping for a more conclusive line or nothing at all! Still confused

kirinm · 08/05/2020 14:37

@rumples very unlikely to pick it up on a digital this early. It'll be a waste of a test. I'd wait until period is due or late.

Rumples · 08/05/2020 15:20

@kirinm

I thought as much thankyou! Only another 5 days to wait I guess

Skyla01 · 08/05/2020 15:21

@mrsmumsy00 lol, sounds tasty though! My appetite has been huge too but I wonder if it's just hormones.

@lucymagoo I think if you are testing frequently it will be really hard to see clear progression and you'll make yourself feel worse. Try leaving it 48hr, then it should be much clearer.

kim160790 · 08/05/2020 17:09

Hope it's ok to join... ovulated 30th April (according to app) and period not due until 15th may. This is my first cycle after coming off the pill early last month resulting in a 6 day withdrawal bleed. My symptoms so far have been..
Cramping since ovulation, aching lower back, feeling dizzy and a bit "off", aching right hip, restless legs at night 😫, tingly BBs with my areoles looking a little bit darker but not sure. I've checked my CP which feels high closed and soft but I have absolutely no CM which is strange as I always have some kind of CM throughout cycle so it's never dry ( sorry tmi). Another 7 days to go and dragging already

Dixie17 · 08/05/2020 19:37

Hello everyone..been lurking but thought I would say hi!..I will be joining you testing on 12/13th May.

I always manage to stay chilled for the first week after ovulation but have officially entered into mad, googling, symptom spotting stage.

Now for the TMI part...For the last few months (probably always been the case but only just noticing) but I seem to have way more discharge in the luteal phase...cloudy/white/lotiony. I really don’t get much EWCM around ovulation.I’d have to really got looking for it but it is there and coincides with clear blue static smiley.

Everything I read is that you usually dry up around this time. It’s not a pregnancy symptom as been this was for several months..and no BFP. Now working I have a hormonal imbalance and oestrogen dominance 🙈
Does anyone else experience this?

SmileyT · 08/05/2020 21:01

@Dixie17 I'm on my first full month ttc but have noticed a lot of creamy discharge, I'm 6dpo and even though online it says we should be dry it actually makes sense it would increase again as we have an oestrogen rise in LP which is similar to oestrogen rise in the middle of the FP so I've concluded we're normal 👌🏾

Jessdasilva · 08/05/2020 22:14

@Skyla01 thank you, makes sence now 🙈

beachbum85 · 09/05/2020 01:07

Hi again everyone! Just catching up and wanted to say a huge congrats to the BFPs on this thread Smile

Around 11dpo here and symptom spotting too. I only have sore boobs (as usual) and a few twinges, so I'm thinking it's prob AF once again. I think I'll test on Sun... SMEP suggests Mon but in the unlikely case it's a BFP, I'd rather find out when I don't have a day of work ahead of me. I think by 13dpo I should have waited long enough? I'm using the excuse of having only 1 test in the house to keep me away until then!

Fingers tightly crossed for all and @lucymagoo let us know Daffodil

SmileyT · 09/05/2020 06:14

@kim160790 Welcome 🙌🏾 how long were you on the pill for? It's a good sign you had cramping around ovulation, as it's a sign the app predicted correct fingers crossed for your bfp x

Cheesybiscuits01 · 09/05/2020 06:34

Early testing. Why do we do this to ourselves? 12dpo. Tested with an asda test that apparently you can use 4 days early. BFN. So disappointed and wasted test.
