Testing around 13th May

I joined a similar thread last month and found it really supportive. It’d be great to hear from others.

We’ve been trying for number 2 for two years now and each month gets more emotionally difficult. Xx

@LKSF I know I hate having to tell DP too, feels like a double blow!

@lucymagoo I can't see a line but it's still early- try again in a few days and hopefully it is more obvious then.

@Sussexbysea @Skyla01 yes think I'll test again tomorrow, it's clear in the pic before it got uploaded and turned up in the time frame etc etc so I'm quite hopeful it's not an evap or anything. But yes very very faint and stronger on one end than the other so who knows. I'm 8dpo today and AF due on 12th according to my app.

@SmileyT thanks i hope so, im CD22 today and finally got a peak on opk. Im hoping for a longer cycle this month for a longer leutal phase 🤞🏼🤞🏼

@Lottie3093 I just came back on here to say that I've finally got my peak too! I'm on CD18, so ovulation most likely CD19 and the past two months my cycles have been 28 days and 29 days, so I'm hoping this month will be a longer cycle too 🤞

It's my first month using opks and I'm so glad I am because my apps were saying ovulation on Monday, so I may have got my timings all wrong without them!

So I'll no doubt be testing a bit later than most people on here, but I hope to see lots of BFPs soon!

@bluebubbles12 aww good, I'm pleased for you.
Its the first time Ive used opks too and like you its a good job as my fertile window on my apps was showing as finished on 2nd when it actually started on the 3nd!

Hi everyone, can i join?

been ttc for 7 cycles now for baby number 1! most apps and online sites are showing i ovulated between 29th april and 2nd may, and af is due 16th so the same time as a lot of you lovelies! really starting to lose faith and hope now.

i am also a poas addict and i'm constantly symptom spotting which tends to get me excited for nothing, so it'd be great to have some other mummies to be to relate to!

definitely feeling different this time, not sure if it's just hoping but some things just seem slightly unusual. planning on doing a FRER on monday and then again on the 16th.

I caved and did a test today, BFN. AF due on Sunday... makes me feel like I'm out but I know can be too early. Just feel really shit and I'm £7 down 😂

I have a clear blue digital that's the golden test I'm going to use if I am late.

I've only told a couple of people that we are TTC but they have said 'when you stop trying it will happen'.. it really triggers me!

@mrsmumsy00 welcome! We’re all hating on the cost of tests at the moment 😂

I’m testing on the 16th too, I think there’s a few of us actually. So far we’ve had one BFP on the thread, hoping for more in the next week.

Hi Guys, hope you dont mind me joining 😉 congratulations on the BFP in the group.

I'm also due to do a test around the 14th/15th next week. I have a question and wonder if anyone can help.

My peak was on Monday so assuming I ovulated around Tuesday. I noticed on Wednesday late evening a small streak of red blood when I wiped. Today a few times I've had a small amount of brown blood when I wipe... anyone had this before? Feeling anxious 😥 but cant be implantation as to early and only due my AF on the 16th or 17th so cant be linked to that 🙈 any advice will be welcome xx

Anyone else questioning their mentality when it comes to "symptoms" I'm 9dpo sitting here with heartburn which I'm prone to and feeling queasy. I know it's just overthinking but can't help it!! Grrrr

@hayho87 so am i!! i got really hot and sweaty at work today whilst my manager was cold, and for some reason the newspapers smelt really strong?? i also keep getting twinges, heartburn and headaches but i can't help but worry it's my mind looking for it and playing tricks on me!

@mrsmumsy00 I hope it's not in our heads! I'm just laying in bed and analysing every inch of my body, not a good idea!! 😂 I'm sure my tummy feels different but I've thought this before and still got AF so I don't trust my body now! X

Hi everyone, I get abit lost on the thread in the day, trying hard to block it out so not to test until the 14th!
I havent tried testing ovulation and if this month the one I want to try and test. Could anyone recommend a brand or starting point?

@Smiling124 hi! I use the clear blue advanced digital it's not cheap but easy to use and there's no ambiguity over a positive or not x

@hayho87 i know right?! i've has it many times where i was like "yeah this is it i'm sure" and then i get a bfn followed by AF the next day🤦‍♀️ i'm going to do a frer monday (5 days before AF expected) and if nothing then using my clear blue day of AF! something just feels different this time if you get me? ahhh if it's my body playing tricks again i'm going to punish it by getting extremely drunk 😂

@Smiling124 it's my first month using opks so I just bought some cheap ones off Amazon called One Step. For around £8 you get 50. It was ideal for me with it being my first month and not really wanting to spend loads whilst I figured it all out. Then I've downloaded an app called Fermometer and that reads your scores for you and tells you when you're peak. If nothing happens over the next couple of months I'll probably move to a digital test to see if that helps.

Thanks @hayhoe87 and @bluebubbles12 i will give them a go! Praying this month is successful as I know I will become abit obsessed using them! Just impatient I think!!

@mrsmumsy00 haha me too! I'm awake now at 2:34, hubby's snoring has woken me up every day this week around the same time. But I'm laying here now with a pain in my boobs not too distant from a wind pain wondering....it's probably wind, who am I kidding! I'm now in the guest room, luckily we have one I can escape to! X

I tried boots own brand and they were shockingly bad!! I use Ovia for my tracking app too and it’s spot on to the day for ovulation and Aunt Flo.

I’m 9dpo and definitely symptom spotting like crazy so you’re not alone guys who are doing the same! Going to be testing on 15th or likely waiting until I miss my period that day.

Today is DPO10 for me, and CD30. My period usually rocks about between CD30-33.

Last month I ovulated CD14-16 and period came CD30.
This month I ovulated CD20-22.... caved this morning and took a test... I’ve got mild cramping today but I feel like it’s AF preparing to appear!
