@notyetamumbuttrying I know I’m not sure if it’s because I have never taken this much notice of my body or whether these are actual symptoms. Not that I have had many. I really hope there is stuff happening down there and not of the AF kind! I’m also slightly confused with the Clearblue tests as I have two different packs, the fast and easy one says to dip test for 5 seconds and the early result one says to dip for 20 seconds. I feel so out of my depth with all of this 😂

Good luck for testing tomorrow I’ll have my fingers crossed for you 😁🤞🏼

SmileyT · 13/05/2020 13:27

@J0DI3 @notyetamumbuttrying @MrsDh2019 @Noble89

Sounds like we are all in the same boat but just think by this time next week we'll know for certain and either be into a new cycle or celebrating a BFP x

J0DI3 · 13/05/2020 13:30

@SmileyT I think at this rate I’ll just be glad to know either way so I can plan the next steps! I just hate the wait 😂

notyetamumbuttrying · 13/05/2020 13:34

@J0DI3 aww thank you! I always get twinges though so I need to just calm myself down lol!
@SmileyT that's a great way to look at it! I have some vita dha to start taking now too, heard this is a good supplement so thought I'd try it out cd1.

MrsDh2019 · 13/05/2020 13:49

@SmileyT yeah exactly! Well I keep going upstairs to stare at my tests even though I’m fully aware they’ve gone past their readable limit 🤣 but I can deffo see a faint line I’m just questioning if it’s pink or grey 🤷🏻‍♀️ I have definitely got weird cramps happening which I dont usually get (it’s normally dull aches when I’m due AF) ?! I guess only time will tell! Going to take DS for a little walk to take my mind off it all and distract me for a whole hour 😂😁🤞🏼 Best of luck to you all look forward to hearing if any of us are celebrating BFP in the next few days ladies X

J0DI3 · 13/05/2020 14:34

Ahhhhh my FRER has arrived!

Noble89 · 13/05/2020 14:35

@MrsDh2019 yes we're definitely around the same time! Definitely sounds like you have symptoms soaybe test again tomorrow morning? Even better if you can hold out a couple of days but I know I wouldn't be able to 😂. Lockdown definitely doesn't help, what you need on the TWW is distractions and to keep busy and lockdown provides neither of those things!

@SmileyT I think that's the big thing isn't it? You just want to know one way or the other. I'll be sad of I'm not pregnant but it's only cycle one so I won't be surprised. I'm just sick of wondering and noticing every little twinge thinking 'oh could that mean something' I've got quite a noticeable cramp and I'm feeling it in my back too but at this stage it could honestly be nothing. I'm also super lucky and have really good skin, like I might have had 10 spots in my whole life before pregnancy. My last PG I broke out in loads of little spots on my chest, like even my partner said that's so weird I don't think I've ever seen you with a spot and they're all over your chest. Woke up today with a spotty chest 😭. I just want to know, I wish I didn't have any symptoms as they're making me hope for the best but my gut is just telling me it's not my month and it's all in my head.

MrsDh2019 · 13/05/2020 14:46

@Noble89 yeah I definitely am not that patient but doing an inconclusive test this morning just put me in a bad mood for the day and I have work tomorrow (funnily enough I work on a post natal ward) so if I do another rubbish test and have to look at newborns all day I’m going to be really gutted! 😪
I hope your symptoms are true symptoms as with mine I’m holding out hope but I’m the same as you my gut it telling me it’s a no 😥 we will see! I’ll keep you all posted ofcourse x

Dreaming101 · 13/05/2020 15:15

@notyetamumbuttrying did you find out about the vita DHA through Louisa Zissman? I saw her maybe baby blog and am thinking of buying some on the coq10

notyetamumbuttrying · 13/05/2020 15:25

@Dreaming101 it was some woman on the Flo app actually lol! She was using that and coq10 to lengthen her cycle from 25 to 28 days (I have short cycles too), so if I'm not pregnant this time then I'll buy some coq10 as well. Vita is ok for pregnancy too. Not sure whether you can take pregnacare alongside coq10 and vita dhd though? Will prob just stop on the pregnacare and swap over to the other two.

Dreaming101 · 13/05/2020 15:34

@notyetamumbuttrying that’s good to know that it’s being recommended elsewhere too. I’ve not been taking pregnacare I’ve been taking the natural alternative but the tablets are HUGE! I may try the vita DHA and Coq10 too if no luck this month. How long have you been TTC? This is really my first cycle and I am so confused by it all🙈.
I always thought I’d come off the pill and be so relaxed about it but wow I’m so not relaxed at all. All I can think of is being a mummy and my husband being a dad

notyetamumbuttrying · 13/05/2020 16:14

@Dreaming101 I'm on cycle 8 now and it's been a long road so far. I like you thought I would just come off the pill and get lucky but nope lol! I have a feeling it will take a year but we'll see. I'm also 34 so age might be playing a part. Hopefully you're one of the lucky ones though! My husband was so not ready when we first started lol but he knew I wasn't waiting any longer once we were bk from honeymoon so I think he's been pretty chill up until recently. He was actually really gutted last month when I came on. We stood and hugged for ages. I thought he was gonna cry!

Ltay2 · 13/05/2020 16:37

@Dreaming101 I found out via Luisa and I have been taking Vital DHA for 3 months now in preparation and just started COQ10 this cycle!

notyetamumbuttrying · 13/05/2020 16:41

@Ltay2 do you take anything else as well? There's so much out there, bit of a minefield at times!

Ltay2 · 13/05/2020 16:54

@notyetamumbuttrying The only other things I take are what is advised on NHS website so Folic Acid and Vitamin D, don't want to go overboard at the early stages would rather see what my body is capable of (or not) first 🤣

Dreaming101 · 13/05/2020 17:07

@notyetamumbuttrying aw I bet it had been but hopefully not much longer for you now!
My hubby and I got married in 2018 and he wasn’t quite ready until now so we waited ( I would have tried straight away) but he was being sensible. He’s finally keen and I worry it’s going to take forever! I’m 23 so hoping my age will go in our favour. @Ltay2 ah yes and the folic acid! I ordered that from her link

notyetamumbuttrying · 13/05/2020 17:20

@Ltay2 ha yeah I hear you! All sound very sensible though, best of luck 🍀
@Dreaming101 yeah you should be fine at 23 and you've got years ahead of you still so just enjoy each other and defo don't kick yourself if it doesn't happen straight away. I'm 34, so a granny in comparison lol! I ideally would like to have a baby before I'm 35 in March next year so still within range...for now 😂

Dreaming101 · 13/05/2020 17:39

@notyetamumbuttrying Not even close to being counted as a granny!
Trying not to kick myself but find it so hard not to as it’s all I’ve wanted since we met was to settle down and have a family. Admittedly 6 years ago I would not have been ready despite wanting it!

notyetamumbuttrying · 13/05/2020 17:43

@Dreaming101 ah thank you, I like to exaggerate of course lol!
You've got so much time honestly, it will happen. Just enjoy each other and do lots of things together (when we can leave our homes lol) and it'll happen before you know it! Wink

SmileyT · 13/05/2020 17:47

Hey ladies how are we all doing? Just seen my friend for a socially distanced walk around the park, 1st friend I've seen since my MC in March and she brought me a wine and didn't want to explain I wasn't drinking, I'm pretty sure I'm not pregnant but now I'm feeling like I've sent a message to the fertility gods that this isn't important to me 😩😩

Also I was reading about men cycling can be terrible for fertility, my DP has been cycling into work since lockdown to avoid the London Underground now I'm worried that it's pointless even trying right now. Ahh why is my mind so muddled 😕

notyetamumbuttrying · 13/05/2020 17:55

@SmileyT I really wouldn't worry about one wine my love. I still drink whilst trying.
I haven't heard about the cycling thing but I'm sure it can't cause that much damage or no professional cyclists would ever be fathers. Don't beat yourself up for the thoughts going round in your head. Allow yourself a set amount of time to worry and then tell yourself no more. It won't do you any good.

SmileyT · 13/05/2020 19:36

Thanks @notyetamumbuttrying I've just done a meditation on YouTube and feeling much better, I actually don't think having a drink is bad I just got myself panicked about it for some reason 🙈 Think my iPhone was listening to me as when I went into my femometer app it came up with this 👇

May Bus
notyetamumbuttrying · 13/05/2020 19:40

Oh god @SmileyT 😱 that's a bit freaky!

Dreaming101 · 13/05/2020 20:17

Hey @SmileyT I wouldn’t worry too much about the wine, you could have half a glass and dilute with lemonade? That’s what i the light weight over here does even when not TTC🙈

Has anyone had their DH take any vitamins or supplements?

SmileyT · 13/05/2020 20:25

@notyetamumbuttrying so random, my phone is definitely listening/ or reading as I didn't actual say I'd had a drink out loud.

@Dreaming101 yes it was only one glass and definitely not the end of the world. My OH started taking CoQ10 and pregnacare pre-conception vitamins this month (obviously no idea if they've done any good) x
