I won't test unless AF doesn't show up, so probably around 18dpo on the 20th, no symptoms that couldn't be pre-AF symptoms. Only my first full month looking at all this so don't really know what's normal or not for me - either way I'll find out over the next week or so 😬

@EllieJai44 I am so glad we have each other to lean on as I’m finding it difficult to not talk about it with friends. It’s nice to have a safe space to just talk to people who understand. I will keep you updated on testing when it happens.

@Noble89 no definitely not tempted to test early me and DP are set on the 20th. That's such a nice idea to surprise yours, unfortunately mine knows when I got the peak and how many days after I expect my period so it's in his diary already 😂 glad you are feeling better after a good sleep, I kinda woke up with a headache probably should've gone without the 5.30 temp check this morning.

@J0DI3 know exactly how you feel! I have a friend who is also TTC, shes been trying for 11 months but she doesnt really have sex over the right time or very often due to her OH not being invested and she gets really upset if anyone she knows gets a BFP or if her period shows, so its hard to talk to her without feeling like I'm hurting her feelings....

There is definitely a line there - I am positive it will darken as the days go on. How great 😊

@SmileyT I am doing well. I am currently 7PO and it is the evening here. In terms of symptoms I started getting dull cramping yesterday and today had a little cramping in the afternoon.

Last cycle when I got a BFP I felt constant dull moment cramping at 10DPO, so I am feeling a bit hopeful atm because I have felt the cramping earlier? Not sure if thats a positive sign but I am using anything right now just to be in a positive headspace right now.
I am taking on exactly what you’ve said - we can’t change the outcome so why spend energy feeling doubtful.
Positivity is a much nicer way of feeling i’ve realised ❤️

Last time I got a BFP 12DPO so I think I will hang out till Saturday and not test any earlier. Realistically I’d like to wait even longer, but 12DPO is definitely the earliest I’ll test.

@EllieJai44 that must be hard for her! I think my DH is more excited than me but he’s just making the TWW worse for me as I am feeling the pressure 😂 Hopefully a few more of us will join the BFPs 🤞🏼

@EllieJai44 Ahh that's fantastic! My cramping was quite bad yesterday so I'm hoping that's a positive sign but you just never know! We'll find out on Thursday!

@J0DI3 fingers crossed for you lovely! I'm a few days behind you, 7DPO but will test on Thursday @ 10DPO. You're right, it's so good to have this thread. People who aren't TTC just don't get it. It consumes your thoughts and you don't want to sound like a crazy person reporting every little symptom to your friends or DP but you've got to get it off your chest and everyone here understands and is doing the same thing.

@SmileyT I'm so impressed by your resolve! I know it's way too early but I was so tempted to test this morning. I did hold off though and I will wait until 10DPO. Mine knows when I ovulated to be fair but he's not put 2 and 2 together as he asked this morning when I can test and I told him a week today and he was just like 'oh ok' 😂.

I'm definitely feeling more positive today. I felt a bit nauseas this morning and I had a really long sleep which is unlike me but seems to have done me good!

@beautifuldream I'm 7DPO too! I had really noticeable cramping yesterday so hoping that's a good sign but not getting my hopes up as you just never know. I'll be testing 10DPO. I got a clear positive at 11DPO with my last pregnancy so think it would have shown at 10. I know it could be too early though so won't be expecting a BFP.

@Noble89 I’ve decided I don’t want to talk to friends and family about TTC purely for the reason of keeping it private and between DH and I! Plus if we do experience problems I don’t want to keep going over it. Quite a few have negative opinions due to Coronavirus too and I can’t be dealing with that negativity 😂

I have ordered some FRERs as keep seeing that people say they are the best. I also read they can detect the smallest amount of pregnancy levels. I’m so tempted to test but only have the Clearblue tests. I’m going to try and hold out. I’ve not really experienced any symptoms which is something else I’ve worried about but what will be will be! Fingers crossed for us all x

@J0DI3 if you're testing early I'd definitely say go with FRER as they are the most sensitive. I got a BFP at 11DPO last time and it was a clear positive which is why I'm.going to start testing 10DPO this time.

Yeah we're not telling anyone either. We told our families last time and then I had the miscarriage so this time I should have an early scan at around 8 weeks due to my previous molar pregnancy so will probably tell friends and family after the 8 week scan

First response definitely seem to have worked well for me! We decided to tell my parents in case anything happens and so they can have my little girl, so I brought another FRER and went to my parents, did the test to show them in person!

Considering its a midday pee with like 2 hour hold- its a pretty good line!

@Noble89 I hope the FRERs don’t take too long to arrive! But I suppose the good thing with waiting for them to arrive means a bit later testing. I’m sure I’ll be POAS as soon as they arrive 😂

Yeah I would like to wait until we get to the 12 week mark before telling people but I doubt DH will be able to stay quiet!

@Blossom93 How are u feeling? Has it sunk in yet you've got your BFP? 🤭 I haven't tested again but will test again Wednesday when I'm a week late just to clarify it sort of thinking so I'm not thinking 'what if' I've given up all hope of AF arriving 😂

Questions for u girls that temp... obviously my AF has just not appeared so I've just started taken OPKs & doing my temp, I don't have a full chart as only been 3 days I've started now (just doing it so I dont miss ovulation) but I'm wondering what everybody's normal temp is? Mines have been high the past 3 days & I have set an alarm for 7am so taken it at the same time in those days, it's just when I look at everyone else's charts mines seems like sky high compared to others 🤷🏼‍♀️

@KRK05 thanks! I'm such a worrier! My temp as of this morning (only by ear thermometer) was 37.7 which is high for me!

Did you track ovulation last cycle?

@KRK05 My usual baseline temp is around 97.33 F which is 36.3 C. Make sure you are getting at least 4 hours of solid sleep before you temp too as lack of sleep can affect it!

@EllieJai44 Your tests are looking great though try not to worry 🤗 I didnt track ovulation was first month TTC so thought we would just wing it basically, now I wish I did cause I'm 5 days late on AF & I cant even say 'well I ovulated late' or maybe even not atall I just dont know where I am. I have no signs of AF coming so that's why I thought il just start tracking (even though it's not a great time to start) just incase I dont start AF atall & maybe ovulate a bit earlier than predicted for this cycle I would be on now. Oh yeah that is a high temp, mines has been just under 37 the past 2 days then 37.1 today, was worried I'm broken 🤷🏼‍♀️😂

@Ltay2 Its maybe cause I'm temping at a weird time in my cycle that mines are bit higher then 🤔

@KRK05 oh thats odd, are you usually late? Or quite regular? With my daughter I was 9 days late before I got a positive test! I didnt track that cycle so couldn't say if it was due to late ovulation or not

@EllieJai44 Nope I'm always regular 28 day cycles, I mean in the past very few times I have been 1 or 2 days late but never this long, I am gonna take a test on Wednesday when I'm a week late & then that way il know for sure (even though I dont think I'm pregnant just a off month probably) I think we get the feeling when were pregnant or not & I just dont have those feelings I just think Mother Nature is hating on me 🙄😂

That's funny u say that cause 2 of my friends & my sister all with there daughters didnt get a positive pregnancy test until a while after their AF with their daughters but before AF with their sons, I read that someplace else too, something to do with girls implant late & boys implant earlier. I mean probably not accurate just an old wifes tale 🤷🏼‍♀️

@KRK05 hopefully its just because you ovulated late and then it will be positive! 🤞

hmm in a way I hope not as all my previous miscarriages were before AF due that I got a positive....someone once said to me that I might not be able to carry boys and now I have that stuck in my head 🤦‍♀️

Hi all, I hope you don’t mind me joining. Congrats to all the BFPs, I love gearing good news!

I am 8dpo and I’ve woken today feeling awful, tired, cramping, eating everything but then feeling sick. This is only our second month of TTC and last month I was convinced I had symptoms so don’t want to get my hopes up. Is it too early to POAS?? Xx

@EllieJai44 Aw try not to worry I haven't even heard a story on women can only carry a certain gender (I've never researched it though) I just know the Male sperm determines the gender. My 2 MC were after AF 🤷🏼‍♀️ & my Ectopic this year was before AF. Youl be fine your line is actually great for 10DPO 🤞🏻💜

@Kodasmom All your symptoms sound positive I hope it's your month 🤞🏻 as for too early to POAS I have no clue I think 10DPO is the earliest but some do get a BFP before then. Good luck!

@KRK05 sorry you've experienced that! I've had 3 myself! The most recent was baby died at 9 and half weeks, we had seen a heartbeat at 8 weeks 🤦‍♀️ i hope no one has to go through any of that!
