Thank you for being so welcoming guys Smile @KRK05 @beautifuldream
@carsmith @noble89

@SmileyT i used cleablue digital ovulation predictor (DH bought them last month when AF was late, and despite being pretty certain we had a low chance that i was pregnant, i asked him to grab a test from the shop and he came home with them!Grin)
So i guess it might have been a day out, but i tested positive on that 22nd Apr.
I can only wait and see. Feel a lot happier just seeing people replying and being so kind!

SmileyT · 08/05/2020 09:59

@beautifuldream 4dpo this makes sense with an AF 18/19th - probably confused me a bit as we are in different time zones so I'd just woken up and added a day 🙈

Hope it's not too cold for you in your winter lockdown, the sunny days in LDN are making this slightly more tolerable... we actually get to have bbqs for a couple weekends at the moment.

I'm CD20 - 6dpo - honestly I think I've done everything I can this month. But after a MC at 9.5weeks in March with a pg conceived completely by accident, the first month after ttc I thought it would happen straight away and it was a bit of a shock it didn't. So I'm just keeping my expectations low for self-preservation. I've told myself if I'm pregnant before August I'll be happy which is 5 months, would love it earlier but we can only do so much and don't want to put my whole life on hold waiting for it, although there is nothing else to do in lockdown.

@Noble89 I'm normally pretty logical and everything I've read tells me that you can't have symptoms in the first 7/8dpo BUT I've also read so many anecdotal stories of women saying they had nausea from the day after conception because their bodies just know. Fingers crossed your body is doing something unusual and it will be positive news in 6 sleeps time ❤️

@carsmith last month I ovulated at CD18 and this month it was CD14 so I wouldn't be too worried because I think it moves around a bit along with cycle lengths. Think I read anything between 11 and 25 is considered normal - also means your body has more time to get a lovely thick uterus lining and a nice plump egg👌🏾

@JB23 I think CB is like 99% accurate so you are probably right with dates. Like Noble said false positives are very rare as they have to find hcg to have any colour, so if you saw a line you'll see another one - congrats and excited to hear the update on Sunday 🥰🥰🥰

EllieJai44 · 08/05/2020 10:05

Morning ladies, I woke super early because of DD but DH got up with her so I got a lay in! 👌

7dpo today and so far feel nothing 😂🤦‍♀️ I know its so early but still in my brain I'm convinced that because I feel normal I'm out 🙄

@beautifuldream thats great it was only a day late! That means you will probably be a day late but let's hope you're 9 months late!! 🤞

@Noble89 I will probably test at 10dpo too! I'm still taking ovulation tests as never taken throughout a whole cycle so curiosity has struck me! Haha its not good because I still fret over those 🤦‍♀️ back in October I got a vfl at 11dpo and then by 13dpo it was a decent line 🤞

@SmileyT @Noble89 @beautifuldream you guys feeling anything??

@carsmith my cycles are always 32-33 days long so ovulate later than average, this month I got my peak on CD18 so probably ovulated CD19, it makes for a long wait! Today I'm CD26

KRK05 · 08/05/2020 11:24

@SmileyT I'm on CD30 which is a bit unusual for me especially as I had AF pains week before was due, I'm starting to think I've maybe stressed myself in the TWW I've caused my AF to be late or Mother Nature hates me so away give me long cycles cause I'm TTC 😭 il give it a few days cause I am sure I have been late in the past by a few but never more than that, then il start to panic 😂

DKDK123 · 08/05/2020 11:27

@SmileyT I was one of those that started being not just nauseous but full round the clock morning sickness from 7dpo with my son (and it lasted all the way to 17weeks, it wasnt a fun time!). It was so early that pregnancy hadnt even crossed my mind for the first few hours of being sick, I thought I was very hungover as I'd been at a party the night before but it's not like me to be sick with alcohol and it was going on for so long that I did a test just on the off chance to rule pregnancy out. I wasnt even sitting eagerly watching the stick to change as I had done every other month before as I was so sure it would be negative, glanced at it and got the shock of my life it wasnt even particularly faint it was a definite positive and that was with an internet cheapie a full week before my period was even due! My body must just have produced a tonne of hormones straight away.

I've had 2 chemicals this time round trying and both of them I knew to test early as I felt nauseous early again (but wasnt actually being sick this time). One i got a positive 9dpo (5days before AF) it was a faint positive tho and didnt get any darker. Started bleeding about a week after my period was due.

The second time I was nauseous early again but it was later than the first I think it was 3 days before my period, this test was faint, got darker for 3 days then started to go lighter again.

But all 3 times I've been sick/nauseous before my period was even due so I must just have one of those bodies that picks up on pregnancy hormones super early. Crossing my fingers and toes I start to be sick this month......never thought I'd wish for morning sickness, I'm pretty sure I said last time after we'd hit the 12 week mark and the sickness still wasnt stopping that I was never ever doing it again 😂

SmileyT · 08/05/2020 11:51

@KRK05 when do you think you ovulated? If apps think you ovulated early you may not be due AF yet and could still be in with a shot. When did you take your last test?

@DKDK123 yeah one of my best friends is 32 weeks pg and she was sick from before her missed period to about 4 months, the Dr told her it was because some people are allergic to hcg, so basically as soon as it hits your bloodstream your body reacts to it however little is in there. Also they say an early implantation means it's a boy as in IVF something like 70% of implantation before 8 days are boys ☺️ In my MC pg I had zero physical symptoms kinda hoping I will next time just for some peace of mind x

@EllieJai44 nothing yet from me apart from creamy CM but google tells me this is normal for this part of cycle as oestrogen increases again... hopefully the next few days will reveal some clues for us.

KRK05 · 08/05/2020 12:08

@SmileyT Apps have put me for ovulation CD14/15 but that's cause I'm normally a standard 28 day cycle. So if I ovulated early on in my fertile week I'd be like 17DPO & the last test I took wouldve been 14DPO but was BFN but if I ovulated like end of my fertile week it puts my AF due to Monday 🤔 it's all so confusing!

Blossom93 · 08/05/2020 12:35

Hi ladies. I hope you’re all having a lovely bank holiday with this weather! Sorry I haven’t been posting, I have been driving myself mad with work and the TWW so just wanted a little break from the stressing!

@KRK05 I hope you’re okay? Have you done any tests since we last spoke? I have tried to catch up on the thread but there’s so many posts 😹 I’m due on Sunday so last Monday was too early to test yep (I didn’t realise you had to include the date of your AF) and of course got a BFN. Did a test this morning and got a faint positive I think so have ordered more FRER tests and am going to take one on Sunday if AF doesn’t arrive.

🌸🌸🌸

KRK05 · 08/05/2020 12:43

@Blossom93 Good to sometimes take a break away from the TWW, stressing isnt good for us.

The last test I took was Tuesday which was BFN so I'm not going to test again unless I got to like midway next week which would make me a week late for AF. I've probably stressed myself & made my AF late which is more torturing cause I just want to be on CD1 again.

How exciting u got a faint line today, keep everything crossed for u 🤞🏻🤞🏻💕

Blossom93 · 08/05/2020 12:58

@KRK05 definitely. So happy it’s a bank holiday weekend too to get that extra lie in!

That’s so frustrating about your AF. Are you usually regular? I suppose it could be the stress, but hopefully it’s good news! You have such amazing willpower to wait until mid week to test! Keeping everything crossed for you too 🤞🏻💕

DKDK123 · 08/05/2020 13:17

@SmileyT I didnt know you could be allergic to hcg but that makes sense and is probably why I felt nauseous so early on. I really should just stop wasting money and disappointment POAS and just wait till my own body tells me with sickness. Didnt know about the boys usually being early implanters too, that's interesting! Constantly learning new things on this crazy journey and it's not even my first 😂

@blossom93 exciting times for your faint, keeping everything crossed for you it gets darker 🤞

Aaj04 · 08/05/2020 13:20

Hello ladies I hope you're all well! Really sorry about this useless post but I really need to let it out.

AF was due yesterday but still not yet. I tested yesterday and its a BFN! Its just so annoying! I wish I could speak to AF and tell her to please show her face so I can on with the next cycle. I'm on CD37 and honestly it's been the longest cycle ever!!

So done! I hope you're all having a better time than me 😂 so glad to have MN where I can related to everyone and share feelings. Reading everyone's struggles and BFP stories really lift up the mood. Thank you all and all the best with everything xx

KRK05 · 08/05/2020 13:20

@Blossom93 I'm always regular yeah so it is frustrating & I'm only refusing to test as I've had 3 BFN this cycle so I doubt I am pregnant so dont see the point tbh 😂 I've read a lot of posts of girls being late on their AF recently thinking maybe it's the whole lockdown/stress & I stay in Scotland was just announced yesterday we are on lockdown for another 3 weeks 🙈 trying not to think too much it is CD30 I think maybe once got to CD35 then I'd be worried a bit about my cycles as highly unusual for me. So I just hope AF makes an appearance soon 🤞🏻 keep us updated how your test over weekend goes hope it's a nice dark BFP 💜

Blossom93 · 08/05/2020 14:22

Thank you @DKDK123 I have everything crossed atm!

@KRK05 how annoying when you’re usually regular. Very true, lockdown may have something to do with it as it’s a complete change of usual routine isn’t it. I have worried that it may mess with my cycle too as I’ve been nowhere near as active as normal. I’ve got my fingers crossed for you anyways! And will let you know how it goes on Sunday 🤞🏻🌸

beautifuldream · 08/05/2020 15:24

@SmileyT I don’t feel anything at this point. I’ve been trying my very hardest this cycle to ease up on the symptom spotting. I mean of course I am
still listening to my body but trying my best to fill up my day to distract myself so I am not creating symptoms in my head lol! I think if I get to 8/9 DPO and don’t feel any cramping ill be a bit bummed as that’s when I felt constant cramping last cycle which I assume was initial stages of implantation. I never ever get cramping only the day of AF, so If i get them earlier I feel its a good sign. How about you? Are you feeling anything?

Noble89 · 08/05/2020 15:57

@SmileyT - I swear we're the same person. I'm super logical so I'm telling myself I KNOW this can't be symptoms this early but there's definitely something up with me for sure and it's mimicking pregnancy symptoms which frankly is a bit of a piss take! 😂. I'm still having crampy sensations like the most nigly mild period pain and it seems to happen at just random points throughout the day and I felt super nauseous this morning I actually got out of bed as I thought I was going to throw up. I thought I might have a stomach bug but I feel fine now. It's just weird. I also wonder if this is something that happens regularly at this point in my cycle and because I'm not so hyper aware it doesn't register.

@EllieJai44 I definitely think 10DPO is the day to start if you're like me and unable to wait till AF is actually due. I'm going to make a point of not testing every day though. I'll do every other day from 10DPO. In terms of symptoms as I said above I really am noticing mild cramping and some nausea. But I'm only 4DPO so realistically it's incredibly unlikely it's anything baby related and I probably just have a bit of a bug.

@KRK05 perhaps a test will actually bring on AF if it's negative? Numerous times in my wayward youth I'd be stressed incase I was pregnant if I forgot to take my pill and legit my period would REFUSE to arrive until I took a test and confirmed. I think the stress of thinking about it and worrying prevented the start and as soon as I confirmed not pregnant my period would arrive.

KRK05 · 08/05/2020 16:27

@Noble89 I've already taking tests which were all negative so to be honest I'm 100% certain I ament pregnant anyway & I'm weirdly ok with that as it was our first cycle so seeing the BFN I was like 'ok bring on my AF' cause I'm so looking forward to do OPKs for cycle#2 😂 maybe cause in my head I'm wanting AF it's not appearing 🤦🏼‍♀️ I am super busy this weekend though so hopefully will take my mind off of it & will come when it comes 🙌🏼

SmileyT · 08/05/2020 17:19

@KRK05 well it definitely could've been too early to test if you aren't 💯 when you ovulated, if it isn't your month definitely get peeing on those opks to pin down ovulation to avoid the TWW turning into a 3WW

@Blossom93 this is exciting fingers crossed the line gets darker 🤞

@Aaj04 we all get the frustration with TTC and our bodies not doing what we want them to, hope that AF or that BFP arrive soon x

@beautifuldream nothing at all over here apart from a lot of CM but think that's normal so 🤷🏾‍♀️

@Noble89 I really hope we get our BFPs together this month - we are like two peas in a pod and we need some peas in our pods 😛 plus we have all our newborn stuff all ready to be purchased. I've never felt so excited for somebody feeling sick, but I do honestly believe it's not crazy for our bodies to have some sense that there is something foreign in there and give you some early clues xx

@DKDK123 yeah that's what they told her, some men take hcg to help with fertility and it can actually make them nauseous aswell randomly. No idea if any of the studies are accurate but I love reading all of them 😂

Noble89 · 08/05/2020 19:09

@KRK05 I totally get that. Last time I was TTC I was like 'you just have sex and it happens right?' then I found MN and learned about OPKs and all sorts and I knew I wasn't pregnant so just couldn't wait to get my period so I could try again properly 😂.

@SmileyT AHH I'd love it if we both get our BFPs at the same time! Then we can move on to going crazy over what we're each going to buy and names and all sorts 😂. Oh I hope so, but realistically I'm probably just paying the price for eating the OHs cooking 😂. It's his mates birthday so he's having a zoom chat and getting drunk with all his friends downstairs so I'm using it as an excuse to stick some easy watching on in the background and browse YouTube for all things baby again. I need to refresh my list!

notyetamumbuttrying · 08/05/2020 19:20

For those who've already conceived in the past, I just got white creamy CM today, more than usual. I'm 6dpo. Is this just me getting my hopes up or just because of progesterone levels rising with nothing to do with pregnancy?

KRK05 · 08/05/2020 19:27

@SmileyT I actually just says to my OH I'm gonna start using my cheapy OPKs starting from tomorrow just incase I'm not gonna end up with AF (gets the practice in too 😂) I wont use my CB though would rather save that for after AF. Although I did read to hold urine for 4 hours with the cheapys I'm lucky if I can hold for 2 so that's gonna be a problem 🙈

@Noble89 Omg I know it's like a whole new world 😂 I'm just so intrigued to know when I ovulate tbh it's like Christmas had come when they arrived in the post 😜

Ltay2 · 08/05/2020 19:57

@KRK05 I can never hold urine for 4 hours 🙈 I use cheapy OPKs and sometimes have only held urine for 1 hour but still get positives ☺️

KRK05 · 08/05/2020 20:35

@Ltay2 Oh that's good to know, cause 2 hours hold is a struggle for me 🙈 what time do u do yours? Cause I seen it says not FMU, my CB one is though but I'm not gonna use that justnow just incase AF shows in a few days & I've wasted some sticks (there too expensive to keep buying)

SmileyT · 08/05/2020 20:38

@Noble89 I'm watching workin' moms on Netflix and it's been such easy watching today, a comedy about moms returning to work after mat leave 👌🏾 ahh I'm really getting to the point where I want it so much this month but honestly have not an inkling either way 😩 DP is working Sunday so I'll hit YouTube to distract me then and share my top tips x

@notyetamumbuttrying I'm also 6dpo had loads of creamy CM, last pg I didn't even know I was pg until OH told me to take a test at nearly 6weeks so no idea what was going on down there 🤪

@KRK05 definitely take the tests now and you'll find out what your baseline is for when you start next cycle. You also get a bit of a surge before AF so might give you a clue xx

Ltay2 · 08/05/2020 20:45

@KRK05 Before lockdown when I wasn't working from home I would take them in the evening when I got home, usually around 6pm. Now I tend to take them mid afternoon, and then once I notice a faint second line then take them more regularly, one around 12pm then 6pm and once it is a clear positive then you can go to more 12pm, 4pm, 8pm to try and catch your peak!
