I’m due AF on the 8th. 30th birthday on the 9th. If not pregnant I shall be celebrating my birthday with a Prosecco.

@carsmith I'm sorry I have no answer to your question as I have never used OPKs but hopefully u can get your answer from somebody else on this thread. Just keep at it I do see some other ladies going up & down before they get there peak 🤞🏻 dont be silly apologising to come write a post about yourself, it's what the threads for supporting each other through TTC I'm sure I've asked about 50 questions already haha, hope your doing well & finally get a peak OPK 😊

@SmileyT I'm so excited to see some BFPs on this thread, I wonder who will be the first 🤗 I'm that positive I'm not one of them I'm on the June bus 😂😂

@Crash1d Hope your doing good & get your BFP in time for your birthday 🙏🏼💕 I'm due AF tomorrow already have tested & BFN so il only be testing again if AF is really late as I'm convinced this is not my month!

@KRK05 haha I joined a May bus before my AF started last month aswell 🙈 I think it made me feel like I wasn't coming to an end if my period arrived but more like this whole thing is a journey - basically psychologically tricking myself into being okay 😂

@carsmith I don't think you officially get a drop in lh before ovulation probably more to do with wee concentration. Mine tends to vary throughout the month but when I got my peak it was obvious. I don't think you need to worry too much about the pattern outside of that unless you don't get a peak or you get multiple peaks xx

I've tested again this morning and still BFN with AF due tomorrow, also woken up with some light cramping feelings so I feel like I'm out for May. I'm going to get my CB ovulation kit ordered today to make me feel better 😂 @KRK05 prepare yourself for questions 😂

AF arrived in the early hours this morning as predicted. Just glad she's arrived on time and not late so I can get on with the next cycle asap. Going to treat myself to a fitbit as an 'AF present' (any excuse!) so I can track HR and sleep next cycle as well as all the other things 🙈

@Ltay2 sorry to hear AF has arrived 😔 love the idea of AF gifts though haha, might look into that one myself! Like you said, at least it's all on time and you can crack on trying again! Pretty sure I'll be with you tomorrow too. X

This is definitely AF. Ah well onto the June bus for me. Was wishful thinking first month. All stocked up with OPKs - cheap and clear blue and going to hit the SMEP train! Trying not to think drastic irrational thoughts about secondary infertility! Wanted to get this done before 38th birthday in February and it is still in sight. Just!!!

@SmileyT thank you, that makes a little more sense :) also re your previous post we all psychologically trick ourselves on this wonderful amazing frustrating sex riddled journey in one way or another haha x

6dpo today, first cycle trying after mmc in Feb, since August 2019 we have had 3 miscarriages, also have a 14 month old so trying for second baby.

No idea when I'll test, I'm fed up of waiting, time is dragging by! 🤦‍♀️

Hope you guys get your BFPs and for those who have already gotten AF, good luck for next month!!

@Ltay2 and @Excitablemuch sorry to hear AF has arrived for you both 🙁 I love the idea of an AF present, you can look on your fitbit as another way of helping you to conceive if you're walking more you're getting fitter and healthier which can only be a good thing! And I like your thinking of AF in terms of the start of a new cycle is a good way to take the edge off the disappointment. Still sucks tho so take the day to eat chocolate buy yourself an AF present and start the countdown to trying again.

@DKDK123 Yeah exactly! My Fitbit is going to be a way of tracking my heart rate mainly which helps with ovulation tracking so it's a bonus ☺️ I'm definitely going to keep up with AF presents a long the way although not quite as expensive next time maybe £20 limit 😂

5dpo due af 17th May. First time trying and on month 8. I ovulate early cd10 so think that's the cause of my lack of success so far. Have vitrex to start soon to see if that lengthens my follicular phase.

Well I'm due AF today girls, I know shes on her way & it's not unusual for me to start halfway through the day or later tonight, I just wish she would hurry up. I really hope not away be few days late cause AF pains have teased me for like a week now on & off 😭

@KateColx I think we’re due AF similar times. I haven’t got an early response test so I’ve not taken a test yet. I use the femometer ovulation kit and I have to say I love it. It’s got an app. For about £14 you get 50 OPK and 30 PT. You can also get the thermometer that’s links to the app too. I think that’s about £15-£20 but not 💯 sure as my husband got it for me. I have a super sensitive body so always know when I’m ovulating and the kit matches how my body feels. You can also take photos of the OPKs and it will tell you how high the test is. Which is pretty cool.

@KRK05 hey I think I’m on the next bus too, although it would be so lovely to have a BFP on Saturday. But if not it’s ok, I’ll take the time to enjoy a glass of bubbles and sushi!

@SmileyT I’m feeling a bit poorly to be honest. Some bubbling cramps but not full on. Tender breasts. Tired and general lethargy. But I do have an underlying medical condition which is flaring up right now. How are you doing? I agree that this whole process is a journey. I was a bit disappointed last month when I got my BFN and someone said don’t be sad it’s day 1 of your next cycle. You’re already back to it, that made me feel better. Thinking it was the start rather than the end. So @Ltay2 and @Excitablemuch not sure if that helps you at all? But its what I’ll be thinking if I get a BFN tomorrow x

I’m also on the May bus.... i’m 3DPO, cycle number #2 TTC straight after Cycle#1 which was a CP! I am turning 30 in June.
I’ve loved following this thread and listening to all your stories. It’s nice not to feel alone with all this, My DH just thinks im crazy with the amount of YouTubing and Forums I like to look at. But what can I say - I find comfort in all of this.
I was a little torn with the idea of TTC the cycle right after CP especially since my doctor suggested I give it “3 months” to let my body recalibrate. But I read sooo many positive stories about women falling pregnant instantly after CP i though if me and my partner and emotionally up for it then why wait?

@Crash1d I've been trying to think that way today too.

The TWW goes so slow and then suddenly a whole cycle has passed! Weird times!

Think if I was at work I would be better - too much time to think on my hands and not keep busy. I'm a teacher so in today but only in once a week at the mo.

@Excitablemuch sorry about AF! But maybe you'll be right on time for a special 38th birthday arrival! How long have you been TTC? They say up to a year is totally normal so don't be discouraged.

@EllieJai44 welcome! We're within a few days of each other. I'm 3DPO. Are you going to test early or wait till AF? Sorry about your loss. A lot of us have been there and it sucks. Fingers crossed this is your month for a sticky bean 😊

@beautifuldream were cycle buddies! I'm 3DPO today too 😊. When are you planning to test? Sorry about your CP and I totally get wanting to try again asap. I had a molar pregnancy and was forced to wait 6 months after my miscarriage as there's a cancer risk and the waiting was torture all.i wanted to do was try again. I'm also obsessed with forums and YouTube videos. Frankly there's a lot of waiting around while TTC and I find watching those things keeps me positive and excited about the future.

I'm 3DPO and just a bit off colour. It's cycle 1 after being discharged from my molar pregnancy and frankly it's not going that we'll! I got a UTI right around ovulation (powered through and DTD anyway 😂) and now I've got weird little crampy pains in my abdomen. A bit like the threat of a period pain but more uncomfortable than painful. It's far too early to be anything pregnancy related and the antibiotics cleared up my UTI so frankly I've no idea what is up with my body but it just seems off

@Noble89 This is the first month my cycle has felt normal so not very long at all. Last time happened so quickly I think I have unrealistic expectations!

@Excitablemuch oh definitely nothing to worry about then! Maybe it's fate and you're meant to get a baby birthday present next year! I totally get it though. I got pregnant the second month we made any real effort last time and first month of doing SMEP. This time I be tracked ovulation from the first cycle and we've done SMEP so I've definitely got unrealistic expectations that it should work immediately like last time.

@EllieJai44 fabulous! I've got an early testing buddy 😂. I was a nightmare last time I was TTC and spent a fortune on tests so I'm being stricter this time. I got my BFP with my molar at 11DPO but it was a clear positive so pretty sure it would have shown up at 10DPO so I'm using that as an excuse to test at 10DPO this time. I've got 5 tests left over from my last pregnancy so I've told myself I can start at 10DPO this month but if it's negative I have to wait 2 days before trying again. I've also decided if I don't get my BFP this month then next month I'll buy internet cheapies that won't break the bank to waste as last time I went through about 5 or 6 FRERs every cycle and those things are bloody expensive!

@Noble89 I can definitely be a testing buddy, I'm not good at being someone to stop you testing- ill always say test 😂 I keep saying ill test at 10dpo but I bet I cave before 🤦‍♀️
So sorry you've been through a molar! We had a 5 week loss last August, then a 7 week loss in late October and then a 10 week loss in Feb but I was 12 weeks when I started bleeding although we knew baby had stopped growing at 10 weeks due to a private scan we had paid for- honestly worse day of my life
But we have had a couple months break and ready to try again, good or bad!

@EllieJai44 right back at you! I'm telling myself I'm going to be strict this time but frankly it'll be a miracle if I am 😂. Especially as I have 3 FRERs and two clear blues left from my last pregnancy. I keep telling myself they're free tests because I paid for them so long ago so I can waste them 😂

Ahh I'm sorry to hear that. It's such an awful thing to go through. I knew in my gut something was wrong with my molar as I had an early private scan at 8 weeks and the woman said everything looked perfect but I had my dates wrong as I was only 6 weeks. I'd tracked my ovulation so I KNEW I wasn't 2 weeks out but literally no one would listen to me. The ultrasound tech was adamant everything was fine and I just had my dates wrong and the midwife just said the tech had measured wrong as it's easy to do early on but I knew from then there was a problem. Low and behold got to my 12 week scan and there was no more heartbeat and baby was only measuring 7 weeks. They still didn't suspect anything more than a normal MMC though and thankfully I opted for the D&C as it was only at that stage they realised the placenta was abnormal and sent it for testing. If I'd opted to wait for a natural miscarriage or to have the tablets I might never have known and the extra time could have led to cancer which is terrifying really. I'll definitely advocate for myself more next time. I'll be insisting on an early scan and I won't be fobbed off again if I've valid reasons to believe there's a problem.

I've had an enforced 6 month break as you have to have monitoring after a molar pregnancy to ensure your HCG level returns to normal as that's the only way to be sure it's not turned cancerous. Obviously a new pregnancy would impact HCG so you have to wait. It's mad really. I had my D&C in October and my HCG is only just normal this month. Had I taken a pregnancy test a month ago it would still have been positive even though I wasn't pregnant. The waiting sucked for me, I just wanted to try again but I also think it probably helped me feel less anxious as it's given me time to deal with what happened and move on.

Hope we both get lucky this time!

@Noble89 thats crazy it took so long!! I wanted a D and C and was booked in but they left me for 2 weeks so I started to pass naturally! We went to the hospital because I didnt want to do it at home and ended up catching the baby in the corridor toilet 🤦‍♀️ we were there 4 hours and hadn't been seen once in that time despite me crying in pain, I begged them to send the baby off for genetic testing to find out why and they only sent for histology, so the only results we have is it was negative for molar pregnancy, because we've had 3 miscarriages we have been referred for a clinic but thats been stopped atm because of the virus 🤦‍♀️

I have everything crossed for us and anyone who's hoping this month is the month for them!! Baby dust everywhere haha
