@Ltay2 aw that's nice that he's so excited for it too! My OH is really chilled about everything haha. Yeah sometimes it's just easier to keep it to ourselves to begin with ☺️ I've been reading threads on here and I'm not sure if mine is maybe an evap line as it is really faint, I'll keep hoping until the weekend x

@Noble89 That does seem like a mixed bag of emotions for you today! Although like you say, exciting to get going again ☺️

@KateColx Yeah I know he will be an amazing dad, and can't wait to see his face when I finally get the BFP and tell him!

Hi everyone, just joining this group, TTC baby #1 and this will be cycle #1 for us! I'm just coming off the pill so not really expecting this to be our month but can't help but get excited!! The websites I've read all say to finish the current pill packet, so I've got my last pill tomorrow.. then AF/ withdrawal due Sunday/Monday... then will be properly into it!

If I'm lucky and my cycle goes back to normal straightaway I'll ovulate around 24 May and AF due 3 June.. so might be on the wrong bus here but reading how supportive and lovely you all are makes me want to join in!

@Amy00 It is so exciting to get started! It will be really useful for you to stay here even if you don't 'get going' in May, I've learnt so much in just a few days of joining these threads ☺️

@KateColx how exciting show us a pic 👀 I think if the line is pink it's a positive and if it's grey it might be an evap. But I always say on these threads sometimes people can just tell as it's their bodies ❤️

@carsmith ahh I'm so sorry about having to cancel your wedding, it's crazy times but having more time at home for baby making isn't a bad thing. Get loads of practice in for the honeymoon. My cycles are also around 28days so we'll be in the TWW together, what are your opks looking like at the moment?

@Noble89 ahh sorry about the bloods and the reminder of the MC - sending you lots of virtual hugs. I'm jealous of your flashy smily, I jumped out of bed this morning only to see another ⭕️ really wanted ovulation to be the 3rd as it works with OH work schedule but hey ho I'm staying positive ☺️

@Amy00 welcome to the mad world of TTC I'm also ttc #1 and find this thread a really positive addition to my journey. Hope that your cycle returns quickly and you can get out of the practice zone and into full flow of baby making ❤️

@SmileyT I hope u get ovulation around the times your thinking 🤞🏻 great your tracking with both I will be doing that too next cycle (if I dont get lucky this one 😂)

@KateColx Omg I really hope this is the start of your BFP, so happy for u 💜 I've ordered some First Reaponse which come Friday but I'm gonna hold off to the Monday to take one, thatl be 4 days before my AF.
This is a picture of my last First Response 6 days before my AF, it wasnt even a squinter so makes me hopeful that if I test Monday if it is negative il just wait for my AF! Can maybe relax a bit more without it being in my head 🤦🏼‍♀️😂

Just catching up on the last few days: welcome to all the newbies and massive congratulations @Panda789 and @gb000! Hopefully lots more BFP’s to follow throughout May! Fingers crossed to everyone else, especially those with potential early test lines.

Only 4dpo here… AF due 8/9th May. Trying not to think too much about the 2WW (but being stuck at home there isn’t much else to do other than symptom spot, plan baby names and think of nursery ideas!)

@SmileyT thank you. If I get pregnant the monitoring stops so hopefully that'll be the last one! I was quite surprised to be honest! My Flo app is based on last month's cycle which was 33 days so isn't predicting ovulation until the 8th of may which makes my fertile window the 3rd to 9th. The fact it's flashing today makes me think this is probably going to be more in line with a 28 day cycle so perhaps ovulation around the 2-4th of May. My cycles are a bit all over at the moment so frankly who knows! Now I've got my flashing smiley I'll go to testing morning and evening for the next week I think as sometimes you can miss it only testing once per day. Hopefully you'll get yours tomorrow and be pretty much on track! How long are your cycles usually?

Welcome @Amy00, completely agree with @Ltay2, just being on these boards has been so so helpful for me. So hopefully they help you too, it's just nice to speak to people who are going through the same things 🥰

@SmileyT I've been trying to get a good photo all morning but it doesn't seem to show up 😩 I feel like a nutter trying to get a photo of a stick in a million different lightings and positions 😂 It was definitely light pink, but super faint. I feel like it's not as strong now, so maybe it was an evap. Or I've just been staring at it too much 😂🙈 if I get a good one I'll pop it on 🥰

Hi all, can I join too? I’m in a similar place to you @Amy00 - withdrawal bleed started today so first month ttc #1. I like to think there is still some chance even if cycles will might be a bit wonky for a while. Trying not to get too excited as don’t want all my enthusiasm to burn out in the first month, but I’m basically obsessed already.
I’ve learnt loads reading these threads so thanks everyone.

Told myself I wouldn't get carried away TTC and yet here I am changing the filter on a photo of a pregnancy test 😂🙈 I've uploaded one in B&W, it's the only way it seems to show on camera. Please tell me I'm not losing it 😂🤪 x

@KateColx there’s definitely A LINE, I’m too inexpert to know what it means if you can only see it in b&w, but looks hopeful!

@Spinningthewheel haha I promise I can see it in real life, it's really faint and I can't seem to get it to show on a normal photo ☺️ this will serve me right for testing too early 😂 x

I am so eager to test myself! So utterly pointless at the moment as my tests are only 4 day early ones and it's currently 8 days early 😂

I'm trying not to get my hopes up just yet. Just hope there's a line when I test again at the weekend, and a strong one 🤞🏻

Oh @Ltay2, I know how you feel! But if it helps to keep you away from them, testing early has probably just made me worse now 😂 if they're 4 day tests try and hold out so you get an accurate result 🥰 these are 6 days and I'm 7 out, so nearly there haha x

@KRK05 I got the 'ultra early' ones from Zoom Baby. The website said 4-6 days but the instructions that came with them say 4 days so would rather go with that.

@KateColx I am definitely not going to test before 4 days early. Just going to remind myself it would be a waste of a test and just disappointment that I don't need!

@Ltay2 yeah good way to look at it! Testing could be an expensive habit too couldn't it 🙈 x
