Hi all,

Now in my TWW. We have been trying for DC #2 since October 19 and I had a chemical early March.

I usually use Clearblue Dig Ovulation tests but this month I just used cheapie OPK's.

Fingers and toes crossed 🤞🏻

I've been feeling cramps all morning, right in the middle above my pubic area. I decided to test, behind DH's back and against my better judgement because the sun is out and tbh, if it was going to be AF coming on, I wanted to have a G&T without guilt.

That plan has been thwarted and I'm still in disbelief!

Based on my period tracker, I am 12DPO. Praying AF stays away. I will do another one in the morning just to be sure.

What does everyone think to my ovulation tests this month? This is why I’m unsure as to whether I even ovulated!! @LJMilkTea @Popcat120

@Nannon145 on the pregnancy tests I took it said 6 days before period it was 75% accurate but it was an early test one.

I’m not great at reading the OPKs but it looks like you did ovulate on 18 no?

@GinIsTheOnlyTonic do you think I just missed my positive ovulation test then?

@LJMilkTea I’m not great at them either. Very new to them so not sure. That’s what I’ve taken it as, that I ovulated on that day but who knows 🤷🏼‍♀️

After having very slight cramping this morning, I have 0 symptoms all day apart from getting the metallic taste in my mouth every now and then, but not as bad as yesterday.

Maybe AF is going to make an appearance after all 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️ I swear I drive myself insane with all this symptom spotting - wish I could stop 😫😫😫

Hi just wanting to ask what your experience is of getting a faint positive on first response and then a negative on other tests. I have taken two other early tests today with fmu and both blatant negatives. I’m starting to think opening the first response somehow caused the positive to appear and was invalid. I have no preg symptoms at all

@Jaylou7 If I were you, I’d test again in a couple of days with FMU. Everyone always says you can’t get a false positive so as long as you read it in the time stated it’s looking very promising so congratulations!!!

Yes @Nannon145 you might have just missed it. You would ovulate after your positive though so if peak is CD 18 then likely to have ovulated on CD19. The method that works for me with the OPKs is to test in the afternoon with my second wee of the day. So I get up have my first wee and then only have a small drink between then and say 12pm and then do my OPK after 12, around 2pm if I can manage to hold it! No point testing with FMU. And then maybe test again around 6pm if you think you might miss it. Do you track your BBT? As long as you are consistent with the method it works really well.

@GinIsTheOnlyTonic I haven’t tested my BBT previously but I am going to start next cycle, I have ordered the thermometer and everything but fingers crossed I don’t have to! 🤞🏻

I will also test at 12pm & 6pm next cycle too. I’ve had that advice from others too so thank you. ❤️

Really strange day today for me, hardly had any symptoms but then at like 6-7pm I had ridiculous cramps that actually made me keel over for like 10-15 minutes and then at about 7.15pm I had very watery cervical mucus which actually made me run to the bathroom because it was so wet in my knickers I thought I may have started AF (sorry TMI) but then again, nothing since apart from this weird taste in my mouth.

So so so strange. After the cramps though, I’m thinking AF may be on her way. She isn’t due until 29th though!

@Nannon145 mine this month was exactly the same. As long as you’ve DTD regularly around then you may have caught it 😀 I had a BFP this month. I’ve had cramping (still do!) and normal PMS symptoms, with added nausea and lightheadedness So there is hope 🙂

I’ve just tested and no luck this month. Gutted.

Caved and did my last frer.
Not gonna test now until af doesn't show and then I'll probably to a CB digi.
Top one yesterday, bottom one today.
Still can't believe it! 🙈

Hi @KSI88 did you do another test? Hope you are okay. My FR test looked exactly like yours but I don’t feel pg at all and have tested negative on cb x

@Jaylou7 Hi 👋 I've been testing every morning and thinking I see the faintest line... think my eyes are playing tricks on me. I don't think I'm pg this month either. AF due on Thursday so we'll see if it arrives. So cruel that the FRER are showing faint pink lines. Has really put me off them tbh 😢 I have some early test CB but I don't want to waste them as I think I would have had a positive before now.
