Hi all,

Now in my TWW. We have been trying for DC #2 since October 19 and I had a chemical early March.

I usually use Clearblue Dig Ovulation tests but this month I just used cheapie OPK's.

Fingers and toes crossed 🤞🏻

Would love you hear all of your TTC stories.

K x

Congratulations @LJMilkTea!!!!!!!!! @Popcat120 I’m only 8 or 9 DPO. Hard to tell because I didn’t get a proper positive ovulation test!! I really hope I get my positive 😫😫😫😫😫

mia22221 · 24/04/2020 22:54

Thank you so much @jaylou7 I appreciate that lots x aw sorry x good luck and fingers crossed for you to ❤️

Nannon145 · 24/04/2020 22:54

@MrsBlue1986 it’s hard to know. I’m 9DPO and still not sure about my symptoms. But, the cramping you have had could possibly be implantation since you’re 6DPO!

Jaylou7 · 24/04/2020 23:26

Ladies I feel I am going crazy. So my pregnancy tests arrived today. I am 6 DPO confirmed. I just stupidly decided to do a random test and this appeared. I took test apart to get a better look as could see something so faint. It appeared within time frame but got darker once I opened test. I have used a FRES test but heard a lot of bad things. I wish I had not opened it or done it. Guess will check again in few days. I’m literally shaking as have lost 4 babies in a year. I am not reading into this yet just wanted to share as def can’t tell DH. Any comments welcome. Has anyone opened their tests before and does opening it cause false positives. 😳

Congrats @LJMilkTea!!! What a strong positive!

@Jaylou7 yes I can see a faint line. Test again with FMU. So sorry to hear of your losses. EVERYTHING crossed for you x

Jaylou7 · 24/04/2020 23:54

Thank you will do not getting my hopes up xx

HappyBuyer · 25/04/2020 00:01

Thank you for your kind words. I did not answer straight away cause my husband walked into bedroom and I do not want him to know how I actually feel (he loves me so, if he would know how upset I'm, it might affect his ''performing''? - I know it might sound silly).
I have read this thread and ladies get quite technical... I tried ovulation tests - sticks and Clearblue tests, but seem to miss ovulation (only once I had the smiley face on Clearblue) as the test do not indicate I have it? I check it by my body changes and this funny period app, then I think I ovulate.
Would you say I have to get checked (when lockdown is eased)?
Everybody just tells me to ''relax'' and ''it will happen in it's own time'', but I feel I might be ''faulty'' (on the background of my friends bragging how they did it from first time)

HappyBuyer · 25/04/2020 00:03

@Jaylou7 I can see a faint line :)

Nannon145 · 25/04/2020 00:37

@Jaylou7 fingers crossed for you. I can see a line. Hopefully you see a clearer one in the next couple of days🤞🏻

I don’t know when to start testing. When does everyone think???

GinIsTheOnlyTonic · 25/04/2020 05:53

Hello @HappyBuyer - how long have you been trying for and how old are you?

@Nannon145 depends on how sensitive your tests are. I would say in general no earlier than 8DPO for the FRER. What CD are you on now?

LJMilkTea · 25/04/2020 06:24

@ginistheonlytonic thank you!

@Nannon145 I would say 10 maybe if you can wait or even a bit longer. I know it’s so hard. I did one at around 8 or 9 and it was negative.

@Jaylou7 I think I can see a line! I have everything crossed

Jaylou7 · 25/04/2020 07:19

Going to test again in a couple of days. The fact I opened test and only 6 dpo makes me doubt. X

Popcat120 · 25/04/2020 07:39

Update.... Still pretty faint but a tiny bit darker than yesterday!!

Jaylou7 · 25/04/2020 08:50

I would be getting excited by that congrats!!! 😘

ChattyMum86 · 25/04/2020 09:03

Congrats @Jaylou7 and @Popcat120 that's great news! Both lines look very positive BFPs 🥰

I've had the strangest couple of days spotting. It isn't like my normal period and is a week earlier than my period would usually come 🤔 however, some of it is bright red which doesn't fit the description of an implantation bleed. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Maybe I'm just holding onto a small glimmer of hope x

Jaylou7 · 25/04/2020 09:20

Thank you @ChattyMum86 I am not convinced about my result. Did a cb early today and a bfp so not sure what’s going on.
Any spotting is annoying and makes us worry doesn’t it when we are ttc bit could be nothing. Fingers crossed for you xx

OhSoCherished · 25/04/2020 09:59

@HappyBuyer have you tried doing your LH tests twice a day, e.g, one in the morning and one in the evening? The LH surge can happen in a matter of hours for some women whose LH surge is rapid onset instead of gradual onset. So if this is the case for you, you may be missing it you only test once a day.

https://www.fertilityuk.org/new-page advise that if you are over 35 and have been trying unsuccessfully for 6 months, you should talk to your doctor about it. It would definitely help ease some anxieties to know what's really going on.

All the best! 😊

OhSoCherished · 25/04/2020 10:03

@Jaylou7 I see the faint line! Hoping it intensifies in a few days time.

I'm so sorry about your previous losses. Fingers crossed this is your cycle and it all progresses well for you!

Jaylou7 · 25/04/2020 10:25

I meant clear blue early bfn

Jaylou7 · 25/04/2020 10:26

Thank you so much @OhSoCherished I should have not tested so early I tell myself I must not each time but i just can’t help myself. I really don’t feel pregnant and that tiny bit of hopes drives me insane as I can’t focus on anything else. Wish I could just forget it until my period is late xx

HappyBuyer · 25/04/2020 10:38

@GinIsTheOnlyTonic @OhSoCherished

I'm 35.

Originally started 1.5 ago. For about a year it was just doing the deed and ''letting it happen natural way'' - no apps, no ovulation tests, no calculations (I was sure I will fall pregnant quick Hmm ). About last 6 months I have used ovulation sticks, albeit once a day. I also tried ClearBlue - two/three times a day before ovulation time (calculated by app). Always had empty circle and only once Smiley face.
Before lockdown I have done private blood tests to see if I'm healthy and my hormones are within normal range. The results were very good overall, except for the lack of vitamin D.
However, according to general BMI I'm underweight, but combined with the level of body fat 22%, it seems that I'm just fit (trying to put on some more weight now just in case) The blood pressure and heart rate are excellent. So it seems that I'm healthy.
I will try to track ovulation more vigorously with both ClearBlue and some other brand's sticks (maybe 3-4 times a day) and if this doesn't work, would have to visit my doctor when possible.
I can't wait to do pregnancy test on Monday (7 days after ovulation - according to app).
Thank you for reading this. I apologise for the long post.

Nannon145 · 25/04/2020 10:45

@GinIsTheOnlyTonic @LJMilkTea I’m on cycle day 9 or 10 today. I think I might wait until Monday to test. How do you know how sensitive the tests are? I’ve got a couple of cheapies from Home Bargains & one from Sainsbury’s but I don’t know how sensitive they are.

Woke up this morning with this cramping/gassy feeling which feels a lot like AF is on her way 🙁 I really hope she isn’t. She isn’t due until 29th April.

Popcat120 · 25/04/2020 10:58

@nannon145, sounds positive to me..
I've been having such bad cramps on and off last night and today. I'm really keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Nannon145 · 25/04/2020 11:05

I really hope so. I’m really trying to not get my hopes up though because I didn’t get a positive ovulation test this month so I’m my head I’m not even sure if I ovulated!!! So happy for you though 🥰
