I've created us all another thread as we filled the last one!

@mommybear05 I had no idea how long I'd feed for. I never thought I'm definitely going to bf, once he was born though, all I wanted was to get bf right. Every time he woke in the hospital i buzzed for the midwives to check we had got the latch right.

He's already asked more today than he did yesterday and has been difficult to distract!

@Bellabubble thank you very much for sharing with me your story I found that very helpful. I didn’t think of that before- a shorter period meaning a thinner lining and not enough for implantation.
I really hope I either get my bfp or my period again next month. Hubby is off work for the rest of the month now so we have lots of time to dtd. I’m not going to opk this time.

HE88 · 14/04/2020 20:51

@Mommybear05 defo agree about lockdown less contact with them the better right now while I sort myself out. Our family did know and none of them have bothered to ask if I'm ok but your right no point in worrying about that.
Like you say tomorrow is a new day, just need to concentrate on myself and hopefully having my little rainbow. X

SmileyT · 14/04/2020 21:32

@Mommybear05 I keep meaning to read 'the subtle art of not giving a f' I've heard such great things and tbh I've now got no excuse not to do more reading. I think what you said to @HE88* is so right. It's so hard in normal life for us to avoid negative influence or things that make us unhappy but with reduced work contact and reduced social obligations it's really showing me who who are my friends out of convenience and who are really there for me. I really appreciate having this board as feel like you ladies are just so supportive and lovely xx

Mommybear05 · 14/04/2020 21:54

@SmileyT aw I feel that way too. If I can only keep in touch with friends virtually right now I’d 100% rather talk to you guys- you guys ‘get’ it. Like you say sometimes it’s just convenient. Current events are certainly giving me perspective. Yes you really should take time to read if reading is what you are into. I absolutely love it but I know not everyone does. Can’t get hubby to read anything! Audible have some good offers on top of you want a listen while doing chores or a home project. And also in relation to our thread on ttc, I find reading helps to take my mind elsewhere when I’m having a hard time with things xx

@HE88 yes you do that. Feel free to vent as even that will help. Sometimes (people may have noticed) I find just typing a long message and putting my feelings out there is therapeutic x

Hi ladies! I had my 3 week post miscarriage checkup today and all looks fine. I still had to do blood tests as my Hcg isn't below 10 yet.
Later on, when I checked my cm and cervix, I noticed little bits of white discharge. This has happened to me a few months ago, and I assumed it was a yeast infection. However, today at my checkup, my Obgyn didn't mention anything and said that everything looks normal. I'm confused! Has anyone had this type of discharge after ovulation/before AF? I've had ewcm up until Saturday/Sunday, but haven't been sleeping well so could not confirm ovulation with Bbt tracking.

SmileyT · 15/04/2020 07:15

@Rainbowhope11 I'm glad you've had a checkup and they have confirmed that everything looks good, did you have to ask for this or was it just offered? I didn't really think about it at the time but I was offered no follow up at all and I'm not sure whether I should be contacting the hospital to request this.

In regards to the discharge, I've only started checking cervical position and CM this month when I started TTC but my CM has been more white and almost lotiony after ovulation. I don't think it is anything to worry about, but if it's very unusual for you I'd give whoever you did the check up with (gp or hospital) a call just to confirm everything is okay xx

Rainbowhope11 · 15/04/2020 07:27

@SmileyT After my mmc (had to induce miscarriage with meds), I had a follow up ultrasound to make sure I had passed all the tissue. After that my doctor requested weekly blood tests to make sure Hcg was declining appropriately and asked me to come back in 3 weeks for a checkup. I'm not sure if all the checkups and monitoring were due to the medical management or whether that's just the protocol at the practice that I went to? Either way, I must admit that it's given me some peace of mind knowing that things look okay. Definitely ask for one if you feel like you need some reassurance 😊

You're right about the discharge, probably nothing to worry about. I'll see what happens over the next couple days. So far there's no burning or itching so I'm fine to wait it out😊

Mommybear05 · 15/04/2020 07:44

@Rainbowhope11 hey. Glad things are looking ok for you. I think that white discharge is typical for the luteal phase in a cycle. It can be either creamy or sticky

Rainbowhope11 · 15/04/2020 07:45

@Mommybear05 Thank you😊 how are you doing?

Mommybear05 · 15/04/2020 08:08

@Rainbowhope11 I’m good thanks. Cd2 today. Feeling positive to have my cycle back Smile so good that you have been monitored so carefully. How are you feeling in yourself now? X

Rainbowhope11 · 15/04/2020 08:13

@Mommybear05 that's great to hear that you're feeling positive! I think I'd also be happy with seeing AF at this point just to know that things are back on track. Glad that you're doing well😊

Rainbowhope11 · 15/04/2020 08:16

@Mommybear05 I'm feeling okay. I think when all this happened and I was told that I need to come in for so many checkups and wait for AF, I felt overwhelmed. It seemed like such a long wait, but the time has gone by faster than I thought. Been keeping myself busy with work and reading, and just enjoying my garden 😊

Mommybear05 · 15/04/2020 08:46

@Rainbowhope11 that’s great that you feel this way. So here’s hoping you see some more positive signs of things returning to normal. Remind me of your job? Yes it’s great to keep busy reading and in the garden. We’re trying to restore our kitchen so been knocking off tiles, undercoating all the walls and sanding and priming all the cupboards so really busy! I feel like I could handle two weeks, fertile time, two week wait and testing/ af. It feels so good to feel like something is happening. Remind me how you are tracking your cycle?

francis05 · 15/04/2020 08:46

So decided not to test again this morning, going to wait until my frer get delivered.
But last night I had so many symptoms which seemed to come on unannounced, came back from walking the dog, straight into the bath and my nipples were so sore, then came the sore boobs (weren't even touching them and they felt grazed), fell asleep on the sofa then went to bed and could not drop off until after midnight (very unlike me), then stupidly hungry and needed to make toast at midnight!! Along with cramps & gas/bloating.

Back to feeling normal this morn...I'm taking it as a good sign right? X

Hayleylou89 · 15/04/2020 09:18

@francis05 how many dpo are u now? I remember the hunger grumbles so bad in my first pregnancy in the middle of the night.. its def a good sign and all the other signs too. Im 5dpo and not feeling many symptoms really except i had random pinky cm yest morning which i had last time at the same time but other than that i dont feel too hopeful this cycle xx

Hayleylou89 · 15/04/2020 09:20

How r u all done today?? @Renna @VP91x @SmileyT @Mommybear05 @dinosaur17 xx

VP91x · 15/04/2020 09:25

@Hayleylou89 I'm doing okay, no more spotting since day before yesterday when checking CP. Just waiting to see if AF arrives over the weekend otherwise will think about doing a test. How are you xx

Renna · 15/04/2020 09:25

@HE88 I hope youre feeling a bit better this morning, new day and all that xx

@Rainbowhope11 That is really good that you have had some decent follow up check ups. I had nothing other than being told to do a pregnancy test after 3 weeks... if its positive to contact them... Which it wasn't but I still tried to call EPU to let them know test looks negative and wanted to ask them about this lump if tissue I passed like 3 weeks after surgery … but couldn't get through so that's that ! At least you have reassurance moving forward which is great and will help mentally rather than questioning everything yourself xxxx ...and I have had that kind of discharge before and it wasn't thrush, Ive never had thrush.. but I cant remember at what point in the cycle but ive deffo had it and I felt it was normal xx

To be honest I have been checking CP and CM for over a month now since MMC/Surgery and I really find no pattern in mine. And when people refer to EWCM I cannot recall getting this really..Im not sure.. haha but my CP seems to go up and down even throughout the day it seems higher in afternoon or sometimes and I don't see massive changes in my CM so Im not sure If im doing something wrong or uselss at checking or mine really doesn't change much. My CP always feels pretty high... maybe because im 6ft tall so everything in my body is long … haha Does any one else struggle with this?
Also when looking into reviews for conceive plus lubricant I use (the first time we used it we got pregnant) it says it helps balance CM so sperm live longer … I am thinking maybe my lack of being able to see a difference in CM shows my CM could be like lethal for sperm haha and kills them off as we were trying for 3 - 4 months before I used conceive plus then first time used it it worked. …

@francis05 they do sound like good signs :) fingers crossed and hope your tests get delivered soon xx

@Hayleylou89 how are you today ?:) buzzing off your little early positive sign of IB I hope :) deffo a good sign for you as it happened before xx only few more days and you can start testing! xx

I guess I am feeling a bit better mentally today … we will see how the day goes !! But I am feeling rough :( Have like cystitis symptoms, eg. feeling urgency to urinate and stingy etc.. and bit of a sore throat and generally feel groggy. so dosed up on cranberry, cystitis sachet and water...

dinosaur17 · 15/04/2020 09:38

Morning all!

Ooh @francis05 sounds promising! When are your tests being delivered?

Woke up to more what I thought were AF cramps but it’s been 3 days and I’ve usually come on by now! Had a streak of blood again in CM and have used my last cheapie up and the dye has run and looks all weird!

Mommybear05 · 15/04/2020 09:42

@francis05 sounds like great signals. Wishing you luck when you test again and hope af stays away for you x

Mommybear05 · 15/04/2020 09:42

@dinosaur17 so hard keeping patient isn’t it? How are you keeping busy? X

Mommybear05 · 15/04/2020 09:45

@Hayleylou89 morning I’m good thanks. It’s def af it for heavier last night so looking forward to what this month will bring. Here’s to maybe a new year baby haha.
That picture of your pink looked so similar to last time! I know you didn’t dtd as much as you would have liked around ovulation but sperm can survive for days. I would say you definitely have a fair chance! I really hope af stays away for you! X

francis05 · 15/04/2020 09:45

@dinosaur17 tests being delivered anytime between tomorrow & Sat so will probably test with them either Friday or Sat using fmu.

@Hayleylou89 no idea what dpo I am as not sure when I ovulated... Maybe between 10-14 days, who knows?!
Can't concentrate on any work today, day dreaming of my Dec baby!! X

dinosaur17 · 15/04/2020 10:01

@francis05 how many dpo are you now? Fingers crossed for you!

@Mommybear05 honestly driving myself a bit mad! Mostly just cleaning and watching rubbish on the TV! How about you? X

francis05 · 15/04/2020 10:22

@dinosaur17 honestly I have no idea what dpo I am, maybe around 10-14 dpo x
