I've created us all another thread as we filled the last one!

@mommybear05 I had no idea how long I'd feed for. I never thought I'm definitely going to bf, once he was born though, all I wanted was to get bf right. Every time he woke in the hospital i buzzed for the midwives to check we had got the latch right.

He's already asked more today than he did yesterday and has been difficult to distract!

@Renna @Bellabubble @Niisa

Sorry AF has arrived for u all!! Mine seems so heavy this month 🙄... CD2 as i didnt count the bight AF arrived as CD 1 ... should i have? X

Iv ordered an AVA bracelet on ebay and realised after getting it that it doesnt usually work for ppl with longer than 35 day cycles 🤦🏽‍♀️...but im going to try it and see if its any good and if anythin it should still pin point ovulation by looking at the charts and it meant to be good for when you actually get pregnant too, ill still be doing my opks but just not until about cd18 🙄.... really really hate my long cycles x x

Ejb86 · 25/04/2020 09:56

Oh no ladies! I'd really hoped we'd see some more BFPs before the end of the month.

Anyone else still here with me?

@Ejb86 how are you feeling? are you testing on Thursday?

Renna · 25/04/2020 10:23

@Hayleylou89 I noticed I had bloodshot CM yday so didnt count as CD1 but this morning AF in full flow ... so I'd count the day you got your full flow as CD1 even if it was in the evening. Xx
My cramps are pretty sore and its heavier than my last AF which was first one after MC which was really light barely lasted more than a day. But I kinda feel glad it's back to like it was before being heavier as we were talking about thin linings after MC before werent we so makes me feel like it's a signal my lining thickening up properly again x

I like the look of the ava bracelet as looks like its easier than doing temp every morning. But I'm debating with myself how much to do this next cycle ... I feel like it consumed me too much this month.. I guess it's hard not to when first proper cycle after MC .and it all hit me hard yday . DH was saying maybe I should do less tracking or coming on the threads . I find it helps talking to you ladies though.. I feel like you're my friends now lol ! Cant imagine not chatting to you but I get what he means . Chatting on here daily like I have been just makes me think about TTC more and about our loss .. so I think next cycle I'll just try going in the thread less .
It's just so hard at the mo to be able to be occupied with anything else whilst In lockdown ... but focusing on diet and exercise it is !!
Xxxx
Good luck @Ejb86🤞🤞 I'll deffo be checking thread to see how u got on xxxx

Donnat89 · 25/04/2020 11:11

@Renna I was thinking the same about being in here less but the support is so good , it's difficult not to think about TTC especially being in lock down . It's difficult isn't it .

I am using OPKS for the first time this cycle I'm hoping it will make the TWW less stress full by knowing exactly when i ovulated though . We shall see

I'm on CD 3 now and AF is pretty much done so I've had a really light AF this time round , I don't get really heavy ones anyway but this is defo really light so not sure if I should be worried ?

Good luck to everyone this cycle ! X

Ejb86 · 25/04/2020 11:33

@SmileyT @Renna thanks ladies.

If AF has stayed away until Thursday I may do a cheapie. I'd only be 9dpo though so wouldn't expect to see too much! Then I've got 2 clearblue and 2 frer stashed so may do a frer next weekend. What do you think?

MrsLBear · 25/04/2020 11:33

@ejb86 I'm still here! We are due on the same day aren't we? Are you 4dpo? Or am I completely imagining that!?

Sorry that af came girls. Wishing it by quickly for you so you can hopefully have your BFP cycle!! 😘

Ejb86 · 25/04/2020 11:37

Yes @MrsLBear I'm 4dpo today. Next week seems such a long way away though!

Bellabubble · 25/04/2020 11:47

@MrsLBear @ejb86 I have my fingers crossed for you ladies!! i hope the ttw goes by nice and quick for you!!

@Renna I feel like we are on the same post mc journey!! I am back to my most normal cycle length (I’m usually 27, but every so often I’m 29days!) and AF has definitely come back in her full swing so to speak! Last AF was 2 days and not as heavy as normal - this one is definitely back to how I usually am!! No I’m just confused about OPKS - all the info leaflets say you are most fertile the day of your peak and the day after - but I got my peak, then the next day my temp shot up and my LH was back down super low!! So it looks like I probably get my surge the day I ovulate!?

Ejb86 · 25/04/2020 11:56

Is it bad that I've dug out hubby's old Fitbit so I can keep an eye on my heart rate? I've seen quite a few people who have seen an increase in resting heart rate before POAS. My fitbit doesn't do HR so that's why I've dug his out.

OP posts:
SmileyT · 25/04/2020 12:06

@Ejb86 definitely not mad, only problem is you might not know your normal resting HR is. I've had my Fitbit for 3 years and my HR was my first indicator of pregnancy, it started rising about 7 days before AF was due and got to the highest it's ever been... I googled it and was like 'oh I might be pregnant' Good luck xx

MrsLBear · 25/04/2020 12:35

@ejb86 I know what you mean. Just want it to hurry up. Why does it actually take so long it seems crazy like what is it doing in the mean time. Just sitting back chilling 😂😂
Nope not bad at all. I've considered buying one for that very reason!! That's so interesting @SmileyT makes me want to get one more but then it'll be another thing I will obsess over. I've started knitting to distract my mind and it actually works cos I have to concentrate so much.
I think I'm losing the plot.
Thank you @Bellabubble 😘

Hayleylou89 · 25/04/2020 13:03

@Renna i know exactly what u mean about being on the threads all the time but i wont spk to my mates about this stuff as they probably will think just let it happen when it happens but when uv had a loss u want it even more than ever! I used to use tampons but iv swopped to towels since Bonnie so think it probably seems like im losing more than before but it does feel alot heavier now and my back is aching badly xx but knowing itll only last a few days, is fine.

Im looking forward to getting the ava as i think knowing im doing everything i can will make me feel better and it should be more accurate temp reading i suppose and i hope itll all match up to the cb connected / cheapies then ill stop buying the cb ones once i know where im at. Just hoping it works with my cycles being a bit longer than the "normal" that ava have written in their guidance x

TerribleImagination · 25/04/2020 15:59

@Ejb86 I discovered the RHR thing too! It’s both interesting and infuriating 😂

I got a Garmin watch in Feb, so only been checking it since then. I’ve noticed that my RHR spikes 3 days after I get a positive OPK, but don’t know if that’s because I’m ovulating that day or the day before?! Then it drops again a bit and creeps up slowly for the rest of the luteal phase. The first month it dropped of a cliff the day before AF was due and I started spotting later that day. This last month it got higher and stayed high, I got hopeful (and I felt like I was pregnant from symptoms) but then I got AF early again and it stopped maybe 2 days later?!

So the short answer is... I’m none the wiser after two very different patterns each month 🤷🏻‍♀️

mohacha · 26/04/2020 13:47

Hi everyone, I hope you don't mind me joining.
I am 6 months TTC and suddenly in the past 3 months my period became very irregular. My period has been normal always before that (26yo).
My last two cycles were 45 days and also the ovulation tests are showing positive for the better part of the month, which makes me think I might have a hormone issues.
My blood and fertility tests were good back in August when we started trying to conceive.
Anyone else related to similar situation?

Best of luck girls 🐥

Wishingfornumber2 · 26/04/2020 16:13

AF has arrived today Sad so moving over to May thread. Good luck to those still in the TWW. X

@mohacha sorry I don’t have any answers for you but hope you get some. X

Rainbowhope11 · 26/04/2020 22:03

@Ejb86 I'm still here! Although I have no ideA what's going on with me or when to even expect AF 😫 I thought I was ovulating 2 weeks ago, but now that I've checked my temps, I think I only ovulated last week. DH and I dtd but I may have missed the boat unfortunately. Still have a bit of Hcg in my system according to blood tests, but no longer getting positives on hpt. No sign of AF and I think I'm about 7 or 8 dpo, but who knows!

Ejb86 · 27/04/2020 20:38

So the wicked witch got me. Today I was 6dpo. The good news is my cycle was longer than last month, bad news I still have that short LP.

Good luck to those of you still to test. In a way I m glad, because it means that while I am ill, I'm not worrying about taking medication or anything.

SmileyT · 27/04/2020 20:48

Ahh sorry that AF got you @Ejb86 look after yourself and enjoy being able to medicate up to your eyeballs. When you are feeling better jump onto the May thread, where we are all doing it all over again 😊

MrsLBear · 27/04/2020 21:38

So sorry af got you @Ejb86

RiverRoo · 28/04/2020 06:00

First time poster!
We are TTC in our first cycle since a MMC in February. I’m currently 12 DPO with a negative First Response pregnancy test thismorning. We DTD every 2nd day from CD10 - CD18. I think I ovulated on the 14th but only used the CM method to confirm. We have a 2 year old son and would love to give him a sibling! Hoping for a positive on Thursday which is when my period is due. Fingers crossed!!

VP91x · 28/04/2020 06:37

Morning @RiverRoo fingers crossed for you that you get a BFP on Thursday!!

Sorry that you also suffered a loss. Sending you lots of luck xz

RiverRoo · 28/04/2020 07:27

Thank you @VP91x

Are there many ladies in this thread waiting for a BFP this week??

TerribleImagination · 28/04/2020 09:40

@RiverRoo I’m due AF on Sunday, so I’m on the May thread but it’s still this week! I won’t be testing until at least Sunday, but hopefully Monday if AF doesn’t show!

RiverRoo · 28/04/2020 10:46

@TerribleImagination Good luck!!
