Bring on the October BFP's

At the risk of jinxing myself by starting this thread I'm hoping it's actually quite therapeutic to let go of September. The next few weeks are all about bd'ing and for those in the same boat, we can start looking forward to an October full of BFPs.

After a 41 day cycle I'm back to CD1, anyone else care to join me?

Digitalgirl CD1 2nd cycle ttc #1

Hi All, bit of a late joiner to this but wanted to give my support and good luck to everyone this month. TTC no3 only BD'd once during ov this month due to dh not being because of work, so not holding out much hope. Never genuinely heard ofanyone getting preggers after onlyonce, but then it doesonly take just once!

Should say I'm on CD17 of cycle no 1. Really excited to ttc again!!

TwilightSurfer · 14/09/2007 18:37

CD13...if only that dreaded 2WW could fly by as fast.

loveverona · 14/09/2007 20:02

Which cycle of ttc are you in Twilight? Sorry if you already said on this thread-not had much time to read thru everything today...

lockets24 · 14/09/2007 20:50

evening all..weekend at last,af still here much to DH's horror as have not seen each other for two days so were planning on fun BD'ing (in between assembling new living room furniture!)

on the plus side MIL cancelled dinner tomorrow !!!!

Tigger13 · 14/09/2007 21:11

HI Abroller [grin}

Have a look at access diagnostic website V V cheap, tests are like gp uses but seem to work and u get free pg tests which u will all need soon! No I don't work for them just they so cheap and work out about 20p each so I tend to use them every day from AF til get +result.

off to do me bits and get ready for a wedding tomorrow, just me and hubby going

loveverona · 14/09/2007 21:17

Tigger,I used those to find out about pregnancy with ds - cheap indeed and they work - ds is now 16 months! And if you're anything like me, one test is nowhere near enough until you believe it! Hope you have a productive weekend....

Tigger13 · 14/09/2007 21:27

V V true.............and they come in brown plain packaging so noisy MIL don't know what it is even though they are desperate to ask

thank you, you 2!

sweetkitty · 15/09/2007 08:46

morning all I got the CBD ov tests just to see if I am oving after the mc, didn't use them last two pregnancies as I got pregnant first month, last time used EWCM and timed BDing. Used them with the first one unsuccessfully but remember being so excited the first time I ovulated

Abroller - ouch sorry about your back hope it's on the mend soon

Lockets - good news about the MIL we hardly ever see ours as she doesn't do "public transport" so has to rely on SIL to drive her up (an hour away) SIL sneaks up without telling MIL though.

loveverona - welcome to the thread and don't give up hope, I've said before I have 2 DDs that are the result of only one BD the entire month, one on CD11 and one on CD18 as DP was working away think he likes to leave me a little present when he goes away bet this month we have loads of BDing and don't get a BFP maybe the once a month works for us

Happy Saturday to everyone else x

debinaustria · 15/09/2007 11:48

Good morning everyone, well it's afternoon here. Here's the updated list with Loveverona added.

Hope everyone's OK

Abroller - how's your back this morning? Better I hope.

Don't know what's happening with me?. Had cycles of about 21/22 days, last month was 28 days so started ttc this month assuming it would be another 28 ish cycle. I was trying to time bd in favour of a girl, but just got some op test sticks in the post and I think ov has been and gone.So that's buggered everything up Now it appears I'm on the dreaded 2WW. Just waiting to see what happens now.

Hope there's lots of bding going on this weekend and all that leg waxing etc was worth it.

Abs - to hear of your bad back. No more lifting (stern voice)! Hope you feel better soon. If you need an MRI make sure it is at the right time in your cycle as I don't think you should have one if you're pregnant (though I could be wrong).

Hi cycle buddy #2 Lockets

Hi everyone else. CD7 here. A bit of spotting still which is annoying. Off to look at an ovulation calculator now. Have a good weekend everyone.

penguinmum · 15/09/2007 13:42

I think these TTC threads have more , and emoticons than all the others!

Hello muppet! . Hello everyone! [sprinkling magic baby dust now ......)

This BD-ing is getting a bit silly now. Just had to corner DP quickly before a Freecycler came round to collect something.

Meglet · 15/09/2007 14:07

Crikey, I just missed the Freecycler who popped round as we were BD-ing. The shame . I didn't hear the doorbell .

AbRoller · 15/09/2007 14:13

Hi

I'm not too bad today, walking very funny but on strong pain relief. Thanks for all the lovely messages.

Hi LadyL, I never thought of that but will be sure to mention it to the doctor if the appointment is not for a couple of weeks.

Girls the thought of bikini waxing makes me cringe. I can't even bear to wax my legs but I've decided to make an appointment, can you tell me some (loads and loads!) of advantages to waxing to boost my courage.

Hi Tigger, thanks for the advice re ov sticks but unfortunately I have no idea how I can pay for things over the internet as I have no credit card or chequebook. I don't understand paypal but I assume it requires a credit card?
CD7 today, should I wait until CD10 to use ov sticks or start sooner?

AbRoller · 15/09/2007 14:16

lol Meglet

pigleychez · 15/09/2007 17:23

Hope everyones having a good weekend.

Last night DH and I went up to London to see 'We Will rock you' at the theatre which was great!!
We stayed overnight in London and did a bit of bding practice .
Then spent this morning spending on Oxford street... Dragged DH into the huge M&P's store in Regents street and cooed over all the ickle babygrows and buggies.HeHe!

Only CD 5!!!! Seems like forever!

sweetkitty · 15/09/2007 17:54

pigley - [envy) at your trip I remember having tear filled trips to MC when I was ttc#1, still have a baby clothes addiction was in Next today and was still looking at baby clothes

Abroller - glad you are feeling a bit better. I use a Visa Electron card for my paypal account, it's not a cheque card and paypal takes the money straight from my bank account. Have given DP my credit cards to resist temptation.

meglet - psml at your BDing and missing the freecycler.

hope everyone else is having a good weekend getting loads of BDing in or not thinking too much about the 2ww.

debinaustria · 15/09/2007 19:29

digital girl - got crampy pains today - does that mean anything?

pigleychez - lol, I was shopping today and managed to wander through the baby department!

Deb

pigleychez · 15/09/2007 19:46

I would have loved to buy out half the shop but have agreed with DH that I wont buy anything till I am actually pregnant! Cant wait to start buying!!

Im very impatient...Dh jokes that in the 9 months im pregnant I will have bought enough to clothe the child out till they are 18!

And why is that when your out shopping you seem to see so many pregnant women!! In London today I must have seen hundreds! Whens it my turn???

loveverona · 15/09/2007 19:46

Hi Sweetkitty, (and everyone else). Well, must say that's good to know. This is my number 3 too, so who knows. I have been getting a lot of abdominal twinges/pain, bit like time of the month feelings, but still a few days to go and my cycles are very regular...... Hmmm, we wait......

But hey, what a beautiful day! Finally got some summer eh?!

Excitable · 15/09/2007 19:57

Have been lurking for about 6 weeks - can I join you? Please - I'd like to be your friend! I am CD3 of Cycle 2, and still feeling a little disappointed at my lack of BFP. Someone else said that they knew it was silly to expect a BFP so soon, and I'm with you on that - hormones are not allowing me to think logically though! Did a test today anyway, just to be sure as I have heard tales of women being PG and having periods, although they were mostly quite thin - does that make a difference? Have immensely enjoyed reading this thread today and am feeling much more hopeful. It is encouraging me to feel less sad about what has been and happier about what is to come.

Since coming off the pill, I've been feeling REALLY sexy - DH doesn't know what's hit him and isn't stopping to find out! World is full of sexy men and newborns and wonderful place! I don't think I'll ever take the pill again - has anyone else had a similar experience coming off the pill?

pigleychez · 15/09/2007 20:01

excitable Hi and welcome.

Im in exactly the same position as you CD5 on cycle 2 ttc baby #1.

Its very exciting isnt it!!

Excitable · 15/09/2007 20:06

Yes, it IS exciting! I've wanted to try to conceive #1 for about 6 years now, but DH has finally caught up with me now that his best friend has just had a DD! We've been married for 7 years now and together for 12 years, so I reckon it's about bloody time really!
