At the risk of jinxing myself by starting this thread I'm hoping it's actually quite therapeutic to let go of September. The next few weeks are all about bd'ing and for those in the same boat, we can start looking forward to an October full of BFPs.

After a 41 day cycle I'm back to CD1, anyone else care to join me?

Digitalgirl CD1 2nd cycle ttc #1

Bucky2007 · 01/10/2007 16:06

oh I give up its still wrong...pennybenjamin is CD28?? I promise NEVER to touch the list EVER again . I got too excited.

Thepuddingchef · 01/10/2007 16:06

sorry...didn't make it clear...took myself off.
Just not feeling like I belong on it at the min.

Spink · 01/10/2007 16:29

TS - huge congratulations, I'm grinning like mad for you. That leukkorrhea wasn't lying!!

Muppet - I can totally understand you feel really disappointed, but you don't know for sure yet... so don't write an OCt BFP off too soon! ...In any case, I hope you feel a bit more energised and less sicky soon {squeeze}

Puddingchef - you Ok?

ladylush · 01/10/2007 16:32

Puddingchef - sorry you are feeling so down Hope you don't stay away too long - unless it's to join a pregnancy thread of course.

Josey and Twilightsurfer -Congratulations Had a strong feeling about TS I must say. Great news.

Scorpio - how are you?

SK - cycle usually short but m/c messed it up. I was 29 days last month and I think I ovulated around cd13-15 this month so only bfns so far. I am so impatient. Getting usual pre-period cold so don't think I will be lucky this month. Shocking mood swings too (poor dh). When are you next going to test? Don't think I will bother again until wednesday at least.

digitalgirl · 01/10/2007 16:33

twilight WOWOWOWW
well done you with your long awaited BFP, 13th cycle - lucky for some! so did you do anything different this time round?

puddingchef sorry you're off the list. hope you work it out and we see you back here soon

scorpio1 · 01/10/2007 16:34

Hi ladylush, was only thinking of you earlier today. Hope you are well; i watch to see if you have graduated yet! you will soon Im doing well thanks, im 12+3 today, had a scan at 11+4 because i had tummy pains, but all fine.

goingfor3 · 01/10/2007 16:35

TwilightSurfer CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a lucky thread, It's only the first of the month and I think you already have more bfp's than september had for the whole month!

ladylush · 01/10/2007 16:40

Hi Scorpio - sweet of you to check my graduation status. Glad to hear all ok post tummy pain. Nuchal soon - exciting

sweetkitty · 01/10/2007 16:58

hiya scorpio - can't believe you are 12 weeks already

ladylush - I don't know when I will next test depends when I cave in, the rational side of my brain thinks Friday if AF doesn't turn up on Thursday but I'm not a very rational person, Wednesday or Thursday at the earliest I WILL BE STRONG, but I'm not holding out much hope this month, I have already looked and I could still get an October BFP if I test on Halloween so can hang around here for a long while.

Haven't been on this thread for a while cos felt I had nothing much to say (cd's 1-7 are so boring!) but I have been lurking and now feel compelled to congratulate all the recent graduates!!!!

Deep breath....Loveverona, tigger, supperwoman, 07mtw, Calebsmum, Josey and the latest Twilightsurfer - CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Just don't forget to pass round some of that very lucky baby dust - there must be some left floating around!?

pigleychez · 01/10/2007 18:30

Wow

HUGE congratulations to Josey and Twilightsurfer

Cant believe 2 BFP'S in one day!!

Cant beive im CD21 already, gone quite quickly .

only thing to report is sore boobs, however this is usually a symptom of AF anyway.
Thats it though, no other symptoms of either??

It would be great if you lucky pregnant folk could post what your symptoms were so that us hopefuls can convince ourselves that we too have all the same symptoms!

Chez

GardenAngel4 · 01/10/2007 18:55

Wow! 2 BFPs in one day - this has to be a lucky thread...surely....do you think it bodes well for November...as I think I'm going to have to sack october - DH has a crisis with his family and has to fly half way round the world to sort it out - guess which day?? Yep. Mad BDing will ensue in the next 48 hours but I fear it is too early I may as well just take residence at the top of the list now

muppet -

GardenAngel4 · 01/10/2007 18:56

muppet that was baby dust for you...it seemed to slip to the bottom.xx

TheMuppetMuggle · 01/10/2007 19:37

Thanks girls told DP tonite he seemed quite upset although didn;t say anything just hugged me.

TS Congratulations honey

I've been told to make an appointment with Drs due my sickness and tiredness over past week n abit.

Will check back a bit later have to get DD to bed!

Meglet · 01/10/2007 20:09

muppet sorry you got a bfn. Hope you feel a bit better soon.

Congrats to all the BFP gang! Well done!

I am expecting AF tomorrow. Although I have been getting some strange twinges in my cervix so am wondering if thats something happening. Will test Weds if no AF.

TwilightSurfer · 01/10/2007 20:17

Thank you for all the well wishes . I?m still shaking my head. I can?t believe I finally did it. Now, how to tell all those folks in the real world .

I just finally finished reading all today?s entries. WOW this thread is mighty popular. I wonder why ?

Pigleychez My physical signs of pregnancy:
CD22/8DPO (.)(.)s sore for a day but I disregarded as pre-AF
CD24/10DPO very sore nips (felt like needles hitting them in shower)
CD25/11DPO LEUKKORHEA (spink)
The breast pain stuff has passed mostly but the leukkorhea hasn?t and from all I?ve read it will be with me till the end.

Digitalgirl Things I did differently this time:
I didn?t do anything differently (I don?t think?okay maybe a little).
Before birth of DC#1 in February 2004 I?d been on every BC under the sun for YEARS (remember I?m 36). Six weeks after her birth I started BC again but had adverse reaction and stopped it completely after two weeks. So for three years+ I?ve been unprotected but undecided as to whether I wanted to ?try? for a second. Around the middle of 2006 I decided a second DC would be good idea. So I did what I thought I needed to do at all the times I thought would be productive...but nothing happened. By December 2006 I needed a break from the idea & possibility. I went back on BC for two weeks in January with adverse affects (again) so I stopped again. I continued BD but each month I kept getting more and more discouraged. THEN I had an epiphany one evening in early June which led me back to BC again for 5 solid (horrible) weeks which ended the first of July this year. July pasted? BFN, August pasted?BFN, September OV on cue BD two days before and day of. The epiphany came from remembering my first conception. I stopped BC in February 2003 and conceived in May. So I guess I tried to recreate the first go round. AND it seems to have worked. (sorry that was wordy)

Sweetkitty I was an advocate for holding out so I feel I may have failed you. My cycles use to be 28 days then as this year has progressed they moved to 31 on average. So by old standards I?m ?late?. Knowing my OV date helped. 16DPO is a pretty good length of time to produce the proper amount hormone for the pee test. Had I not been feeling weird I probably would have waited. If I had enough hormones to make me feel funny?I figured it was a sure thing.

I?m going to keep lurking around this list because it is filled with wonderful folks.
Here?s the rest of my baby dust. I?ve been stock piling for months now.
See you all on the ante-natal thread.

Excitable · 01/10/2007 20:47

Muppet I really don't think this is over, if you've been feeling poo for a week and half, you're bound to feel a bit despondent, but you haven't said anything that made me think that you weren't pregnant, it could still be early days to be testing, especially if this is a long cycle. Just look after yourself for the next couple of days and test again if no AF. {{{{Hug}}}}

TS I'm especially pleased for you You've waited so long for this and it's what you deserve for showing so much patience. You've been so kind to everyone on here, don't think we haven't noticed, and we'll miss you around here. Please say you'll visit those of us who don't graduate now and then.

Puddingchef please don't leave us. If you feel we want to help, don't we everyone? Goes off to make extra pudding cos the chef might not feel like making it tonight

Excitable · 01/10/2007 20:54

TS I feel a little bit teary after reading your post. Sometimes I get excited and forget why I'm here, I just love coming round and telling everyone really personal details about myself that I'd never do in real life.

Still think this might be it. If I'm right about the pains that woke me up last week, I ovulated early, so that would make me 9dpo when I started getting symptoms. Is this enough? I'm going to do some quick research...

Bucky2007 · 01/10/2007 20:57

Yes puddingchef it was very that you tried to sneak away all without saying goodbye. But you cannot escape that easily nothing gets by the Buckster (bucky is wearing her supergirl pants today)...well ok, most things do, but we will miss you if you go. Hope you feel better and come back to see us and maybe even rejoin the list when you feel more positive.

fairysnuff · 01/10/2007 21:09

Oh WOW TS soooo chuft for you

I am glad you are going to stick around for a bit, I was just going to say that I would miss you and your baby dust!!

Well, I found out today that 2 more people DH and I know, are pregnant. That ontop of the wto I had forgotten about cos only DH knows them really, makes 5

I was jokingly whining to DH when he said that it was two sets of 3.
Eh?< 5 does not make two threes, methinks>
Well, we will complete the second set

Aah, they are good sometimes aren't they?

One of the couples have been trying for nearly 10 years I think, long long time anyway. This was their final try at IVF and they are now expecting twins
Blimey! don't envy her that much. Shame she is not a very nice person though or I could be more pleased for her. But even though,... she has been trying a lOOOng time so I am pleased that their final attempt succeeded. I wouldn't wish a distaster like it not working on anyone.
Am I coming across ok or like a horror, I really don't mean to be a horror??

Excitable · 01/10/2007 21:11

All research says WAIT AND SEE YOU CRAZY WOMAN!

Excitable goes to sit in corner on hands and behave herself... Goodnight everyone...
Sleep well...

More BFPs tomorrow please... yawn...

Excitable · 01/10/2007 21:16

Oh Fairysnuff we'd like you even if you were a horror, which you're NOT!! I sometimes I feel when I hear of RL BFPs and I have to like people very much to feel that they deserve something so special. If not, then I just hate them. There, I said it! It's lame and weak and mean of me, but it's true!

Been trying not to read my race book (race to BFP, not a book about race) for three days because I was a bit ashamed, but I think I'll read another section tonight. When I leave it, I just feel like I'm not giving the book a sporting chance

debinaustria · 01/10/2007 21:19

I'm starting a new thread for us, join me soon

Deb

TwilightSurfer · 01/10/2007 21:24

Excitable your symptoms sound on the mark. Be patient the next few days. I think you'll get that positive result.
