At the risk of jinxing myself by starting this thread I'm hoping it's actually quite therapeutic to let go of September. The next few weeks are all about bd'ing and for those in the same boat, we can start looking forward to an October full of BFPs.

After a 41 day cycle I'm back to CD1, anyone else care to join me?

Bucky I've tossed you a line...hold tight.

TwilightSurfer · 20/09/2007 19:53

moodymoo interesting advisement about hiding EWCM. Sneaky stuff isn't it!! About your improper AF...have you taken a pregnancy test to see if MAYBE your .

loveverona I went through same set of symptoms two cycles ago. In my case I think I "thought" myself to be so therefore my body let me "feel" like I was. Hopefully yours is the REAL THING.

TwilightSurfer · 20/09/2007 19:56

loveverona sorry my post does read clear. I felt like I was pregnant...I'm hoping your REAL THING is a BFP.

TwilightSurfer · 20/09/2007 19:58

"doesn't" NOT DOES
ARRGH!!!!!!!

TheMuppetMuggle · 20/09/2007 20:03

Hi all just thought that i would pop in and say hello see how you are doing anyone TESTING soon ????

moodymoo · 20/09/2007 20:24

Twilightsurfer - not even going down that road of implantation bleeding.Have got all the usual syptoms telling me I am getting my period so just going to sit back and wait - obviously if it gets to next week and still nothing then I would have to give it some thought.
Down side to all this is not doing any 'practice' - feel like am in a drought and dh is looking all smug cos he is getting a break.

lockets24 · 20/09/2007 20:36

Wow, this list is getting long now, I hope some people get to graduate soon to another forum and not back to the top of the list.

Any developments Bucky?

Har27 · 21/09/2007 07:54

Morning everyone! Hi Deb!
Another O on my ov test Day 15 now. Must not obsess, must not obsess...

sweetkitty · 21/09/2007 07:54

Morning everyone well I got my this morning so I'm guessing that the pains yesterday we ovulation starting, I assume the egg hatched yesterday at some point then just my surge was detected until this morning. Think I will throw in another BD tonight just in case or will I wait until tomorrow???

Har - I hope you got your this morning too

Hello to everyone else hope you all have a great September weekend (do you get a September weekend in England-shire I can't remember as the schools have just gone back there) DP isn't off as he is on national hols but the schools are and Scotland has a weird system where different places have different bank holidays. Anyway it's raining here as per usual.

sweetkitty · 21/09/2007 07:56

Cross posts Har sorry no but you are on a longer cycle yes? so you may not have ovulated yet. If I don't get pregnant this month I'm not using opks nevt they just stress me out!

lockets24 · 21/09/2007 08:16

moring deb, Har and SK SK glad to hear about hatching i am pretty sure something is going on down there cause i am still getting odd pains! good luck and enjoy Bd'in!

Har fingers x'ed for you!

x

Har27 · 21/09/2007 08:32

Morning Lockets . Pains are good! Am prodding my stomach lots to try and hurry mine along!

Hi Sweetkitty - hurray for the smiley face!!! I think a just in case bd tonight sounds a very good idea!
Don't know if I have a longer cycle than yours (mine's 29-30), I really hope so! But you've had ewcm for a while and I haven't so am scared nothing's going to happen this month and then next month dh is away for 2 weeks after AF has left so we can't try again till November. Am .
Agree that am done with these horrible tests. Am going to buy another pack tonight (but not digital, just too much twice in one month!) and carry on till AF comes so can know if something's wrong, but not buying them again after that. Too stressful!

lockets24 · 21/09/2007 08:46

MN is dangerous i have just burnt myself TWICE on my hair straightners whilst reading!!! ttc is hard work

x

eleanorsmum · 21/09/2007 08:47

can any of you give me tips on my other thread about going to docs today? have been ttc no.2 for 2 years

sweetkitty · 21/09/2007 08:50

Har - my cycle before the mc was bang on 28 days (CD27 then the next day AF) so a few days earlier than yours which may explain why I ov earlier. I agree the CBDs are way too expensive, I have 2 left I was thinking of posting them to you as I won't be using them again, I agree they are too stressful but it's good to know you are in working order so to speak. Is this only your second cycle off the pill? The reason I ask is that when I was ttc my first it tool 9 months and I think after all those years my body took a while to get back to normal, oh and I had a v v early mc a few months into that well period a week late v faint positive then nothing think it wasn't an implantation. Not been on the pill since and fell straight away with the next two. Don't want to scare you though, some women fall straight away after the pill some take a while, think the eggs need a shock to get hatching.

sweetkitty · 21/09/2007 08:51

Forgot to say morning back to lockets it's definately looking good for you

Har27 · 21/09/2007 09:04

Hi SK - thank you so much for offering to send the remaining tests, that's very kind of you! Unfortunately I live abroad so it probably would take too long. Thank you very, very much though !
Yes, this is my second cycle off the pill. Was expecting it to take ages for periods to get back to normal etc (took a year when I went off the pill for a while when I was 18) but first period came nicely on time so I was hopeful that things were ok. Also I'd heard that the 3 months after stopping taking the pill could be extra fertile so really hoped because that 20% chance each month statistic really freaks me out. Comforting to know that you took 9 months for your first dc and then straightaway for the second two. Well thanks so much for the help, am looking forward to following your 2ww on the symptoms thread and hopefully I will get a smiley face in the next couple of days and join you (even if just for fun!)

sweetkitty · 21/09/2007 09:16

Har - I came off the pill in March, had that "late period" in May then got pregnant with DD1 in November. I used opks for a few months inbetween as well. I forgot you lived abroad I'm sure your smiley face is on the way though I would love us to all be on the same antenatal thread from this thread. Wouldn't worry too much about stats, they are just stats human bodies and babies don't go on stats

Har27 · 21/09/2007 09:21

Sk -you absolutely shouldn't about the abroad thing, it's so hard to keep track of everyone's stories! Thanks so much for your support, I guess I should just accept that this will take some time and not decide I'm infertile every month! Yes, us all being on the same ante-natal thread would be just wonderful . Here's hoping!
