Bring on the October BFP's

At the risk of jinxing myself by starting this thread I'm hoping it's actually quite therapeutic to let go of September. The next few weeks are all about bd'ing and for those in the same boat, we can start looking forward to an October full of BFPs.

After a 41 day cycle I'm back to CD1, anyone else care to join me?

Digitalgirl CD1 2nd cycle ttc #1

josey lol re: holiday with MIL!!! It's a sign, a sign that a BFP will soon be yours.

abroller am v. of your early ov! am cd11 but not sure I'm there yet. will be ov-testing again tonight.

Question to the board: Is everyone having loads of quickies with all this increased frequency, or are you all having full-on 45 minute passion sessions?

OP posts:
Har27 · 18/09/2007 14:49

Digital - mixture but erring definitely on the quickie side. No wonder dh is so happy about this ttc lark!

Missus Ninjachild

Josey am also hoping for a timely BFP to rescue me from a couple of in law vacations

calebsmum · 18/09/2007 14:55

wow maybe we should all raise some money with this BD'ing lark, a sponsored BD marathon or something!

AbRoller · 18/09/2007 14:55

Quickies over here, "no passion, I'm dashing" before he heads off to work

sweetkitty · 18/09/2007 15:24

Loving all these BD stories, the things you say on the internet, we seem to go for quality over quantity, don't want DP getting too used to this because once the ms kicks in (I'm being hopeful) he'll be on rations.

Har - I keep thinking we are only on CD12, if it's CD16 and I don't have a then I will be worried. Don't know why I keep thinking I'm infertile, I have got pregnant with the last 2 first month of ttc but since the mc I keep thinking I will ever be pregnant again don't know why? Relaxing afternoon ha no chance have just put away Tesco delivery and having a "tea break" whilst DD2 is asleep and DD1 watching TV, forgot toput milk on the order and we don't have any so need to go get some argh!

Missus - don't think I could ever manaege having sex at 4am, DP up at 6am he would tell me where to go as well. DD2 has a baby sensor fitted for sure whenever we are getting down to it she has a little cry just enough to put you off, I think she wants to be my baby forever. Also have 3 cats who like wander in an out the room as well, it's a wonder we get any BDing done at all.

Abroller - best of British for you BDing may you egg be fertilised

calebsmum - don't worry about BDing a day too early little swimmers will still be about

josey · 18/09/2007 18:30

lol the things we do to avoid the MILs

SW my DH would freak if he had any idea of what I was saying on MN

DH wants his golf buddy over for Dinner tomorrow after a game, its also his boss so no pressure on me!! Though I have agreed as long as his performance continues

Digital girl, we are keeping nights to our usual, but we are both quite prone to an afternoon quickie behind a closed door even if the kids are about saying that much to my DH horror of course I cant say I regularly get a 45min work out lol!

debinaustria · 18/09/2007 18:30

Digitalgirl - 45 minutes - I wish!!

Quickies here I'm afraid, with 2 children around you just have to take your chance don't you?

Deb

lockets24 · 18/09/2007 20:05

abroller we are still CD buddies god knows why i had myself down as 3 days ahead..!

would you beleive the 4 days we are supposed to be BD'ing i have to stay over at work for 2 of them..grr, at this rate we are never gonna get there!

hope everyone had a good day hugs

x

kirstygem · 18/09/2007 20:20

Am on CD 14 and still no surge when peeing on my sticks. Not sure when to expect OV really as this first cycle off pill. have to say been very in mood though and seems that may be symtom of ov.
We move around lots too as Dh in forces so can sympathise with those finding it hard. Think as you get older it gets harder to make new close friends. Thank goodness for MNet

MissusH · 18/09/2007 20:52

SK - am being terribly hopeful about the 4am wake up call.. will probably manage a couple and then think "sod it" and ignore the alarm. Then sulk over the inevitable BFN! I need a morning mantra "sleepy sex is good, sleepy sex is good..."

DG - oh to able to manage a 45 minute sesh.. Last month we had afternoon quickies as dh was at grandmas a lot during the school hols and we had to take advantage of the gap between me getting in from work and dd arriving home. nothing like hearing the MIL striding up the drive to cramp your style.

MissusH · 18/09/2007 20:54

oops - meant dd at grandmas

lockets24 · 18/09/2007 20:59

LOL just walked into kitchen where DH is hoovering (was going to thank him) only to find him hoovering the gas rings on the oven!!! times like this i think we are not quite ready to be parents!

x

sweetkitty · 18/09/2007 21:47

lockets - pmsl laughing at your DH hoovering

MissusH - I have been known to say to DP when he asks if I'm in the mood tonight "as long as you don't wake me up go ahead"

moodymoo · 18/09/2007 22:06

Hi all - can I move over from Spetember thread please? AF arrived today so no point in putting it off any longer! Getting fed up ttc, I want results and I want them now - am rubbish at waiting for stuff. Am using the CB monitor, think it's great - love that I don't need to stress about opk's - the machine tells me what to do and when to do it - easy peasy. Has helped me work out my cycle and now I know that I don't ov until cd18 - so no wander haven't got pg before now as dh is usually 'resting' by then. Hopefully it wll help me get a bfp sooner.
Am cd1 of cycle 3, ttc after ending my first pg in March due to serious abnormaility. Don't care what I get as long as I get a healthy baby that is mine for keeps.

debinaustria · 19/09/2007 06:22

lockets24 · 19/09/2007 08:07

welcome moodymoo sorry to hear about you pg in March, lets hope you dont have to hang round here too long

Deb, a biscuit sounds much better than my healthy efforts of weetabix which is now a little boring!

x

sweetkitty · 19/09/2007 08:09

Morning all are we all shattered from all the BDing?

I've still got a O on the CBD and it's CD13

mandymoo - weclome to the thread and hopefully this is the one you graduate from x

lockets24 · 19/09/2007 08:09

not that hanging around here is anything other than supportive and lovely.. what i wrote before did not read so well!!!

x

debinaustria · 19/09/2007 08:29

So what's everyone's favourite biscuit? Mine have to be choc chip cookies straight from the oven, or maybe plain choc digestives, or what about chocolate hobnobs, and then there's chocolate fingers...anyone notice a pattern here?

Deb

lockets24 · 19/09/2007 08:41

if i am in a 'healthy' biscuit mood then a Rich Tea, if i am not..then a Custard Cream will do the job, although we came back from a holiday in Vancouver with the most divine Maple Syrup cookies they were really good!

Har27 · 19/09/2007 09:42

Sweetkitty, a big boring O for me too . And only two sticks left!

Hi moodymoo - glad you're so pleased with your ov test! As you can see SK and I are not (but we will be if we get a !) Both on CD13 and no smiley face, do you mind me asking how long your cycle is (if ov'd at CD18)? Thank you! And I'm very, very sorry to hear about your earlier pregnancy. Lots of luck for this time!

Wave to Shrek, sorry to see you here but feel this is a good thread so fingers crossed!

Everyone else, can I please ask a very TMI TMI question? Never had a clue about CM before this site and now reading the thread am obsessed. Everyone talks of fertile CM being clear but also very stretchy. I've just got an increase of watery CM. Not sticky and not stretchy. Does anyone know about this (I'm CD13 of a 29/30 day cycle)? Thank you

Bucky2007 · 19/09/2007 11:11

Har obviously you missed out my incredibly informative CM site on the symptoms thread . Just DO NOT buy the video as I will be very worried about you .
