At the risk of jinxing myself by starting this thread I'm hoping it's actually quite therapeutic to let go of September. The next few weeks are all about bd'ing and for those in the same boat, we can start looking forward to an October full of BFPs.

After a 41 day cycle I'm back to CD1, anyone else care to join me?

Hi Bucky - thank you for posting and actually I did get the link to your wonderfully informative website earlier (as if I'd have ignored that link!) but my CM doesn't seem to match any of the ones described there (and don't think I've ever had anything like their amazing elastic band glue cm). Might have to order the video for further info...

TheMuppetMuggle · 19/09/2007 11:56

Hi everyone

Sorry not been posting poxy internet went down grrr

I'll have to have a major read of the thread has grown soooo much

Well had a cervical Smear this morning not to uncomfortable but all looks good
am on 2ww wait now so fingers crossed

sweetkitty · 19/09/2007 11:59

Hi Har sorry about your O too but in some ways it's nice that someone else is getting an O too so it's not just me. Still keeping up the BDing just incase. From past cycles I reckon I ov around CD14 I hope I ov this month. As for EWCM I never really look at it but it feels like you have wet yourself and theres loads when you wipe thats what mine feels like, the thing is though (and this is TMI) when you are having loads of sex you erm tend to be a bit moist down there the day after so I've taken to smelling panty liners DP thinks I have lost the plot completely.

shreksmissus - hiya glad you here but not glad as that means you have AF, September was not a good month of ttc-ers I think October is our month, bring on the June babies, I would love to start the Due in June 2008 thread or even be on it.

Well I had better go and do some housework before lunch been out all morning visiting a friend with her 8 week old boy..............I WANT ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

sweetkitty · 19/09/2007 11:59

hi muppet too fingers crossed for the 2 ww x

debinaustria · 19/09/2007 12:47

SK - smelling panty liners??? The things we do eh? I bet you wouldn't admit that to anyone in real life!!

Thank goodness for MN

Deb

Har27 · 19/09/2007 13:06

Hi Muppet good luck with 2ww and good news that all well with smear.

SK - I know, it's very comforting that we're both on O's. Then we can assume that we're just testing too early and it's nothing spooky. Here's hoping for tomorrow then! And thank you for the cm chat! Sounds like mine (god, can it get more ?!?) Lol about panty liners. So wierd isn't it? Would never have dreamt of spending time thinking about cm, let alone examining it, just a few months ago and now here I am avidly reading Bucky's website.

Har27 · 19/09/2007 13:07

Deb - thank goodness indeed!

lockets24 · 19/09/2007 13:14

It is funny what we are prepared to chat about on here, think DH would be a little freaked to read all of this! But god its good to know you are not the only one!

Hi shreksmissus and thanks for the site Bucky just wish my cycle was the same every month or at least not so spread out!

x

Har27 · 19/09/2007 13:21

Lockets - I know, it's awful (but wonderful!) isn't it?! Am always v quick on the draw to hide this site from dh, cover it with The Times or something. I would be mortified if he read all of this. He still believes in the mystery, bless him. Did almost catch me out the other day, sneaking up behind me and asking 'What's mumsnet?' Heart stopped. Luckily he pronounced it wrong (he's French) so don't think he got what it meant straightaway and then I panicked and made him promise not to go check it out, implied (strongly) that it was to do with a surprise for him (which it kind of is I guess )

lockets24 · 19/09/2007 13:25

Har thats great 'covering it up with the Times'!! i love it! I just tell DH it allows me to be obsessive without boring him..this seems to be enough!

sweetkitty · 19/09/2007 13:32

oh and DP decided to have a hot bath last night pre BDing I rushed up whilst it was running to tell him to keep his bits out the water as hot baths are bad for sperm. He thinks I am totally insane now, hi attitude is that he's knopcked me up 3 times before so he must have super sperm

Har27 · 19/09/2007 13:38

Sk bad cocky Dp. Hadn't thought of that though, so will cross out my romantic plan of running us a nice bath when (if!) smiley face appears!

Lockets - very good reasoning there (and less duplicitous!)

ronshar · 19/09/2007 13:57

I am just looking in. I am not supposed to be here as told myself no TTC until October, following a tough time post MC in March. However I have ewcm yesterday and a little bit today. fertility calendar said I would ov tomorrow. So what do I do jump DH or stick to my plan????
I am feeling positive but still not sure if ready for the stress.

sweetkitty · 19/09/2007 13:58

sorry this keyboard is a bit mad at times and I don't proof read my typing, I bought a lovely wireless mouse and keyboard when I got this pc last month but can't get them to work (bloody Vista!)

sweetkitty · 19/09/2007 13:59

ronshar - I would jump DH personally won't hurt and at least you can have some fun.

TheMuppetMuggle · 19/09/2007 14:03

Just looked at the fertility Map
Looks great so fingers crossed for a 9th June baby

ronshar · 19/09/2007 14:05

Excellent I take that as a yes then!

lockets24 · 19/09/2007 14:18

SK we are having the exact same prob with Vista! wish just stuck to what we had!!

ronshar jump DH..lifes to short!

Meglet · 19/09/2007 14:26

Just caught up with this thread - no time to go on-line yesterday. In answer to your question DG, its quickies for us too.

Am wondering whether I have OV yet, usually get a bit rampant, but nothing so far . No bothering with sticks or anything.

TwilightSurfer · 19/09/2007 15:50

I'll need to start scheduling MN time as there's more and more posting each day to read. GREAT!!

Officially starting 2WW (CD18). Had planned to BD one more time yesterday but CM (yes, we're all about the CM on this thread) is not the right kind. Har27 CM is the closest thing we have to the smiley face on the O sticks...and it's free. I was wondering if the ladies using the O sticks are also checking CM...does it match up the way you think it should?

Have made plan with self to sit boldly without testing for BFP dozens of times this cycle! If no AF by 7Oct (CD36), will test. Now, off to find a hobby so I can keep my word..............

Tennis anyone? Gin

Josey how's it going for you cycle buddy?

TwilightSurfer · 19/09/2007 15:52

too funny
not gin!!!

ronshar · 19/09/2007 16:02

I prefer gin to tennis I have to say. But none of that on this thread!

emmy6781 · 19/09/2007 17:02

Hi There,
Have just had my implant out on 12sep so it has been 1 week to day, nurse said fertility comes back straight away, have been at it like rabbits and am desperate to do a test. Promised myself will not do one till 12oct so will be dead on one month of trying then. Dont think I can wait that long some how???

Bucky2007 · 19/09/2007 17:12

Twilight is that drinking or playing gin? Drinking...count me IN.

Bucky2007 · 19/09/2007 17:12

well for the first half of each month anyway...
