At the risk of jinxing myself by starting this thread I'm hoping it's actually quite therapeutic to let go of September. The next few weeks are all about bd'ing and for those in the same boat, we can start looking forward to an October full of BFPs.

After a 41 day cycle I'm back to CD1, anyone else care to join me?

cool toy Bucky!! Have bookmarked this for future ref!

I have varying cycles though so will have to bd for a week to cover all possibilities

pigleychez · 17/09/2007 21:48

Thats a nifty website bucky

Ive been doing lots of these online ovualtion calculators and seem to be getting various answers!

So like MissusH I too will be BDing for the next week and a bit, just to make sure we cover all options! DH has assured me that he really doesnt mind!

Hope I did that right - everybody check your stats, I'm rubbish at numbers.

Bucky love your calculator, but found that my due date is really near my friend's. The one that had a baby on my birthday this year. So if I get a BFP this month, obviously I'll be over the moon, but if it's a BFN, there'll also be some relief!

Thanks to everyone else who's confessed to working mojo's - you didn't leave me hanging and that's great.

I'm going to a conference in Harrogate today so have to get on a train and practice being posh. Wish me luck and have a great day everyone!

Excitable · 18/09/2007 09:44

Well, I WAS first when I started writing that!

Hi Everyone!

ladylush · 18/09/2007 09:56

Morning all
Have started the sex marathon for the month Quite enjoying it too

AbRoller · 18/09/2007 10:04

lol Penny, I take my hat off to you for your valiant bd'ing. Enjoy the rest

Hi looneytune and missusH, sorry bout af . Hopefully you won't be seeing her again for a long time. Hi also to abbymeg josey and ladyL (hi cycle buddy) yes, a bit of a cold sweat alright. told dp last night, he cracked up laughing, the brat!

Piggley I love the name Zac. We have no boys names yet but lots of girls. Ahead of ourselves a little no? - Naaaah

bucky thanks for the ov calender, I love it.

Hi other cycle buddy lockets

good luck today excitable

Wow that catch up took a while, where's all the bikkies before my tea goes cold?

ladylush · 18/09/2007 10:11

Laughter is an aphrodisiac

PennyBenjamin · 18/09/2007 11:41

Morning all,

Goodness, I'm bored of 2WW already! I'm only CD15, no idea how I'm going to make it!

Alright, the "marathon" (copyright ladylush) was exhausting, and admitedly I did sleep like a log last night, but at least I felt like I was doing something. All I can do now is eat well (boring!)

Does anyone else feel like they've been so in control of their fertility for years, making sure that there was absolutely no chance of getting pregnant, panicking about accidents, only to be shocked at exactly how difficult it is, and how short the window is, and how much waiting around there is!

digitalgirl · 18/09/2007 12:31

PB I hear you. Spent 10 years on the pill AND using condoms. Now here we are 'flying without a net' as DH put it the other night. Am CD11 and want to bd every night until I'm absolutely sure I've ov'ed, but having had irregular cycles I've got a 2 and half week window of ov'ing which apparently starts tomorrow. And it's only a couple of those days that actually count. Phew, hope we can last!

sweetkitty · 18/09/2007 12:39

afternoon all had a mad morning but hopefully a relaxing (ha ha ha) afternoon

CD12 already have got DP primed and ready I like even days better than odd so we BD every even day!!!! Still an O on the CBD this morning but think I have a little more CM this morning as I have had hardly any since AF went. I usually get loads of EWCM near ovulation and a bit of pain. Still I'm thinking what if I never get a what if I'm suddenly infertile, yes I am going potty.

MissusH - am a bit someone reads my ramblings you forget sometimes but I am glad you find them useful, I am a biologist and a nosey old cow into the bargain so I hate not knowing something and I have to be all scientific about the whole ttc business.

A friend asked me this morning if I was ttc again and I said "oh we will see what happens" she said oh you seem very laid back about it, pmsl yea if knowing it's CD12, using opks, checking for EWCM, BDing every 2 days on even days around ovulation, knowing exactly when AF is due and your due day of a baby not yet conceived is laid back then ok I am!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

lockets - hiya nice to have you back I hate losing net access I didn't have mine for 3 weeks and was so lost.

ladylush - good luck on the sex marathon, I would say we are about the 8 mile mark on ours. DP is in training for a marathon end of October but I tell him not to run too much.

thanks for updating excitable too

big hello to everyone else x

TwilightSurfer · 18/09/2007 12:59

Sweetkitty I hate the dreaded, "are you going to have another?" question. Have been trying to figure out a perfect response that doesn't say "no" but it doesn't say "yes" either.

MissusH · 18/09/2007 13:19

Afternoon All - hope spirits are high

SK, no need to be ! I can't remember any of the exact details of the ramblings (can just about remember what I had for tea last night...)

Anyway, have had a mad morning and haven't really had chance to post (bosses lurking at every turn...)... am feeling rough, thanks to AF but other than that I'm cool

I have told DH that this month I will be setting my alarm for 4am every other morning so I can pounce on him when he gets in from work! he doesn't know whether to be pleased or scared!!!

Har27 · 18/09/2007 13:19

Lol cycle buddy at your cool laid back approach to ttc . Am using a digital ov test too and I hate seeing that empty face staring back at me. Scarier than the lines. Empty face is so definite. And just like you I'm now imagining that I'll never ovulate or if I'm not going to ovulate this month (apparently some women ovulate only every other month, is that true?) and just checked in diary and dh is away next month at potential ov time .
Hope you get that relaxing afternoon!

Hello everyone else!!!

Har27 · 18/09/2007 13:20

Missus - love the 4am start!

AbRoller · 18/09/2007 13:39

ooh ooh two heavy lines on ov stick and ewcm

I'm only CD10, is it ewcm day before or day of O?

debinaustria · 18/09/2007 14:10

Abroller - don't be wasting time on the computer, get tonights seduction planned!!!

Good luck

Deb

TwilightSurfer · 18/09/2007 14:13

Abroller did you find this CM site: www.fertilityuk.org/nfps401.html

AbRoller · 18/09/2007 14:23

lol Deb, the seduction is gone out the window. I'm so excited, I rang him and told him to get his body home asap

Thanks for that Twilight, there's lots of info on that site about other things too.

calebsmum · 18/09/2007 14:30

Have fun AbRoller! According to the ovulation calendar me and DP baby danced exactly one day too early! Damn it, need to get in the mood for tomorrow night then, hmm I smell a few glasses of wine in my future...

MissusH · 18/09/2007 14:30

needs must, Har, needs must...

it's the only time we will be able to get down to business without being interrupted by NinjaChild (whose stealth amazes me - been caught before )

Right - I'm off on the school run, followed by a PTA meeting so will log in later - byeeeee

josey · 18/09/2007 14:36

Hello everyone, we all seem to be in good moods today, and ready for bding, is there a full moon due

Bucky the website was gr8 thanks

stats that I havent ov'd yet, and as dh is in gr8 bding tune im not letting him have any days off now until I know for sure we are having so much fun which is the main thing.

I really need to get a +++ soon though as MIL announced at the weekend that she wants us all to go on holiday together hahahahaha choke, splutter, pass out, shake myself ok back to normal after that frightening thought. So being PG will be the perfect excuse.

Had a very dull day today cooking, DD has dancing soon so need to get organised.
