Not much to report here. Been a hectic morning with carpenter and tree surgeons and neighbours and now am desperately trying to finish preparing this course I am delivering in Coventry at the end of the week. I am on slide 20 of 425!! If I make it to slide 250 today, then I can watch Strictly Come Dancing which I have been longing for for months!!!!! so sad I know!!!

I wrote a massive long post and someone decided to turn the router off ... let's see if I can remember any of it!!

Ready Yes Bluewater is rather cool - haven't been in a while but have friends who live chelmsford so when visiting them usually divert! How is the MIL's are you staying long - buying somewhere else any other plans ? Hope you ok - it is tough this ttc lark and even more so when you feel a month is not going to work as well as you want due to other things going on or like staying with family!

How did it go at the consultant appt Minxi? We got that "just keep going" after my HSG. Hope you got something different. We are splitting our time between MILs and hotelsat the moment. I am in ahotel right now Thank goodness for wifi We are not looking to buy anything for a while, the property market is a little shaky, so we are going to sit on our equity and rent for a while. As soon as DH is sorted, we'll be hunting

Morning all....

Storm the beaches eh Ready yes we must do that too....

Consultant yesterday was lovely said "it will happen - there is nothing wrong" no more clomid so last month at the mo.
Said come back in 6 months when we could perhaps think of iui and then maybe ivf ...said I don't think I could go for ivf as far too invasive (also lucky ebough to have 2 ds anyway but thats not the point) and then promptly got upset - cried all the way home - Dh arrived back from a meeting at exactly the same time so cried even more - he said we need to try more - he would re-arrange flights / meetings etc to accommodate me (he is away tomorrow for 3 days!!)....anyway started today cd8 onwards to get as much SEX as we can in!!!! He then said why would I not do ivf (last month said no your right too much stress etc etc - changed his mind after seeing how upset I was yesterday!!)

Feel better today just needed a good cry - sometimes you can bottle it in for months and just keep going and then one conversation can set you off....

Nappy that is a long time to wait - wheredo you live??

Oh Minxi - Big hugs, sweets. I know what you mean about one conversation setting off the tears. I understand you not necessarily wanting to go down the IVF route, it is a daunting prospect. Don't make any snap decisions at this point though. And don't give up the natural route

right i've never done this before - actively tried that is. had dd1 with no fuss, dd2 was an accident dd3 was due next week but had a heart prob and I had a termination. It took me 6 months to conceive her and I've foudn out dh has an inverted chromosone which coud mean i miscarry b4 I know I am pg.

This just all seems a bit hard now. I want to get pg asap. Any advice?

Hi ladies- sorry to hijack your cosy thread but I wanted to get in touch with Rah.

I was on the ttc after mc thread and the legendary MrsMcJnr lent me her book 'The infertility cure' which looks at diet, lifestyle and chinese medicine. I found it really inspirational and after 4 months of acupuncture and a month of chinese herbs I was lucky enough to get a BFP. Anyway, she has asked that I send the book onto you and I am more than happy to spread the good luck.

Do you have that CAT thingy set up? If so, contact me when you get back from holiday with your address.

I got my bfp at the start of september so just before my EDD which did soften the blow.

Hi Everyone I'm BACK!

And guess what............... Hold the suspense ...................

My bloody period started just before we left. Talk about a bum end to finish a holiday on...

I cried on the plane... Must people just thought I was someone freaking out about flying. hheheheheh.. Little do they know the emotional torture I am being presented will...GRRRRRRRR.. I was clinging onto Bertie's teddy (I take him everywhere) and wailed a bit to hard into it... Oh dear I better shut up before you think I'm totally crazy.

I will write later about the trials and tribulations of morocco.... exciting stuff!
