Ready is having difficulty in getting on the other thread due to length of it, so started a new one.

Gracie

You are not bringing the thread down, I hope this thread is as much to support us though the bad times, as much as celebrating the good times.

Keep us posted whatever you decide whether to TTC straight away or have a break.

I will be thinking of you tomorrow when you have your scan.

Sorry Minx to hear you are back at the top again but glad to hear that you sound alright about it and that you have cracked open the wine

DracuRAH · 31/10/2007 09:20

Hi All

Minxi, sorry you back to the top, hope you enjoyed your wine. I had a Chinese takeaway and a couple of glasses last night and already late for work, so better get off.

Hope everyone else is OK. Gracie big hugs and thinking of you. Best wishes for your scan and fingers crossed. XXXXX

Rah, Mmmm, takeaway and wine sounds lovely.

Gracie14 · 31/10/2007 10:37

Hi all,

Just to say had my scan and blood test which shows that I had miscarrige which is just as I had thought I had to ask the nurse if I had definately been pregnant as the last week has felt so unreal she said that I definately had been and at least I know I can get pregnant, not quite seeing it like that at the moment though

I don't think I will be taking a break from ttc, I'm going to carry on with the reflexology and see how I go although I'm not going to temp at the moment I hope you don't mind me hanging around here I haven't really told anyone in RL and you are all so supportive through good and bad times

Thinking · 31/10/2007 11:27

Gracie, You are such a strong, caring woman.

I am amazed that you have the strength to see though your grief to see the 'good' in your current situation, something I doubt I could do. (I tend to wallow in bad news)

You will be a wonderful and compassionate mother one day and I hope that day comes sooner rather than later.

As for hanging around here...you better do else I'll find and stalk you on all your other threads

Got both a pregnancy test and a bottle of wine ready, so I am sorted for the weekend, either way

Thinking - Thankyou for your lovely words, I so hope that I can be a mum someday soon.

I talked with my DP last night and we have definately decided to carry on he wasn't so sure at first and wanted to wait until the new year but to be honest what if I didn't try for a couple of months I would only be thinking 'what if we had...... I hope that makes sense I also need something to keep me going I don't want to think about the last week for too long

Thinking - How are you doing this month now your 16dpo? Hope its your month hun

How is everybody else?

Thinking · 01/11/2007 09:31

Gracie, I am so glad you posted. I have been thinking about you. Happy for you that you are TTC straight away, I know I would find it difficult to 'prevent' when wanting a baby.

Logically I know this cycle is a BFN due to terrible BD timing but that does not stop me wishing for a positive against all the odds.

fettleandbabyfettle · 01/11/2007 09:38

sorry for the hijack girls - but I just wanted to say to Gracie - good choice to keep trying. I had a very early mc last Christmas and conceived exactly 14 days later (I've never had a regular cycle, so it was a real shock to ovulate so quickly afterwards) - you can be so much more fertile for some reason immediately following a mc, so keep an eye out for that EWCM and jump on DH/DP - exactly what I did on a Saturday afternoon (not sure what we did with DD at the time, but she wasn't around?), but the 6 week old result is fast asleep on my shoulder as I type!

Good luck and waves to you all

take care xxx

Gracie14 · 01/11/2007 10:08

Thinking - well I'll be wishing for that postive as well for you Fingers and toes crossed.

Fettle - Thanks for your post - the nurse doing the scan yesterday did in fact say the same thing so I can't give up now just hope that we can catch the egg again and not have to wait another 13 months or more.
Hope that everything is going well with baby congrats to you and thanks again for posting

Thinking · 01/11/2007 16:08

Gracie, Thanks for the crossed fingers and toes. If AF stays AWOL I'll be testing tomorrow morning.

DracuRAH · 02/11/2007 09:54

Morning all...

Today is the day Thinking! Hope you get a positive!! Fingers crossed.

Gracie, It seems to be the way that when people MC early them seem to catch within a couple of months again. Its happened to quite a few of the girls on this thread that are now on the home straight! So major good luck for this month and agree so much with what the other girls have already said. You extremely positive and a lovely person. {{HUGS}}

{{{{GROUP HUGS]}}}} - Its amazing how we all get on so well considering we don't know each other... [hgrin]

Minxi - I'm HERE! [hgrin], sorry I have been run off my feet, but need to calm down a bit as getting a wee bit stressed. Its Bertie's birthday on the 8th, so I'm feeling a bit emotional at the moment.

Hope everyone else is well and OK, I will try and locate Ready and email her and see if she is OK.

Speak laters Xx

Sorry, I should of updated last night. AF started late last night, so as expected I'm back at the top again. But I have a bottle of wine for tonight and I think an August baby would be great, so here's to pinning DH down on the right days this month, so I might actually have a chance of conceiving.

Rah, I have heard you mention Bertie before, am I right in assuming this is a child you have lost ? Please ignore this post if it is upsetting. I will be thinking of you on the 8th.

How is everyone else doing this morning ?

Gracie14 · 02/11/2007 13:57

Rah - I too will be thinking of you - I have been emotional enough this week over my circumstances and can only begin to imagine the amount of grief you have had to go through, take care of yourself and DP (((HUGS)))

Minxi - So pleased your having reflexology I'm sure it helped me in concieving (well relaxing enough to concieve) and I hope that it will help again. Let us know how you get on

Thinking - Sorry to hear about AF lets hope we can all graduate from this thread in one go

I'm feeling more positive today - had abit of a wobble yesterday as I also work with babies (as well as trying for them! ) and it has been quite hard but getting through each day and trying to stay positive. Hope you all have a lovely weekend.

DracuRAH · 02/11/2007 19:33

Thanks guys... I have been a bit down today, but feeling better this evening. I had a call from a company that get your details when you get a Bounty bag from the hospital and she was trying to sell me something now my baby is a year old. You can imagine it went down like a lead balloon!
Thinking, yes Bertie was born last year, but was very prem, he was under 2lb. He was in the neo natal unit for a short time but they could not stabilize him so they turned off his ventilator.
I don't mind talking about it, so don't worry about your post or asking me questions.
I hope i'm not going to be too miserable over the next week, I will apologize in advance for any rants or inappropriate posts!

Gracie, what is your job? Hope you don't mind me asking?? Well done for going back to work so early, I'm not surprised you had a wobble. Very hard! Hope you have a good weekend too!

Thinking, sorry to see you at the top again. Your right an August baby would be fab and the wine sounds nice, ENJOY!!

I got a text from Ready, she is OK but has no internet access, she will be on when its sorted. She sending kisses to all!

RahRah1 · 02/11/2007 21:59

Look at this www.dutchtub.com

How cool... I want one!

The heater also doubles up as a stove that you can stick a wok on!

OHHHH I will be the talk of the neighborhood if I get one of those!

Rah, I can not imagine how hard it must be to have loved and lost a child, even the thought of losing my DD makes my heart stop cold. I am sorry that your son Bertie came early and left so quickly, life is so cruel sometimes

Ready · 03/11/2007 20:59

I've been without full internet access for a few days, cold turkey on MN!! I can get emails and check facebook on my mobile, but replying is mental on a tiny mobile keypad and the threads are too big on MN for me to even look at them. Drat!

Big Hugs to you Rah - I am in awe of you, you inspire me A truly amazing woman, that I am lucky to count as a friend (p.s loving the dutchtub chick !!)

Minxi - I am really sorry that you are in another cycle. Hugs. Good luck with the reflexology, I am really interested in it, so would love to hear all about it Can I ask - if you could go back, would you have chosed something other than the depo injections as contraception??

Thinking - Hugs to you too - sorry that you were not lucky last cycle. Keep trying chick!! Take the positives from each cycle, your body is showing you with temps what is going on, and I know the temp dip is gutting, but I try to look at it positively - the hormones are doing what they should!

Gracie - I can't imagine how hard it must be for you, going through what you are and working with babies I am pleased that you have decided to keep trying though, I totally understand what you mean about wondering about the missed months if you take a break

NappyValley - cycle buddy!!! I hope you are ok? Busy getting busy?? Can I ask - and if it is too nosy, that's cool - is it difficult ttc with a young child in the house?

LittleSquirt - Hope you are doing ok? Plenty of chocolate and relaxation in the early part of the cycle - Rah told me that you can eat an extra 500 cals on CD1 without putting on weight - I hope you took advantage of that

Sorry if I have missed anyone, but I have been away and catching up

RahRah1 · 03/11/2007 22:54

Evening everyone...

Thanks Thinking and Ready XX

Well I'm can't believe it but I'm on CD1 again today??? Which puts me only on CD24?? Whats all that about?? Never come on this early. Don't have a clue when I ovulated now! I was 30+ days before the acupunture and then the last two months CD28 but now CD24! Even before Bertie I never went lower than CD28. I'm panicking now that the acupunture is doing something it shouldn't! Do you think its lowering my LP Length?

One good thing is that I thought I was going to come on around Bertie's birthday, so a bit of a bonus, as that would of been a bit of a kick in the teeth!

Oh well, better go and plan for next month. I'm getting a monitor as we now don't have a clue when I'm ovulating!

Hope everyone is well and having a good weekend. Speak tomorrow Xx
