I am going to join you, af late a few days and a few symptoms, but they could be in my head as negative test last Sunday, I had a bit of bleeding around af time, so really not sure, I mean paranoid

@MissTTC2020 im cd3 today, af is still here. It was 5 days late so it better have finished by tomorrow lol. I feel like we are constantly counting down the days when ttc, counting down til af buggers off, til the fertile window begins, to ovulation to waiting for af again 😂

@Franklydear Hello and fingers crossed for you! When will you test again?

I am going to wait until Sunday, as I am going a bit crazy and tempted to test a few times a day

@MissTTC2020 yea Monday at the earliest! I will only test before AF if I have any new symptoms! I know it's so hard to wait but when you keep getting a BFN month in month out it gets easier to wait! Well in my experience anyway!

@Juno231 my DP is usually there when I test so he will know straight away! I will plan something nice to tell my mum and granny though as they have no idea we are trying 😊

CD11 3days till ov. Complete negatives on LH tests, not even a bit like "it's building up" and temps gone up a little.

My head, that I was not letting go crazy, is going "omg what if you don't even ovulate? What if you got it wrong last month? You've never done this before, what do you even know?"

And then I go "you've never done all this tracking before, what do you even know? Shut up and keep POAS! Weirdo!"

Shall be getting through work on the boozy fudge I made yesterday 😄

Yes our cycles do sound similar! I was supposed to start on the 4th but still no sign...
This is a very supportive group, it's helped me alot as trying to conceive is so isolating I think. The ladies on this group are very clued up about cycles and super funny too!

@Jellybean252 have you tested? Again its super hard to keep track of everyone that has or hasnt. That makes you 9 days late right? Unless im reading that wrong. What is it about ttc that basically messes everything up 😂 my app now predicts a 30 day cycle with ov cd16 ish. Im going to try some of the SMEP theory i think and dtd every other day if we can. I already know ov day is out due to our hectic lives but hopefully every other day and the day before will be enough.

I was hesitant about joining a forum - I never really anticipated how comforting it would be to hear from people in the same boat as me.

Not fully up to speed on the lingo but I’ve been trying for 10 months. I had a chemical in December.

AF due on 17/18 February and tried to not to let it consume me but haven’t done so well on that front.

I took some plain paracetamol this morning to be safe but if I still feel crappy later I'll probably take a dose of cold tablets to help me get through the full day of clinic that I have ahead of me.

Welcome to the group @MissTTC2020. I'm currently 11dpo on cycle 2. Trying very hard to be chill this cycle and not over think things.
I actually felt really poorly last night, horrible nausea from about 6pm onwards. I'm sure it was just this cold brewing and nothing to do with anything else... (she says trying to not get ahead of herself!!!)

@whatsthecraic91 Monday seems like so long 😬 Although totally get how hard it must be to keep seeing BFNs. Will try not to until then unless as you say start getting any new symptoms!

@Anon87 Boozy fudge sounds like the best idea 😂 I was also totally over thinking O this month. I ended up having NINE days of flashing smileys on CBD before I got my static smiley and the last 3 days I told myself very similar to what you've told yourself 😂 'My body is broken' 😂 'What if I don't even ovulate' 'What if I didn't quite pee on it right' Anyway hopefully you'll get your surge soon and ovulate!

Hello @Heypij You're a little bit ahead of me, my AF due 19th I think now. I stupidly did a test this morning and was so upset at a BFN. Don't know why I did it so early I just thought it MIGHT be and want it so much! Have you had any symptons yet this month? Or in reality is it too early for true symptoms yet?

@Sausage1990 Hope the tablets have helped. If I had cold symptoms and/or nausea right now my head would 100% have fallen off. So well done for keeping it together! Have you tested yet? When are you planning to?

Come on February! Please let it bring lots of BFPs for us!

@MissTTC2020 I know it seems ages but this weekend yous should do something nice for valentines & to take your mind of it! We are going on a date to IKEA on Saturday - I can't wait I love building flat pack 😁

@whatsthecraic91 we're going to see the new harley quinn movie saturday, and we actually have the night off together tomorrow so some quality time with oh and his daughter tomorrow night. My 3 are spending the weekend with their dad. Definitely helps to have something else to focus on, even at the times when ttc is impossible haha (af should disappear tomorrow or sat!)

We are out tomorrow night. First time ever.

DH told me this morning I'm too obsessed. Then he said- more worryingly, if I end up with a BFP then life is going to become even more stressful and the sh*t will hit the fan then. I thought, hmmm, yes I'll literally have a breakdown. How well you know me! 😂

I take one day off the forum and miss a BFP!! Congrats @professorastrocat that's great news!

I'm now on CD3 of my next cycle, having a bit of a weird AF for me, longer and slightly heavier (normally pretty much done within a day then spotting for 2-3 days, but still getting actual blood - sorry for TMI). TTC really does throw your body for a loop doesn't it??

Ah it’s so tempting to take a test early isn’t it? the last time we did it was when we got a BFP but then unfortunately it didn’t last. So I’m trying to not take them early as it was quite tough going from such a high to a low in the space of a week!

I’ve been having prolonged headaches (which I had last time) and strangely enough sore nipples. My mood had been all over the shop but then I’ve also had a really intense and stressful time at work so I wasn’t sure if that was causing my headaches/moods/sleep problems.

Something in my head is telling me isn’t not happening this month but you always cling on to the small hope.

Are you having any symptoms?

@Franklydear - 100%! I thought I would be so chill about it but that feels like a distant memory!

@paintfairy I know I will absolutely shit myself when I actually get a BFP 😂😂

I tested on Sunday with an expired test (2017) LOL. It was a clear blue and it said not pregnant.
But I'm aware that expired tests are no longer reliable due to the fact the chemical in the test expired and can no longer detect the hormone.

On sat morning I'll test again with a proper test and FMU and see how it goes.
Expect to see a BFN :(
