right, here are the clues

I 'm 40 in 3 weeks, have planned monumental piss-up, have just got my life where I want it, have bought lots of new undies, a half case of good wine and a bottle of bombay sapphire and a box of 40 tampax. Am 3 days late and belching like a warthog and am on two lots of medication that one should not really be taking when preggo and have been drinking and a little b it of smoking and not a tablet of folic acid or a leafy green vegetable for many moons.

Of course I know that if one lets a boy put his winkie near your front bottom then there is a risk one could be preggo, however it's not like that happens every day.

will do test on the weekend and if negative get appointment for coil fitting PDQ I can tell you.

Well if was a decent malt rather than Bombay Saphire my money'd be on Judge Flounce.
Otherwise, clueless (plus c'a change...)

bozza · 30/08/2007 20:14

I doubt it would be twig - I'm sure it's no secret that she has issues regarding having another baby because of her DH's illness. It wouldn't be a straightforward thing for her. Not really her posting style either. I think she is about the right age, mind you.

CatIsSleepy · 30/08/2007 20:14

somebody tell me 40 is too young to be perimenopausal!

BreeVanDerCampLGJ · 30/08/2007 20:15

Good point about Mr Twig...had forgotten that.

BreeVanDerCampLGJ · 30/08/2007 20:16

Cat would love to, but can't.

CatIsSleepy · 30/08/2007 20:18

PMSL at Desi's last comment! In fact, as I am at death's door with a cough (offends all lung cancer sufferers) I nearly died laughing there.

I'll vouch for UCM - cos I'm pretty sure we share a birthday and we're not 40 this year, OR NEXT YEAR.

And this thread hasn't upset me in the slightest and I'm ttc and have just had a m/c. Threads on pregnancy & babies are what I expect to see on Mumsnet.

morningpaper · 30/08/2007 20:36

I find this thread EXTREMELY OFFENSIVE

BECAUSE SOMEONE SUGGESTED IT MIGHT BE ME AND I AM 32

NOw WTF is up the duff?

Fimbo · 30/08/2007 20:42

Hmmm, well I was 40 in July.

Just not this July

MynamesMikeIswimlikeafish · 30/08/2007 21:01

I'm a September birthday......just wish I was 39.

UCM · 30/08/2007 21:06

Oooooooooo Duchess, do we?? Happy Birthday then?

TheDuchessOfNorksBride · 30/08/2007 21:07

OP says "little bit of smoking"? Does Moondog smoke er, anything? I've no idea how old she is either. But she does say PDQ which isn't a common saying.

Bored now. Will attend to my hideous feet instead.

SenoraPostrophe · 30/08/2007 21:07

MynamesMikeIswimlikeafish · 30/08/2007 21:11
