Hi Ladies, any of you out there around cd 8 looking for someone to chat with during the rollercoaster ride that is ttc? A lot of my friends already have kids and I’m feeling a bit left behind. xo

@Wintergal today I have no pains but I have a water infection 😩. No idea what's going on. It may not be ovulation pains could be cramps? When are you planning to test

@Wintergal actually now I'm getting sharp twinges on the right hand side of my stomach. 🤔 I've had this for the last two days.

Heya everyone, just saw this chat and thought I'd say hi!

I've just started using the ovulation kit on Friday, I've had 6 high fertility days so far, I'm on cycle day 12 and its already driving me a bit mad, not sure how i'll do this for the however many months it will take. I've never really paid attention to when I ovulate and now i'm googling everything and anything!!

We've tried to avoid this for the last 6 years and now we've made the decision to try, I want it to happen straight away!

All my friends have babies already too and I don't really want to discuss it with them! x

@EB211 welcome! What kind of ovulation test is it you are using? TTC is very stressful, but you have to stick in there & it’ll happen! We’re all here if you wanna chat about anything x

@sammiantha2020 eeeee Im too scared to believe it. I don't have the usual symptoms of dizziness or sore boobs. Though I had shooting breast pain yesterday but I'm sure I've had that before the only difference is these sharp twinges which I haven't had before. Fingers crossed I really do hope it is my month and also anyone else's @Wintergal.

Thanks @Jenna30ttc and @Sammiantha2020! :) I'm using the Clearblue digital ovulation kit, seemed to be the best one!

@Jenna30ttc you won’t get every symptom straight away...sure sore boobs started after the pains/twinges for me...but please remember not everyone gets every symptom!! You both are still very much in with a good chance 🤞.
I’m sure I haven’t used Clearblue digitals at all... I use cheap opk’s & track bbt - this works for me! I’ve heard both good & bad things about the ovulation kits. Try not to let it stress you out...at the end of the day aslong as you dtd enough throughout your cycle none of these things we use should matter x

@Sammiantha2020 you are very right. Hard not to think so much into it and realise that we're not all the same. How are you feeling? How long does af usually last you?

@Jenna30ttc I’ve known loads of folk who have had absolutely no symptoms throughout their entire pregnancy ...everyone is unique! We worry ourselves sick trying to compare ourselves to others... we need to relax!
I’m ok, I’m on day 2 & still pretty heavy...usually lasts at least 5 days, but then I’ll get started ASAP as I was not prepared to ov cd 12 last cycle at all, but I will be this time 🤣 knowing my luck it’ll change again! How are you?
@EB211 honestly I’ve been ttc since last July with 1 mmc @ 11wks and I’m pretty sure not 1 cycle has felt the same.
@Wintergal dizziness was one of my very first signs that stayed with me for about 2 wks after my d&c (until hcg dropped). Sounds promising x

I don't it if it's just my body playing tricks on me I'll have to see if Af arrives next week xx

@Sammiantha2020 have you thought about doing SMEP? I think its worth a shot. Not sure if it's the relaxed approach but if af arrives for me I think I'll do that next cycle.

Im okay I just hope the next few days fly by so I can test. But I think I will only test until I'm a day or two late (so i say) 😂😂

I was tempted to try that next month also see if it's more relaxed

@Jenna30ttc I’ll need to try something different as clearly what I have been doing hasn’t worked 🤣.
When is af due? I knew at 10dpo last time...I just felt ‘different’ x

Im due on 28th so another 5 days yet. I guess only time will tell 🙄 I don't feel obviously different. So I dunno. Its all very confusing 😂.

@Jenna30ttc I'm due the 28th too! I'm very tired today putting it down to the weather, and my boobs are kind of tingly but kind of having pains every so often but on the inside not to touch if anyone gets what i mean 🤣

@fingerscrossed95 oooo we're cycle buddies by the sounds of it. I do know what you mean I had shooting pains in my boobs but they don't last long and also itchiness. Which is odd. Not constant but I found that every odd.

@Jenna30ttc hopefully they are good signs! Keep getting period like pains though so I'm expecting af around the corner
