Hi Ladies, any of you out there around cd 8 looking for someone to chat with during the rollercoaster ride that is ttc? A lot of my friends already have kids and I’m feeling a bit left behind. xo

Nothing in particular, think it's just the not known, the waiting and everyone around me having kids

I’m from Glasgow, however we are currently living in Newcastle for work.
I’m dreading it ...it’s like going bk to school after the summer hols 😆.

Can I jump in :) I'm 27, married to my husband who is 33, we have a 7y/o DS and trying for #2. Had the coil removed two weeks ago, followed by a bitch of a period and now I'm on CD 12. Had some clear but not strong OPKs which seem to be fading but we did the dance three times this week so who knows if it was an early ovulation? Told myself I wouldn't become obsessed with POAS but bulk order more OPKs and internet cheapies today. I'm having twinges in my left side so if I haven't already OV'd I'm hoping it happens this week! I'm so impatient and everyone around me is announcing their 2020 pregnancies (four so far!) Would be great to have some friends to go through this with as my husband would think I'm mad if he knew how much I'm obsessing.

Hey @mumworkstudywine how are you? Welcome! I’m going to do my first opk of the day/cycle @ 2 but only on cd 10 so imagine there will be a hint of a line...keeps me occupied though 🤣. The pinching sounds like ov is nearby for sure - just keep dtd and it’ll cover you! My oh already thinks I’m nuts & he doesn’t know the half of it lol.
I’ve come back to work today & found out someone is expecting 😔 boo! Weird mixed emotions as I’m so happy for her (she experienced a loss a few months before I did) suppose I just have to see it as a positive and that when life gives you lemons, make lemonade!

I feel like going back to work is rubbish... last month and even before that I was always thinking oh well, lots to look forward to over the Christmas period, and now it's just nothing.

I need to book a holiday lol x

@Sammiantha2020 I totally agree! Need something else to look forward to and think about lol. My smiley face ovulation kits came. Am literally like a kid wanting to try them out l! Think I've defo went crazy!!!

How do they work? Can you only do them once a day? Though I suppose too expensive to do anymore than that!
