Miscarried 22nd October at 6/7 weeks and starting to try again this month, so cycle 1 as I had the mini pill for one month until I was ready

@urbansloth thanks for checking in! I’m good had a bit of a melt down yesterday with DP not being able to perform 2 days in a row but we had a talk and got it all sorted and managed to do it last night! Due to ovulate tomorrow! How are you? Did you manage to get some BD in?

@whatsthecraic91 it's so difficult isn't it, I think we put a lot of pressure on our OHs and also it's so unsexy when you're thinking of babies and trying to get it on 😂 I'm glad you got it sorted! I was also angry because OH decided last night was a good night to stay out late and it was the first time I had a positive OPK. So our LO was already in our bed by the time he got home. Luckily we managed it, but we had to be creative 😂 so we have managed to BD O-2, O-1 and today is O day so we will try again today and then I think we've given it our best shot! I think I'm going to give the OPKs a miss next month if it doesn't work this month as I think it's made me way more stressed. I am reassured that I am ovulating and I know roughly when so will just try to take the pressure off a bit!

Question:
Ovulated this weekend. Have a 40 day cycle. AF due 28/9th, but do I have to wait that long or will I get an accurate result after standard tww?

In theory I guess you can start testing from 14DPO as it should be the same amount of time to implant etc! If you can wait that long 😂 I ovulated today and I know I'm not going to be able to wait 2 weeks before I test!!

@urbansloth that’s what I thought. I intend to hold out to the evening of the 1st if I possibly can though.

I also wonder about dating. Having a longer than average cycle I thought would be taken into account with dating. However with ds I went to my booking in at 8 weeks, was told I was 10 weeks and that was confirmed two weeks later at my 12 week scan. So if I date my pregnancy from the beginning of my last AF it automatically puts me further ahead even though I don’t ovulate until further on in my cycle. So confusing!

I have been wondering about this too. Last time I wasn't tracking my ovulation, only my periods so I didn't think anything of it. But if you have been tracking ovulation, do midwives take this into account? Surely they do especially if you have longer cycles.

@urbansloth yay thank you! No not tried a frer yet, I did 2 internet cheapies, so will try another one in the morning and I have I think clear and simple as well in the cupboard?

@Posharmchairs me too! I believe it is, especially as I've had 2 dreams that I am pregnant!! Strangely I think that's a good sign! If you ovd this weekend then try about 10/11 days from now? I've been thinking about dating too, if I just tell them my last period they will think I'm like 6 weeks along even though it would be 4!

@Crumbsinthecarpet it sounds weird but with my daughter I had no symptoms at all except I just randomly decided to go out and buy a pregnancy test. We were 'trying' but not very hard, I can't even remember if we even DTD very often (although probably way more often than now as there were no toddlers around 😂) so your dreams probably say a lot more than the symptoms!

@urbansloth yea I definitely do forget how much pressure is on our partners, I will definitely try and be more sensitive!! Happy day’s seems like you have all bases covered! I’m hoping to seduce DP again here when he gets into bed! Predicted ovulation day is tomorrow so I’ll see what my temps are the next couple of days!

@whatsthecraic91 no not got a FRER , I've got some more cheapies and also some shop bought ones, and I have ONE clearblue digital that is reserved for when I 10000% have a good strong line on the others, that's more for my ego than anything else 😂😂

I’m officially out for the month, AF started today. Weirdly feel much better about it than I have done in previous months. Getting on it in Feb!

@whatsthecraic91 I am guilty of pressuring my OH 😂 we didn't manage it last night as we were both knackered but hey ho!

And @urbansloth I really am! I told him about 2 mins after I found out!! And my mum 😂😂 I'm not going to hide this one from anyone, last time when I miscarried I realized how I would have preferred people knew so they would be there to support me, without me having to tell them that I was, here's hoping for a sticky little baby, but I feel good about it! I didn't have an instinctive good gut feeling about last time, but I do with this one

@Liam2018 did you use later urine with the second two? There's a very faint pink line in that first one, maybe try again in the morning with fmu?

@Liam2018 you're not out until AF shows! Different tests have different sensitivity so your HCG could still be too low to detect in the second test. Try again with FMU?

I tested, and negative:( problem is I I'm cd42 with irregular periods so no idea where I'm at :(
